The hotel was very nice and as expected. The room was clean and tidy. The front desk attendant was very nice. Only minor issue is the door lock was quirky. But I am sure that is an easy fix. The location is very close to many services. Overall, I would definitely stay there again. A good value, particularly for Santa Barbara.

Best Westerns in general are nice. This was very resort like. The people were very nice. Having free breakfast is great when you need something in a hurry and you don't really no the area. It's centrally located between downtown and UCSB where we were visiting. The rooms are a decent size. The beds and pillows were fantastic. I know that seems odd but nothing like a comfy bed when your traveling.

Nice staff only downside was the vent in the bathroom that was on the whole time....
There needs to be a switch to turn it off for comfort reasons .... noise and cold air

The room was quiet and comfortable, and breakfast was very good. The courtyard and pool areas are beautiful. We enjoyed trying to identify all the topiary animals!

The room itself was great. The parking was not. My room was all the way in the back of the hotel and the only parking I could find was in the front of hotel by the lobby. It was a long walk.

I’ve stayed here several times over the past five years and it’s not as clean and up to date as it used to be. The grounds and landscaping are well kept. The rooms are okay, very average, but it’s just outrageously priced for what you get. The breakfast is adequate but nothing special. Easy parking. We paid nearly $100 in taxes and fees for a two night stay.

The property has beautiful landscaping. I enjoyed sitting out in the gardens after breakfast. It is so very lovely.

The facility itself was good. The plumbing was extremely loud and we were awaken by a noise resembling a train coming through the room every time the shower was used in other rooms.
Otherwise the location worked for us and the room was in great condition.

After long day, we come to room to find out room was not cleaned. When I request service, been told I suppose to request room service 24hrs in advance and ask if we need fresh towels can be collected from front desk. I travel lot and this is the first time it happens to me. To me it is courtesy to let customers know when they check in when they are not planning to clean rooms. Most hotels, its customer option to opt out cleaning not other way around.

This is my second time staying here. I love their location, their rooms are clean. I love the garden! Pool and jacuzzi had towel area. The breakfast is delicious and not boring! Everyday is different, staff friendly and helpful. Excellent stay, thank you!!!

Close to Santa Barbra and SOLVANG. Bed was comfortable. Like that breakfast was included. I would go back if I needed to spend time in that area. Property is well maintained.

This property actually surprised me in a good way! Staff were very friendly, rooms were fully equipped with a fridge and microwave, beds were comfortable, shower was clean and had nice shampoo, soap, conditioner. Definitely renovated in a good way. Breakfast also was included and had many hot items with a variety. Was able to sit outside on patio chairs to eat breakfast while enjoying the weather. Great location which was close to the airport and many restaurants to pick from in the area. Highly recommend!

The check-in was almost an hour later. The room was not cleaned on time. Strong smell of bleach in the room. The front desk staff was nice and tried to help.
The hotel needs some refresh for sure. Wired smells.
Will be back when it’s renovated.

Gorgeous hotel! Beautiful garden, heated pool, jacuzzi, and the table tennis are our favorite. One of the best breakfast that I have ever had. Various coffee options - even latte, cappuccino, espresso, etc. Very happy with the stay with my family.

We arrived late at night so our first impression of the hotel was the room interior which was fine, but felt in need of work. For example, the toilet was installed so the door would hit the toilet lid.
However in the morning we got to see the entire grounds, which are spectacular! The walkways, the gardens, and the pool are all absolutely beautiful!
The free breakfast was maybe just a little better than standard motel breakfast. For example, they have an automatic espresso machine and soy milk in the fridge. However the omelets had this very artificial american cheese, and the cereal choices were just sweet kiddy choices.
The staff at the front desk were super nice and helpful!
We were only there a night but this would not be a bad place to spend a few days. However it feels with a little work and some small changes it could really be a special place.

Excellent stay. Grounds are beautifully manicured and sculpted. Pool and hot tub are large and clean. Breakfast options are the best out of the 5 various BW hotels we’ve stayed at during our coastal highway travels. Highly recommend.
