The staffs were amazing. Location was very closed to many famous local restaurants. However, the hotel was quite degraded despite being built from the ground up just a few years ago. The room was big, but it is also quite outdated, so definitely did not feel the 5* vibe. Moreover, I caught a few bugs in the room, and the room is definitely not soundproof as I could hear all of the honking in the morning despite staying on a very high floor. Pool is very large, but slippery and unsafe. Breakfast was simply boring and I would rather just go out to enjoy amazing local food.

The hotel looks great, especially the rooftop pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Look closer, though, and all isn't so good. The pool and view from the roof are great. Initially you walk through a bar area to get to the pool. It was only on the second visit that we realised there was a more direct entry point. Quite a few tiles on the walls were missing or broken. The room looks a good size when unoccupied. It's deceptive - the bed is very large and uses a lot of floor space. There is nowhere to open a suitcase that doesn't block pathways to the door, bathroom or balcony. It's not great to have to Steptoe over it or move it repeatedly to or from the bed. Also, there were only two electrical/charging outlets and one wasn't very accessible. There was a great selection for breakfast and the food was good. But it was spread over several areas in the breakfast room. That might be ok for some but I've been used to all the options being in a single area. In general, staff were welcoming, it was comfortable but there were too many little details that meant it didn't quite live up to the asking price.

Such an amazing stay at this hotel. I stayed here for one night and it was such a lovely experience. The hotels facilities were amazing and the staff were so professional and friendly, particularly Gigi in guest relations. Will definitely return to this hotel if I ever return to this city.

Pool is the only reason we want to stay here since we have kids but price is pretty high compared to others nearby. Parents must be aware that they have only 2 persons room. Any children over 12 would be charged 950k vnd more. They have 4 person room but price is the same as 2 two-person room. Bottom line is we wanted children to be with us all times and we have to pay premium price. If you dont need fancy pool then you have plenty of options from nearby hotels

Loved this hotel for our family with two teenagers. Stayed in connecting room which gave us all lots of space. Rooftop pool had the most amazing views. Breakfast was also excellent

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Vela. I stayed here last year for a couple days last year and enjoyed it so much I stayed for nearly 2 weeks. What stands out at La Vela is the friendliness of the staff. They are always willing to help you and have good English. The breakfast has a great variety, but I love their room service food, which is very well-crafted and on par with fine dining restaurants back in the U.S. The pool is another highlight, which is pretty but also very fun. Thank you La Vela!

The room we stayed smelled, I think they need to clean, vacuum, or change the carpets. The breakfast options weren’t of my preference and the coffee was bad. The service and the staff were very helpful and nice.

Omggggg I absolutely loved this hotel!! Super spacious and comfortable, the infinity pool at the roof top was sooo amazing I wished I spent more time up there, so next time I’m back to Saigon I’m gonna book to stay here again. The buffet breakfast was pretty good also, the most importantly thing I love about this place is that the staffs are extremely helpful, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here if you are in Saigon!! I’m definitely coming back!! This is a place to be at!!

Amazing rooftop infinity pool and bar, clean comfortable rooms albeit requiring maintenance 4 issues with shower drainage, staff welcoming and friendly if somewhat unsure at times, room service only available if you use Facebook messenger, tried calling but staff became flustered with language barrier. Used grab deliveries as an alternative which worked well. Guest experience could be elevated eg having a number displayed on room phone to ring reception etc. Spa was enjoyable. All in all an enjoyable stay and recommended.
