Compared to the other accommodation available in the area, the silverfjord was good value.

It wasnt overly expensive so expectations were low. Arrived at around 9pm and not surprisingly kitchen closed. Breakfast was only 9 to 10.30 and had to be ordered the night before so that also didnt work for us and it was clear there was no other options. Worst part was the mattress, it was shot! No support at all and I got very little sleep as I couldn't get comfortable. Not expensive to replace a mattress and is a key element for a good nights sleep.

After a day in the hills and 2 nights camping was a decent meal, comfortable bed and a nice shower for good price

It was a lovely spacious room. Very comfortable. That was exactly what we required. We didn't eat there, but the bar looked great.

This property is not suited for couples that have trouble climbing stairs. The rooms are small and old. The only thing good was the food

Accommodated a very late check in a friendly and obliging manner. Property basic but very clean, warm and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Ideally located for my purposes. Room didn't have en suite facilities, though it was perfectly adequate and comfortable. Dinner was good, as was breakfast which was prepared specially for me for my early departure.

Clean, basic accommodation with friendly staff. But very expensive for was it was.

The place is a good option for those on a budget. The bed was not super comfortable, the key was quite confusing, and there was no one to give the key to in the morning so we left it on the front counter.

It was a lovely room. Very clean and in a great area.

Unpretentious, clean and comfortable hotel. Friendly staff. Well situated for access to Kingussie facilities and surrounds. A good bar and food: no need to look elsewhere for a decent dinner or breakfast. Well priced for a three star and certainly good value. A good base for visiting the area; next time I'm visiting Strathspey this hotel will be top of my booking check-list.

I had difficulty finding the hotel bases on information from Expedia. Their telephone number was also listed incorrectly making it very difficulty to get exact location. It was central to the town but not what was listed in Expedia. The room was small but very clean and it had a very cozy feel. The shared bath was fine. The hotel was a little loud in the morning because of the train but all in all, I thought it was a deal and I would stay there again.

My room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Really liked the late breakfast time. Breakfast was fairly basic but was as you would expect for the price paid which was really reasonable. Bacon was really good.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room comfortable. Not much choice of places to eat in Kingussie. Silverfjord's evening meals were very good but expensive (£13 for a burger)

Good overnight stay from our day out at the Highland Wildlife Park. Good location for scenery and relaxing walks. Excellent food at the restaurant for diner. Cleanliness was good. Comfortable bed.

Have stayed previously and as before the overall experience was excellent with friendly staff & locals along with excellent food.Looking froward to the next time.

This is the second time we've been here this year and it was as good as we remember. Will return again, probably nearer to Christmas.

This is the second time we've been here and both times have really enjoyed our stay with comfortable accomodation, good food and pleasant surroundings. The only fly in the ointment was the weather which couldn't be helped but didn't detract too much from our enjoyment. Would readily recommend this well appointed, affordable hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here apart from going down at 9:30am for breakfast to be told they had stopped serving. There were people in the kitchen, so they could surely have rusled up a bacon sandwich, but we were told we couldn't get any. We weren't told what time breakfast was supposed to be either. On the plus side, the room was very nice, had a nice bay window looking over a little stream, was clean and comforable. The double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together, but it wasn't a problem. We had an evening meal which was excellent. The staff were very plesant.
