Definitely not a family hotel.. the elevator was broken and one of the staff had to take us to the lobby from back of the restaurant.. he was doing his best us to avoid waiting after waiting for a long time for the elevator. However we literally had to walk inside back of the restaurant kitchen to get to the lobby because its on the fifth floor.. yet the brakes went off at the second night where we had to contact the front desk to make sure it was back on.. the hotel is definitely not convenient, easy or fun. Will not recommend.

The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. It is conveniently located to all the hospitals and the medical tower. You can walk to ninety percent of the needed medical facilities .

Light on fixture behind TV could not be turned off- had to sleep with it on all night. It was wired into the wall. Also the body wash in Shower was empty.

The room was very large and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and spa-like. My only negative was our ac was very noisy when running in the bedroom. The living room was nice and well furnished.

Dropping my son off at Rice and will absolutely return to this hotel for future visits over the next four years. Clean. Comfortable. Friendly. Great food. Awesome pool. Perfect location. Efficient valets! Thank you.

The hotel was nice room was good but the lobby on 5th floor was a little weird. The valet employees were blah and rude. Didn't help with bags. Didn't explain anything upon check in. Text service to call car was disabled. When calling valet to retrieve car they were not friendly at all and still I tipped them. Loved that their was a Starbucks nearby but other than that a okay hotel. Oh rooms were hot Ac was okay but it was on all night. A little noisy.

The room was not ready two hours after checkin time, and there was no staff around for the early checkout. The facilities are getting old and under maintained as well.

Check in was a breeze, literally took 2 minutes then we were up to our room. Nice bar area really convenient location, we stayed here a night for a concert

Great location but parking can become a headache in the garage for the price but overall ok. Getting around hotel is challenging at first since there’s no location to stop in front of hotel. I have to take elevators and it’s complicated. Beware before booking here, rooms are nice but it’s in the middle of the medial district around 3 hospitals

Valet was a mess when we arrived we were asked to stay in the back behind cars that needed to be moved but we saw other cars cutting to front. very unorganized. Our room temp was warm when we first arrived we put the air down but the room did not cool. I asked the front desk to have someone check it. We left for about 3-1/2hrs when we returned the room was even hotter. This was around midnight. I called the front desk twice no answer so we had to go to the lobby to get ask for some assistance. We were moved to another floor with a cooler room. On Saturday afternoon we went to the restaurant and it was a while before we go a server to give us drinks . Overall I was very disappointed in my stay.

Not so good, the air conditioners for all rooms stops working from 1 am to 4 am also the whole hotel stops the water running in all the rooms from 10 pm till midnight, really a bad experience

The property was perfect besides the homeless guy that was laying across the street at the parking garage and jumped at my kid. But either way, definitely a 10/10. Service was amazing, the servers at the bar were top tier—even extended the service when we went poolside. Overly accommodating. I will definitely be back with my fiancée next time. Definitely want to look into booking for a future event.

Hotel room was great. We loved going to the bar and the pool. Unfortunately the Bar and restaurant were on the expensive side and the food wasn’t good.

We just left the hotel and I am so satisfied on how clean it was, it was great to get back and really being able to rest knowing the place was clean. The valet service was also really good everyone always kind and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend and I will surely come back here!!

I stayed on this property when an unexpected flight cancellation forced me to find a last minute stay. This was a wonderful option to rest overnight and work the next day. The gym is nice as well as the pool area. The food at the restaurant is great.

The stay was pleasant and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The checkin went well and the woman that helped us was friendly. The bellman at the front door was very friendly. We were not pleased when the a/c changed to 85 while sleeping. That is just wrong. Sunday morning the service in the cafe by the desk was terrible.

Our family experience at the Westin was excellent. The staff at front desk was welcoming and polite. Room was clean, kids loved it and enjoyed their stay. We will definitely stay here again, very convenient location the TCH.

Cons: I had 3 kids and 3 bags with me and no one helped me with my luggage.
