Loved this place! A perfect spot just inside the city wall, comfortable, clean, and Paolo was excellent. The balcony was perfect for a quick meal or morning coffee in the sunshine. Check in and out was a breeze. The bathroom is upstairs in the room and the ceiling is lower. We are under 5’10” and it was perfectly fine for us but if you were very tall, your head would touch the bathroom ceiling.

No heat until November 1, was there in October when temperatures were cooling. Had to inquiry for more coffee (one pod per person initially) and toilet paper.

Porta Delle Farine is a well located apartment in Montepulciano. We stayed in the smaller apartment which was very adequate for 2 people for 3 nights. The apartment was very clean and very quiet at night. Our host Paolo was absolutely wonderful, giving recommendations for sights to see and restaurants. He assisted us with public transport, even acquiring bus tickets for us when we were having difficulty getting them. Thank you Paolo for making our stay so good.

the property was in a very central location, clean, very comfortable, lovely fresh towels and I loved that we had a beautiful wine glass ready for us to open up a nice bottle we just bought from across the road. our kids played with the local cats and loved our balcony watching tourists walk past. the hotel had a lovely welcoming feeling and Poalo was very helpful and welcoming.

everything was perfect! I only found it difficult to find fruit and milk for my baby in the town so walked a long time to find a little supermarket that only sold a few bananas, was a little difficult with kids who love fruit and milk in the morning.

Very clean. When created, attention to details was obvious. Master carpentry makes each of the three apartments a vacation themselves. The terrace, area to prepare caffe, showers and sitting areas are all beautiful with higher quality fixtures and furniture.

Beautifully renovated property in an excellent location. For a first visit to Montepulciano it really did have the wow factor being in the old city. Appointed tea/coffee crockery etc - kettle/coffee machine, it was easy to buy snacks from the local stores and enjoy them at the accommodation. Easy to communicate with the owner/manager through WhatsApp. A great find and so happy we stayed there.
