This Hotel is nice and have a sauna. Have a little sala as a bar . And a restaurant where they serve the breakfast. We just stayed one night arriving at 15pm and leaving after wearing up to see Matterhorn . Room was OK . We would like to have a kind gesture for the personal knowing that we payed for an upgrade and there is restructuring construction works I the building in front of our terrace. Terrace that was cloudly so no view Matterhorn . Besides this in the morning We have just two coffes because there were only tea in the room and the charge ua for the coffee. It was really surprising. No views// noise // no coffe in the room (230€/night) and they charging coffee . The economic room the bathroom no good .. that why we payed upgrade … better noise than small bathroom.

We had a really nice stay at the Hotel Ambience, it had lovely staff (it was a small team as it was off-season, but they were really kind and helpful). The rooms were comfy, breakfast was great, and we really enjoyed having a relaxed drink on their terrace with a view of the Matterhorn.

I loved this hotel! I asked ahead of time for gluten free breakfast options and they purchased rolls especially for me. They also arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the train on the day we arrived. Our rooms had spectacular views of the Matterhorn with great balconies to relax in. They stored our suitcases on the last day so we were free to roam until train time. Great service, great hotel!

Loved it… terrific views of all the surrounding mountains and of course the Matterhorn.. small and cozy, but with all the services, still walking distance from downtown and the trains, and the staff very helpful with hiking suggestions and other recommendations.

Very much enjoyed our stay here. Very pleasant and very reasonably priced in the grand scheme of Zermatt. Breakfast is good and a conveniently located hotel within walking distance to the town centre and 5mins walk to the Sunegger lift.

Everything about this hotel, from check-in to departure was easy, uncomplicated and friendly. The staff were so welcoming, my room was cozy, and overlooking "The Matterhorn" Pet friendly, clean, and great location! I will not look elsewhere when I return!

Overall, it was a pleasant and beautiful stay. There was only one dissatisfaction with the manager on night duty on our first day. Who did not handle the hotel smoke alarm system issue well at first and blamed the guests without identifying actual root cause. Thanks to the men who assisted as we needed to rest early after a long day of traveling. Lovely receptionist on our check-in with amazing customer experience. Can’t recall her name.

Gem of a hotel with service and amenities better than your average 5 start hotel. Very simple / basic rooms, but fantastic staff, amazing breakfast, excellent 30minute slots booking system of the outside jacuzzi with view of the Matterhorn and the sauna so they are in fact private. Drinks served in the hot tub etc etc etc. Just really amazing. And location is good.

The view of Matterhorn from my room was superb. Room is clean. The receptionist who attended to us was very helpful. Breakfast was good

good hotel within 15 mins walks from the main market / train station. Room were good size and very clean. There was no air conditioning but the weather was cold during night. I wonder if it becomes too hot during summer season. Staff was very polite and cooperative.

The hotel was very unwelcoming. We arrived at 2. Were told that the check-in time was 4pm, which was fine. Then was told that one of the rooms were ready. We could get that room, but had to pay an extra CHF 20. Never ever did a hotel ask for money for a room I had booked and was ready early. Then we were looking to top up on water. There was a bar area in the lobby which was empty and the bar was closed. I went to the tap at the bar and was filling a bottle when the lady from the reception came and started yelling, askin "what are you doing there". It was rude and impolite. The rest of the stay was okay. But the start was bad and can't recommend the hotel, given the way they treat guests.

Pros: good central location; very good continental breakfast; wifi good Cons: as in all the swiss hotels we stayed in there was no possibility to make tea/coffee in the room
