Good weekend in Southbourne. Room very nice and pub excellent.

Location was fabulous.Walked to Bournemouth,Christchurch,Southbourne shops and Hingisbury head.

Room is very compact and far too hot in the evening with only a tiny window to open making a good nights sleep impossible. Room was clean but found a used condom in the bin. No hot water for a shower on last day. Very friendly helpful staff

Hotel ok for our requirements. Staff helpful. Food below average. No hot water on Sunday morning and cold shower just before checkout not acceptable. Average hotel and not good value as breakfast extra but cannot daily the staff for trying very hard.

Clean, decent location and polite friendly staff. Adhering to Covid rules.

Perfect location. Friendly staff. Nice clean basic room (recently refurbished). An older building and common areas rather faded. Good value for money.

Hotel and staff where great Location good for beach and plenty of parking. Pub did good food and a good selection of beers and drinks Lots of stairs to room and even though good value the rooms could have a little TLC, but can’t knock how clean the room was and how fresh the bedding was. Live music down in bed but not heard in the room Great staff team that made you feel welcome. Would stay there again 👍😃

Bedroom was very much needing redecoration definitely the worst room I have ever stayed in could not recommend room 3 to anyone Surprisingly the bed was very comfortable and the bed linen was very clean and fresh .

Room was terrible, no lift, awful bathroom, breakfast was inedible, how do you mess up a bacon sandwich, abd9lutely would not go back.

Arrived had to wait awhile to be checked in. Very narrow twisting stairs to bedrooms anybody with mobility problems would struggle, went to room surprised that the two beds where on opposites of the room, the shower was small and the bathroom light continually flickered, both small windows in the room were broken so could not be closed correctly. All of the issues that are listed above have been mention it other reviews but obviously no action has been taken by the brewery/property management which to say the least is extremely disappointing.

Breakfast was a shambles. The staff were disinterested, the buffet table was half empty and there was no fresh coffee, only instant. I had to ask for more plates, milk and orange juice. The full English breakfast was OK but not great. In summary, I had a poor overnight experience at this pub/hotel, it represented poor value for money and I would not recommend it to others wishing to stay in the Boscombe/Bournemouth area.

Great place, clean and very friendly, cozy room :-) I must mention Kat (I believe she was the manager) she was so friendly (lovely smile) and nothing was too much trouble, made us feel very welcome. Waitress was very friendly too. Will stay again because of them. good location. Thank you :-)

Lovely near the beach. Was able to access when we got back from a party at 1am so no curfew. Very simple ammendities but all very clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower was surprisingly good. Overall very pleased. Good value for money.

Although the decor is a bit tired the room was clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. Good live band on the Friday night, good selection of beers and the food, especially the breakfast more than adequate. Overall would stay there again and would recommend it as a value for money BnB.
