Great spot. Magnificent views. Lots for our family to keep busy

Lily’s house is very spacious, nicely appointed and has nice extras (eg, pool, hot tub, tennis court). Family of 10 (3 generations) had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were a family of 14 (ages 2-70 years) traveling to celebrate a milestone birthday. The best part of the house is the stunning view. Lily was very attentive and prompt in her responses. The house was clean, and creatively decorated. All in all a great property in West Vancouver -conveniently located to major attractions within 20 minutes.

Family of 15 ranging in age from 10 to 76 and we all loved our stay. Tennis, swimming or relaxing with the view in the from patio, was a fantastic experience. Lily was a communicative host and very responsive… we will return!

Our family absolutely loved staying at this mansion! The grounds & landscape were beautiful. We loved swimming in the pool & sitting in the hot tub overlooking the ocean during sunset. The interior of the mansion was exquisite! It looked like it was featured in a magazine. The large kitchen & dining room table were massive & perfect for our large family. There were plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms for everyone. The owners were very nice & easy to communicate with. Staying at this beautiful home made our whole vacation. We recommend it to everyone.

The property was not worth 3K per night. When we first arrived, the host greeted us. However, it soon turned into a lecture of what we couldn’t do. It was not a friendly vibe. A number of things in the property was outdated: old towels, sauna and hot tubs didn’t work, the toilet in the master bedroom barely flushed. We had to clean the swimming pool ourselves, which had a ton of dead bugs floating on top. In the evening, the host was coming home, and needed to inconvenience us to move our cars, while already in our sleepwear. In the morning, we woke up to a man gardening in the back yard, which felt odd as he could have waited until we left at 10am to do his gardening work. We ended the stay with the host calling us six minutes before check out, to remind us that our check out time was 10:00. Though there were a few positives, including a stunning view, comfortable mattress, spacious rooms. The lack of hospitality of the host and lack of attention to fine details, definitely made the stay not worth the 3K we paid.

It is a gorgeous property with outrageous views. Would absolutely book again!

It’s all about the amazing views, especially enjoyed from the hot tub. The host, Lily, is lovely and responded to texts instantly using a translator app. She lives in the lower floor of the property. Seeing the enormous dining room (for 14) and kitchen, had planned to be cooking but the kitchen wasn’t equipped for a large dinner - small ovens, few tools. Also, with windows and doors closed (per rules) the house got stuffy and warm in the afternoon and it seemed that the HVAC was disabled (thermostats didn’t do anything). As you can see from the photos, the furnishings are incredibly ornate, not a place where you’ll kick back and put your feet up. And note that one of the bedrooms does not have an en suite bathroom. The driveway is steep and not for the faint of heart, we mostly parked on the street. As the posting says, very close and convenient to many attractions.
