We liked it a lot. The room was very good - big and clean. Breakfast was great - quality was very nice. The hotel is suituated in the center - good to walk in the evenings.

The image shown on Expedia, of the front of the hotel is kind of misleading. The bottom portion of the front of the hotel is a restaurant and not the hotel itself. The hotel reception is hidden behind the building where you have to walk a couple of stairs left and right to get to the reception. When I booked I was booking for an authentic experience so somewhat disappointed. However, the location seemed quite central

The front of the hotel looks nice, but inside is not as full of character as this suggests. The room was clean and adequately equipped, and the underground parking was useful. For a “pet friendly” establishment it was disappointing to be told that dogs were not allowed in the breakfast room and there were no other options for where we could take breakfast, so we declined. I suspect we wouldn’t have been allowed to leave our dog in the room, and I wouldn’t have done that anyway. In close proximity to the hotel there are lots of nice places to eat, which was good. There was a communal balcony area which we expected to be able to use (nobody else was out there whenever we went passed) but we were told that this was reserved for “other guests”… not sure how much more than €100+ per night one needs to pay to be allowed on a communal balcony! But there were no other outside areas to sit. Overall, very underwhelming.

Superbly located in the centre of the town, with easy links to the excellent German public transport system (which is effectively free to tourists). Extremely helpful staff, and served what was probably the best value (both quality and price) breakfast we have had in similar standard hotels, and free coffee all day long!

Great hotel and location. Only issues were shower floor was slippery and our air conditioner made a ticking noise. Breakfast and staff were great. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was nice and Well situated. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The room lacked somewhat. The aircon didn’t work so it was very hot 😅

Access to hotel with vehicle as well as parking in garage under the hotel is a bit complicated.

Nice hotel, excellent location in the middle of town. Breakfast very nice and their greek restaurant food was excellent. We didnt try the other restaurant ,only there for one night.

The hotel was in an ideal location, the team were super helpful. We will definitely visit again.

In the City center, fortunately it was possible to park in the garage of the hotel. The staff was waiting for us, since we arrived around 20.30 and was very helpful in the overall check in procedure.

Hotel is located in the centre of Lörrach so easily accessible. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the local area. The hotel is approximately a 20-minute drive to Basel.The communal area in the hotel feels a little run down and could do with redecoration.The rooms are a good size, clean, and are fairly well insulated from noise. My only complaint would be that the pillows are extremely thin.Breakfast was excellent. Breakfast items were regularly replenished by staff and the variety far exceeded my expectations.Upon checkout, the staff gave my wife a lovely gift bag with oils, soap, and a towel, which she loved.Overall, we loved our stay at Hotel Meyerhof Lörrach and would visit again.

The train & bus stops are less than a 10 minutes walk (even with luggage). The train passes will allow for a day trip to Basel. The hotel is surrounded by many wonderful restaurants (the Greek place below was a favorite).

Great hotel, right in the center of the town. Modern and comfortable. The fridge was stuffed with very reasonable priced items. We had some difficulties finding it as the GPS did not help, but a hotel staff waited for us at the parking gate and gave as the keys right away. This was very helpful as it was already late and we had some very sleepy cranky kids with us. I would definitely stay there again!

A great place to stay. We were unable to check in until 11 pm. At that time there was no one at the front desk. Getting the room key was a little annoying. I would recommend this place as long as you are checking in before 9 pm.

The hotel is really nice. But what we liked the most was the attention of the reception. We had problem at the airport, and when we were at the way to the hotel the receptionist (sorry If I wrote his name wrong - Joseph) made a phone call to check where we were and to give us the instructions to take the key (the reception close after 9pm). So we felt really glad of his attention, we were so thankfull.

Very nice hotel. Would stay there again.
