Great stay.

Gosh, what a disappointment. When we checked in we were passed around to different people, ignored while others pushed in and eventually got checked in to a room that was substandard to the one we booked. When we enquired as to moving rooms we were told there were none available. We specifically booked this hotel as it had a washing machine in the room and we were tight on time with one night in Shanghai, yet there was no washing machine in the room. So we had to waste time waiting in the laundry room for washing to finish so we could collect it before leaving. The room was much smaller than the pictures with no space, one chair at the table, even though it was booked for two people. We didn’t want to eat on the bed so had to go out, completely removing the requirement for a kitchen, again, another reason we booked here. The only positive is the location, which is excellent. Otherwise, the staff are chaotic, the rooms are not as described, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Really like this hotel because of its close distance to subways and tourists areas. Receptionist is helpful. Room is clean and large. Right in downtown area but it’s quiet and peaceful. Price is okay for area. Will stay again next time.

Fantastic location near people's square metro, around the corner of nanjing road, cafes, local restaurants and half hour walk to the bund. The staff was friendly and fluent in english. Great choice and we would come back any time.

The property is just minutes away from Nanjing Road pedestrian mall, People’s Square subway station, and Dashijie or Great World. There are dozens of restaurants in walking distance and you can have so many choices for meals. The People’ Square station has three subway lines including Line 1, Line 2 and Line 8. At the ground level, there are at least a dozen of bus lines in the walking distance that connect you to every direction of the city. The hotel is a bit noisy considering it is at the corner of Beijing Road and Xizang Road interaction, two major avenues of downtown Shanghai. But if you ask for a room in a higher level, you won’t be bothered much of the traffic noise. The room is very clean and spacious. There is a small kitchen with a refrigerator, an cook top，and a set of cooking ware and dining ware for two people. I lived in a studio room and it didn’t have a washer and dryer combo, but I could still go down to a laundry room to do the laundry and pretty much didn’t have to wait for an empty unit. The staff were very nice and represented to the requests quickly. Overall, it is a very good place to stay in downtown Shanghai and I highly recommend it.

This hotel is so close to the East Nanjing Rd and the metro station…the staff are friendly and helpful. The reasons I didn’t give the full five stars are you can‘t control the A/C temperature in the room and it’s too warm in the bedroom. Also the water temperature in the shower kept going down while we were taking the shower.

Note the first time staying in this hotel, as perfect as always, will stay here again next time.

Good location and the suite is excellent condition

Great location and the room was amazing. It's a shame that they are renovating the reception as it was a bit of a walk with big luggage checking in a very corner of a floor. Not all of the staff are able to communicate in English.

Like this Residence very much. It is located at the center of Shanghai. The apartment has a kitchen for family cooking. The breakfast is wonderful. I will stay there next time.

We stayed at this hotel for about two weeks. We found that they were doing a great job for their hotel guests. The front desk staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room has all facilities for the guests. The location is excellent. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and we would certainly come to stay here again when we visit Shanghai next time!

I enjoyed this place so much that I booked an additional night at the Green Court Residence on the last night of my trip. I stayed in two different rooms, and each room was relaxing and spacious. I enjoyed all the cabinet space, the kitchens in both rooms, the vanity mirror, and the overall design of the rooms. The hotel is in walking distance to the Bund and Nanjing Road, and I felt safe to walk around the area. There are also plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores right around the corner. I will definitely stay here again.

Quiet, clean, nice location.

It was just decent stay here with my experience. The place was a bit dated and the service was okay. The breakfast was nice but just an average of all other places. I wish it had a shanghai special but not. It was just decent place in a convenient location. The bed was comfortable.

The place is really good, I always come back because of the location and as well I like the place. maybe the receptionist has to improve as they do not change money, as well their English is not the best.

Very convenient to the local attraction areas. People are friendly and very helpful.
