Okay, nice hotel 🏨 which expects Americans Customers but don't accept any American Express Credit Cards, it's weird. Good breakfast but don't expect good meal for lunch or diner. You need go down town. Friendly staff and the best point is the lead cleaning staff lady, very very nice and helpful lady👍

We enjoy all amenities and features at the hotel. Two things to improve: buble tube was broken and lights at balcony did not worked

The rooms are well decorated and the view is great. You will get a lot of noise from the road in the morning. Hopefully it was just during the time we were there but there were a lot of large trucks with air brakes and loud horns pretty early in the morning. Also the staff did almost double charge us for our lunch in the restaurant so just pay attention to your bill on checkout.

Greatest place in Samana

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Samana Bay. The staff were welcoming and helpful without being overbearing. The rooftop pool and bar was amazing, I loved sitting at the bar and looking out on the ocean. The hotel is very close to restaurants and shopping which is convenient. They also serve breakfast in the morning which was nice to have on site. The parking is underground and has parking garage staff so I felt like my car was safe. The interior was beautiful and my room had everything I needed for a short stay. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will return again.

Very friendly and attentive staff, front desk Luany make check in and out easy they help us with tours and directions. Highly recommended this hotel. Breakfast included and a bottle of wine.

Clean and adorable

Beautiful view of the bay from both the room and rooftop bar/pools. All staff was extremely friendly and courteous and even though we do not speak Spanish very well, they were very patient with us. Room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Although restaurant was not busy, the meals we had were very well prepared, presented and extremely tasty.

It's a stunning place, the services was amazing! Great location

Great location, great room, great pool

While the hotel was very nice (beautiful lobby, restaurant and rooftop pool, the room was missing some 5 star amenities. The tile work in the shower was unfinished with an entire area ungrouted. There was no minibar. No spa treatments were available. The area next to the hotel was under construction. The staff was wonderful and friendly and the onsite underground parking was very convenient. The views from the balcony terrace and roof were AMAZING

The workers are very friendly and attentive! The view is to die for the only downside was the ants inside!

First class service from all the staff members. Special thanks to Luis for the great service. The hotel has speechless views and plenty of restaurants around. The food at the hotel is pretty good with decent prices. The only thing I would suggest for them to work on is; the main lobby should have AC. There is no ventilation even though it is a beautiful lobby. Second; I would suggest to have scented the hotel in general. A fresh and nice hotel smell always makes a difference. Other than that, I highly recommended this hotel.

Room has a great view of the bay and the hotel's pool offer an excellent view as well. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

We liked EVERYTHING about this property. It was clean, upscale, service was great. Their restaurant is amazing and it had the best breakfast we enjoyed during our 5 day trip. The pools were clean and the pool bar attendants offered excellent service. You can dine alfresco by the pool. The restaurant as an excellent menu. Try the mini Mofongo and the Croquettes. Will definitely go back.

Great stay, the only thing is that they don't have cork openers, they told me to borrow one from the restaurant and the restaurant said that they don't borrow them. The option they gave was for them to go to the room which you and open the bottle, which would mean another tip.

Great staff!! Wilmer and Junior took great care of us in the restaurant. The view of the Malecon is spectacular and while there is still a lot of construction, it’s still awesome and will just get better. The staff at check-in was super polite and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the gym, and don’t miss the rooftop bar, pool and dining area. A must!!

Pros: -had two pools, a kid pool, and two hot tubs-view from pool was amazing! -had free breakfast with lots of choices -have a fruit juice on arrival and a bottle or wine -front desk was very helpful and our son particularly liked one of the security guards that was very friendly -smart TV -underground parking with a security guard -dog friendly-only $25 fee -some of the employees could speak English -clean outside area-places to walk dog that has security -hotel can set up excursions through action tours-but know the prices before you go! We used them for the el limon and los haitises tours and it was great. The last day they tried to take us to the beaches for $150!! Just know before you go! -cool balcony and views of bay-could hear the bikes -good a/c Cons: -when we arrived the pool had green stuff on the floor -not all the breakfast food came out fully cooked -stopped drinking natural juices and using ice because we got sick -sometimes gave us bad fruit -food from menu would change-got the shrimp risotto one night and it was pesto flavored and delicious. The next night it was yellow and not as good. -order burger twice-both times the bacon was raw -they are working on the downtown area-this hotel is a little ways away from restaurants and there aren’t the best choices around. -water in shower smelt like chlorine from the pool…I really hope not Overall, it was a good experience.
