Beautiful lobby, with wonderful on-site restaurants. Very upscale and modern decor with a touch of elegance.

We stayed here for two nights as we were boarding the Carnival Cruise on Monday 9/30.. They allowed us to check in early as we were 6 hours before checkin but my husband hadn’t slept in over 24 hours. We then went to Bourbon Street and Canal Street and did a lot of walking. We were always greeted with smile and warm welcome. Loved the iced lemon cucumber water available in the lobby. The only negative we had was the overpriced stocked fridge and snack items.

This hotel was so well maintained. I wish we could have taken advantage of more of the amenities but we were only there for just a short stay. Nothing was dated about this property and we would definitely return, close to the action but far enough to be able to get a good nights sleep!

The staff is amazing!

I was upgraded to a suite/handicapped room, which was at the end of the hall next to housekeeping, so it was very busy. The shower has no glass doors and the shower curtain does not go all the way down to the floor so the bathroom floods above me was either housekeeping or a very noisy room because you could hear the door squeak 24 seven and things being dropped on the floor, the carpets were dirty food on furniture smoke detector hanging off the wall and went down at 6 AM. They have no coffee no pool you have to slam the door because they don’t latch properly which is a safety concern if you’re staying here.

Large and well-appointed room, comfortable bed, friendly service. I enjoyed my stay and will be back.

It was my first time staying at the Kimpton Hotel Fontenot and I was very impressed from the moment I walked in. Marvin at the front desk was personable, full of information, and made me feel welcomed. I received a text after checking in from Emma at the front desk who also provided great service. Ross and Roland who work at the front door helping with valet parking made me feel like a special guest. I am lifetime member at Marriott with high status; however, my experience at this IHG property was far superior than the half-hearted "welcome" I have been receiving at Marriott properties who usually do not even upgrade me which used to be surprising. Next time I am back in New Orleans, I will stay at this property. If you go, be sure to read the display near the elevators that explains how the hotel got its name. I had a clean, spacious room. Very nice interior design throughout the property.

Friendly staff and great quiet location in nola

I had a spacious room with good beds. I chose the hotel for the three restaurants under its roof as I was reovering from a procedure and cooldn't go far. Housekeeping didn't speak any English and needed prompting.

This was my second time staying here and it certainly wont be my last! Absolutely loved everything about our stay here - from the amazing lounge and restaurant in the lobby, to the decor, the nice rooms, and its proximity to everything we wanted to see/do in the city. I highly recommend staying here, you wont regret it! 10/10

Absolutely an amazing check in experience: very welcoming valet and front desk staff. Our front desk receptionist was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. She was also informative and shared everything we needed to know about our room and perks included with out reservation. The room was very clean and spacious. The peacock room was as beautiful like the photos on the website. 10/10 would recommend and book again

The hotel is beautiful! They have different happy hour themes nightly. Free delicious coffee from 7am - 10am in the in hotel bakeru/deli. We started our day about 8-9 am and there would be staff standing in the lobbey to greet you good morning and offer any assistance you may need. The front desk staff was wonderful!

From start to finish, the service was phenomenal. I booked a vacation for my wife's birthday, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The concierge upgraded us to a city-view room upon arrival and the bellhop/valet helped us with all of our bags. The front desk even brought us several miscellaneous items we forgot to pack. It was our first stay here, but it will definitely not be our last!!!

The Kimpton Fontenot is a wonderful hotel close to many fun activities. It’s clean, has a friendly staff, me is a great spot to stay.

Perfect location in New Orleans, very nice room, classy bar, great staff and very good price

Parking is expensive but there is very little oversight so I doubt there are meter maids during this off peak time. Hotel was just ok looking and nothing like what Expedia showed.

I always enjoy staying at Kimpton hotels. This one of course has lovely restaurants, the bar is super fun, and the service was excellent! We had the slightly bigger room and beds were great!

Lovely hotel. Most pet friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Only complaint was time it took to get help with luggage and car from valet. My room was very comfortable as well as large.

I loved my stay at Hotel Fontenot. The rooms are modern. The staff welcomed us with treats since we were celebrating. Ray at the valet area was exceptional! Aaliyah was awesome! Thank you everyone! I will definitely stay again when I’m in New Orleans.

Very CLEAN and the room was comfortable. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Quaint bar area. Would recommend and would stay here again.

My stay was awesome. There is no pool on site.Everything is for a price including items inside your hotel room. The inside lighting is horrible including the room lighting. The only major trouble I ran into was valet parking! My car wasn’t able to be found. After about 30 mins it was solved. But over all I give the stay a 7/10

SUCH a good location!!! Waking distance from literally everything you’d want to see in NOLA. The staff goes above and beyond even the valet! The bed is insanely comfy which is for sure important after a long day of walking around! And ugh omg the restaurants in the hotel are to die for as well. Those crawfish beignets at KING were a highlight of the trip!! Loved our stay!
