The staff was great

We loved walking the area around the hotel. Disappointed that checkin never mentioned room cleaning options or that we were charged for parking.

Although the room was clean, the carpet was damp and musty. It felt like it had been shampooed, but not allowed to properly dry.

A bit expensive for what they have to offer. Main issue that I faced was my room reeked of seepage. Specially in shower, the drain was stinking

Fabulous experience. This hotel nails the essentials: Cold AC in the room, strong shower head, comfy beds, quiet neighbors, strong toilet flush, huge big screen TV, excellent restaurant, friendly staff, beautiful surrounding area. I wish I was still there!

This was actually the best stay. The employees went above and beyond for us. They were full transparent when they didn’t have too. That to me is priceless. If you go please ask for Matt at the pool. He has amazing customer service. He won my kids over.

Amazing 2 night stay - wish we had stayed longer!!! Our room was ground floor had an amazing view of the marina. We had drinks and food from the bar at happy hour and also had breakfast on-site.

Lovely location and hotel quite small and friendly. General areas well maintained well but didn’t like cleanliness inside room, even though we had the suite…. Dust on ceiling of rafters bit of a turn off and easily sorted really. Had good time with family but rooms need an upgrade

Amazing! Breathtaking views of la playa and the city. Very nice area and all the staff were wonderful and very helpful. It was kind of a trek to get out of shelter island to use the city transportation but it was doable. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is actually really cute and the location is great. We enjoyed our stay but there were a few hiccups: 1. The toilet handle was broken on arrival. 2. The body wash in the shower was empty on arrival. 3. The shower head fell off and hit my son the second day. 4. The carpet was frayed The staff were very warm and kind. The issues I listed seemed to be due to a lack of sufficient staffing rather than staff neglect. More of a management issue. Hopefully they are working on it.

This place is amazing, the location, the pool and pool entertainment. The staff are fantastic. Great for families. You can see the fighter jets all day.

As in the previous times in which we have been guests of the structure everything was comfortable, a structure that would need some modernization but absolutely comfortable and well maintained... we will return again when we are in San Diego again.

Staff was wonderful and polite the room was really clean and stocked. Had a great weekend, the view is a plus.

I expected more. The room was average. Needs updating, like carpet, furniture, etc. For 978$ i expected much more with it being by a marina

The front desk is super friendly and enthusiastic

Overall had a great time at this locations. Close to many attractions like seaworld, old town and seaport village.

Sonce the day we got the room we had pipe issues the sewer water was backing up in sink and would create a very unpleasant mess and smell. The maintenance came 3 days in a row and we couldn’t even relax or shower when he was there

Great location excellent room with marina view

Stay was excellent!

There were so many positives but unfortunately the few negatives outweigh them. Location was excellent. We loved the area it was in and found the Point Loma area delightful. The views of the marina were wonderful. Both pools were inviting. We ate breakfast at the hotel on our last day and the food was good. The rooms were cleaned daily which I appreciated. We had a mini suite so we had a kitchen table, a counter and a sink. The room had basic dishes, a sponge and mini bottle of dish soap. The toliet and shower had its own room with the sink outside. The sink counter waa a bit dated but clean while you can tell the shower was updated with clasic tole and a glass door. A hair dryer was not provided so you will have to bring one. All staff memebers were polite and friendly. Unfortunately, despite all these positives, the bed was not the most comfortable and the room smelled damp. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced and not just cleaned. Also, while at the airport I saw that the hotel charged me almost 100 over what parking costs, so now I have to call the hotel and sort that out. Overall the stay was good but until the floor gets replaced I would stay somewhere else despite all the good qualities.

Rooms 134 - 137 are in an alleyway used by semi trucks to deliver to the hotel restaurant, early morning delivery truck backing into do delivery’s beep beep beep when backing up and sit with engine running for hours as they unload.

I loved everything about our stay! Family trip to Sea World, Padre game, beach time & convenience of everything all around us. Will definitely stay here again.

The environment

The hotel was perfect. Right across the street from the water. Cleaning staff was excellent and plenty of daily specials in the bar/restaurant. Food was good at the restaurant

Comfortable, clean, safe, and convenient hotel with nice amenities and amazing views of Downtown San Diego. Right in front of the bay , marine ,and a public park with a pier where you can fish. The room was always clean and the front desk people were friendly.

The rooms were clean and nicely decorated.The location is great and we easily Uber our way to Seaport Village, Little Italy and old Town. I stayed during a busy holiday weekend so it took a while to get through to housekeeping and the restaurant.

Quiet area but not too many food options within reasonable walking distances.

Convenient spot to stay, great location for early morning walks along the shoreline. Nice that there is a restaurant and bar at the hotel, and suite we had was spacious. Loved the balcony for the mornings and evenings. Wish we could stay again, but unlikely since they are doing away with their pet friendly status. Overall a great time though!
