Everything about our stay was absolutely exceptional and exceeded our expectations. The staff was amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. They went above and beyond anything we would have ever imagined to make our stay enjoyable and incredibly memorable. They were very flexible and extremely friendly. They had very great recommendations and were very familiar with the town and the tours. The view was breathtaking, one of a kind. It was incredibly relaxing with the bathtub and rainfall outdoor shower. The resort was very clean and easy to access all of the amenities. The room was absolutely stunning. The resort was built with every detail in mind and was an incredible value. I would recommend this resort to anyone with family or just wanting a romantic getaway. The food was amazing and the pool was picture perfect. They were willing to accommodate our special diet, and their customer service was over the top. Offered a private secluded vacation with the convenience of town and all of the amenities. The value is absolutely amazing, you will never regret staying here. We are already planning our trip for next year.

Amazing view from the top, great service and staff!
The A frame loft (lumbung 2) was perfect for the 4 of us. It is one of the newer units.
Wifi, netflix, transportation service, food, in room massage ... just fantastic!
It does require a bit of effort to walk uphill. Good for cardio but may be a negative for some. Also , hand rails could be installed in certain areas to prevent accidental falls.

The villas are wonderful, spacious, and well decorated. The pool and restaurant are great with awesome views. Resort is located at the top of the hills and there's an ongoing road construction, but as long as you coordinate your arrival, they'll pick you up from the main road. Great stay overall.

Best place to stay at El Nido!! Staff was helpful attentive. Transportation shuttle was very flexible. Housekeeping made sure our villa was clean and pool was clean as well. Restaurant has so many options it was hard to go eat at other places outside the resort.

Karuna has the most majestic views! It is perched on the side of the mountain. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are very attentive and helpful. They are very quick to assist with excursions and ride to town. They have an infinity pool that has a great view and a restaurant next to it. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Shower is outdoor overlooking the water. Inactive seniors, disabled and families with small children need caution because of uphill terrain and stairs. We didn’t have any issues as those situations didn’t apply to us. Special thank you to Ellen for all your help coordinating our rides and giving us information about the resort. Thank you Karuna for the wonderful time at your resort!

Wonderful villa with a magnificent view. Very near to vanilla beach.Tricycles are dangerous for children especially at
this hilly road and they can not
climb thw hotel's road. They have a hammock, 2 sunbeds, a table and chairs. Bathroom with shower is open air and nice. We loved the villa.

Karuna Villa made our first visit to El Nido a very pleasant vacation. Staff was super friendly and helpful with all our questions and needs. They were very responsive when requesting transportation to and from downtown El Nido or closer destinations. Our Joglo was roomy and comfortable enough for our family of 5. The view of the bay was amazing especially during sunsets. I would recommend staying in Joglo 2 since it is right in the middle of the main office and restaurant/pool. Karuna was a great place to stay and would recommend it for anyone visiting El Nido.

Staff service is awesome, Sarifa, Julieann and Lester at the Reception Area, Benjie the driver and Ellen at the restaurant, all gave an excellent service. They are gem in this incredible place called Karuna.

The hotel is up to the hill that required u to take hotel pick up service as tuktuk cannot go up. However, it did not affect our experience there. The hotel respond to our request on WhatsApp very quickly. They even set up a bbq station at our roof top that we can buy seafood and meat in the public market in a very cheap price and enjoy our bbq at our rooftop. The breakfast is good too, a lot of options and good quality

We were at the pool area enjoying our food and the bottle we bought when the shareholder came to nag at us and when we tried to let her know we wanted to let her know about the transportation experience she was getting loud that other guests can hear our conversation and she kept talking over us. Overall the front desk, drivers, bartenders, servers and other staff of the property were welcoming and kind. The shareholder made us feel very unwanted.

The only issue we had was that our air conditioning did not work. We mentioned it a few times to the staff and they said they checked it, but our room wouldn't get below 80 degrees F and the staff did not have solutions for us. Our family was in another suite and we know their air conditioning worked very well, so the issue was specific to our room.

Very nice place with picturesque views of the bay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Lester worked very hard to find us a private boat tour of the islands last minute. (If you arrive after 5pm ask them to set up a tour before you get there). We almost missed the best day with no rain for the tour but Lester came through in the clutch. Not much to complain about except the lounge chairs on the patio had stains. Needs a little cleaner sprayed on them. Everywhere you want to go on the resort is either uphill or downhill. It’s not that hard to manage but if you are old or disabled you might look elsewhere. All in all it is a great place with wonderful views and services. Tip: Building 4&5 are situated the highest with best views.
