The property is a clean, cozy and functional spot near the ocean, in the charming city of Montara. The people and the alpacas are friendly, and the hiking nearby is just wonderful.

Great location, excellent walking paths, great landscaping and fun at Halloween. Our dogs enjoyed the yard, walking the trails and checking out the alpaca’s across the street.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. This cottage is quiet and clean and has a great fenced yard. It also has a spacious kitchen with plenty of pots and pans. A perfect place for a getaway! We would gladly stay here again.

It was my first time in California and my husband and I had an amazing time in Montara. The house was clean and extremely well equipped. We cooked great meals on the BBQ, walked to the beach, enjoyed the local restaurants and had great day trips to Big Sur and San Francisco. This house is a gem and we will be back!

We were visiting because our daughter who lives locally had a new baby. We loved this beautiful house! They did such an amazing job equipping the house, and the decor was stellar. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Cute property that is definitely worth staying at. The alpacas are a plus and everyone enjoyed them. Location is nice too as thefe are plenty of food options and the beach is close by as well.

Beautiful little stand-alone house in Montara! We loved the beautiful neighborhood, with a community garden right next to the alpaca farm (loved the alpacas also!) Quick drive to Half Moon Bay for shopping and restaurants, 2-minute drive to Montara State Beach. 10-15 minutes from other beaches. The home was exactly as described, and the check-in and check-out processes were simple. I had no occasion to have to contact the host. My favorite place of all the places I've stayed in Montara so far!

It's a beautiful, super clean house in a very nice neighborhood! When we come to San Francisco again we'll definitely stay again!

This whole experience was amazing. My wife and two boys (16 & 12) had all the space we needed, along with our dog! We had family staying in half moon bay at the ritz Carlton, but this was an affordable alternative just a few minutes away! We used the full kitchen to cook a huge breakfast, and went on a hike on the trail just short walk down the road. We brought some sandwiches and had a picnic in a clearing on the trail with a stunning view. The backyard is a nice little oasis with string lights & beautiful green grass. And right out the front door is an Alpaca farm! You can walk right up to the fence and sit on the little bench and watch them graze, or watch them from the rocking chairs on the front porch. We will definitely be staying here again!

We LOVED our stay. The property is adorable, well maintained and well stocked. It is in a lovely and quiet location. Our favorite part was sitting in the front porch watching the alpacas and enjoying the ocean view. Communication was outstanding. There was a major storm while we were there and they made a point of letting us know there was a generator they would start for us. Beyond 5 stars!
