Overnight stopover, although in the city the underground parking and 24 hour reception made it a good option. My phone map showed the hotel on the opposite side of the road for some odd reason and we had to ask how to access the underground garage (from Avenue de Caen), but once we found it a good hotel. Comfortable night sleep, clean bedding and bathroom and and the bathroom looked recently done up. Friendly staff. Tasty and convenient breakfast included (continental with eggs and sausages).

Great for overnight stay, quiet room even though they had a coach load in. But a long walk 30mins into town for supper in the cathedral quarter. That was the only problem for us.

The hotel was perfect for an overnight stay. The staff were friendly and caring and assisted as needed. It would be better if parking was included in the stay and we could have driven straight to the underground parking. This could have saved us some time and confusion.

Not easy to find. Underground car park on the opposite side of the hotel entrance. Check-in was a little painful. The worst thing was the bathroom cleanliness. The best thing was the breakfast in the morning.

My friend and I spent one night at the Holiday Inn near the end of a two-week visit too France. Due to a mmix-up with Hotels.com, the reservation I had intended for June 9-11 was made for June 7-9, so when we arrived it appeared that we would be charged for nights that we had not stayed. Further, while we could stay for the night of June 9, the holiday Inn was fully booked for the night of June 10. The desk clerk quickly found us reservations at another hotel for the night of June 10 and the manager kindly did not charge us for the nights of Jun7-9. The room was large by French standards and it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best offered while we were in different parts of France. I would gladly stay there again.

Staying here was stress free and enjoyable. Old part of Rouen was quaint, with great restaurants. The only inconvenience for us is that it was further than we thought of places we wanted to see.

A very pleasant short holiday with plenty of interesting places to visit. So many nice areas to wander around and appreciate this lovely city and area. The hotel was spotless clean, with cleaning service standards that other hotels should aim to achieve. All staff were courteous and helpful.

This a lovely hotel with excellent staff. Welcoming, helpful and friendly. It is fairly basic, but is modern, clean and the rooms are bright and airy. The breakfast is fine. The bar service is very good, but the bar area is not very convivial. Although the immediate area is a bit run down, transport into the old town is easy and cheap.

The hotel seems to be in a quite area but I felt unsafe. Luckily the car in parked in their underground car park but there are only limited parking spaces. Breakfast was good. Good value for money.

We had an excellent stay, and the breakfast was outstanding.
We had three adults and were in a room with a pull out couch. The room was too small for three adults.
Further, the hotel would do well to add a small refrigerator to each room.

It took us a bit of time to find the hotel as our GPS took us from behind and the entrance of the hotel facing at a corner direction which is quite hard to find. The breakfast was quite good, croissants, eggs, hams, yoghurt and a few other stuffs. It is not close to the city centre, we used the hotel’s parking for 9euro per night. The only thing I would suggest the hotel to upgrade it’s the hair dryer, it’s so weak to the point that there’s hardly any air blowing even on it’s strongest mode, it took me more than half an hour to dry my hair, not fully dry as I was so tired to spend more time on it!! It’s really frustrating.

We parked in the road next to the hotel and the car was broken into and several bags stolen.

Good for a couple of nights. The air conditioning worked well. The parking is a bit tricky to locate especially the turn to enter if you don't know where you are going. You can make a right turn right off the main road into the parking entrance, not following google maps. Area a bit rougher but seemed safe overall. Easier to drive to town than walk it from hotel.

Neither our sat at nor Google maps could find this hotel, but it became clear that Rouen has a lot of roadworks at the moment. Parking requires you to drive around the block to an entrance but is actually underneath the hotel and is secure.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, nicely appointed and with a/c.
Breakfast was excellent.
Use public transport to get into the centre, it’s easy and there are bus and metro stops near the hotel. (You need the T4 bus line,). We walked into the centre when we arrived….it takes about 25 minutes hence the suggestion of the bus!

This hotel is just a short train ride from city center, 15 min). The hotel has limited food options on site, and the surrounding neighborhood is very limited in its options. These negatives are easily overcome and the staff is wonderful.

Fresnel and helpful staff. Clean room, breakfast is simple but good enough. Tram/metro just 5min away. Grocery store just 3min away. Great for those who travelling with car.

Great hotel to stay in Rouen. Very convenient to park in the garage and leave it there for the stay. Tram lines to the CityCenter are close by.
Service was friendly and room was clean and well serviced. Breakfast was the normal standard you get in a holiday Inn. No complaints, would come back.
