Old medieval building but smart and modern rooms

Very comfortable en suite room. Charming hotel with a quite nice restaurant and pub. Amazing large free breakfast. Staff were all delightful. So nice that we have already booked a return visit.

Very popular with the locals, an olde world setting. Bedroom was adequate. TV could have been a little larger. Shower thermostat was faulty.

Comfortable stay with very pleasant host, bar and restaurant team. Bathroom could do with a spruce up on the tiles, and noisy toilets in other rooms woke me up at night but all other facilities were good.

The property is a piece of english history originally built in the 14th century, it oozes character and charm and is full of original timbers and features. Lovely and clean room, lovely staff, whats not to like. We will definitely be back.

We had a brilliant time at Sun Inn. The room was perfect, the food excellent and plentiful and the staff just couldn't have been better. Faversham is a brilliant village where everyone is friendly and where you'll be surrounded by wonderful old buildings.

Really great venue. Room was very impressive and spacious. Friendly greeting, good quality breakfast and of course great Shepherd Neame beer. Would highly recommend for a stay in Faversham

Characterful medeival buildings nicely converted into pub / restaurant / hotel right in centre of Faversham. Rooms have character preserved but with modern feeling too. Friendly helpful staff. Good chpices on food menu too.

We had a very nice stay at the Sun Inn and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful .The only issue was the parking due to the lack of long stay car park in Faversham! The breakfast was very good and plenty of choice with a nice hot plate that pleased my wife very much! We hope to return in the near future

The staff and accommodation was fine. The internet (which everyone uses pleasure and more so business) was really poor. That’s the only issue I had. Improve the Wi-Fi and 👍👍👍

This is a great place to stay in the heart of the historic centre. We had a superior room which was spacious and comfortable and full of charm. The restaurant was very good and the bar area also charming. The only slight negative was the wifi which was intermittent.

Huge family room. Pull out bed was not very comfy and the room was very hot but there were 2 fans. Staff very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was very high. In fact we ate at a Michelin starred restaurant last night in France and we all preferred our meal at the Sun. The surrounding high street and area is a bit run down and a bit shoddy but that’s nothing to do with the pub

A fabulously historic property in the centre of lovely Faversham. Thank you to the whole team at The Sun Inn for making this such a memorable two night stay. Despite being early for check in the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, offering us a drink and taking our heavier luggage into safe storage. Our booking had been for a double room on the first evening and a twin on the second. Ideally we wanted a twin room for both nights and having explained this to the manager he promptly offered to swop us into the same twin room on both nights. This made life so much easier and was much appreciated. Overall the staff could not do enough to make our stay a pleasurable one, anticipating our needs and ensuring those needs were accommodated. The room was large and very clean, the breakfast excellent and the roasted lamb in the evening was delicious and of high quality. Faversham is a delight, simply gorgeous and well worth a visit. If you are visiting then you will not do better than to stay at The Sun Inn, they will look after you and ensure you a memorable visit.

The Sun Inn is a charming pub in a very lovely area. Our room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. The ceilings are low and there was a low hanging light and shade that we kept walking into. A shade flush to the ceiling would have been better. The only part that was less than satisfactory for me was the state of the entryway outside one of the kitchens and leading to the stairs to the bedrooms which seemed unhygienic - sticky and not too clean. I think tiles would be easier to clean in such a busy through way. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you

Great place to stay when in Faversham. Cosy, stylish comfy rooms. Great breakfast which was included in the price. Good value for money.

Lovely room, friendly and very helpful staff and great service. Only comment would be for the kitchen to stock some GF bread as its absence meant a very limited breakfast choice!

Welcomed on arrival and shown to our room. Very spacious and comfortable. Staff are approachable and engaging. Lovely atmosphere and great food.

Proper village / small town public house with great rooms.... Didn't try the restaurant or food for dinner as booked elsewhere... Local parking overnight for £6 a day within a 100 yards walking distance.... Breakfast and service was on point.... Great selection of local Shepherd Neame beers...
