This family-run bed and breakfast hotel is located directly on the Moselle with a view of the Reichsburg castle. It is just a 10-minute walk along the Moselle promenade from the historic old town centre of Cochem.

Wir haben ein langes Wochenende vom 03.10. bis zum 06.10. in Cochem verbracht.
Ich persönlich achte sehr auf Sauberkeit und dafür gebe ich dem Hotel 5 Sterne! Aber auch für alles andere, tolle Lage, unkompliziertes check in und check out, Parkplätze (7,- p. Auto) am Hotel, sehr gutes Frühstück in einem sehr schönen Frühstücksraum, sehr freundliches und höfliches Personal, typisches und schönes Gebäude (nachts wunderschön beleuchtet), Zimmer wurden täglich (sogar am Sonntag!) gereinigt, es war nachts ruhig.
Wir sind oft an der Mosel, in diesem Hotel zum ersten Mal aber wir kommen bestimmt wieder ins alte Winzerhaus.
Wir fanden nichts auszusetzen.

Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und sehr lecker, es war für jeden etwas dabei. Die Lage ist etwa 20 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt und somit auch sehr ruhig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gab einen Fahrradkeller, in dem auch die Fahrräder direkt geladen werden konnten.

Das Personal sehr nett und alles extrem sauber. Das Restaurant sehr schön eingerichtet! Das Zimmer funktional und nett eingerichtet. Die Betten prima. Alles sehr liebevoll hergerichtet. Fahrradkeller vorhanden und Parken auch gut.
Es war alles prima. Es gab keinen Fahrstuhl und die Koffer nach oben zu schleppen war etwas mühsam, aber zu schaffen.
Der Blick aus dem Zimmer nicht so schön, da das Haupthaus davor stand. Das war schade und hätten wir gerne vorher gewusst. Aber auch kein Grund das Hotel nicht zu buchen. Man sollte es nur vorher abklären wie die Sicht ist.

maybe the best hotel I've ever been to and I travel quite a bit. great staff, comfortable beds, beautiful understated decor, fantastic shower pressure, the best breakfast spread I've ever had at a hotel and gummy bears on your pillow. I wouldn't change a thing and I might plan another trip back just to stay here again. 5 star resorts could learn from the Altes Winzerhaus

Kamer ruim, met tv, koelkast en heerlijke bedden. Alles zeer schoon en netjes evenals de badkamer met wc en douche. Zelfs een groot balkon met 2 ligbedden. Ontbijt zeer uitgebreid, heerlijk, perfect verzorgd. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Het weer had ietsje beter mogen zijn.

Claudia was an exceptional host, with really good English. Always ready to do whatever she could to improve our stay. We left early on our last day, and she had prepared a really good breakfast bag to take with us.
Breakfasts were great throughout our stay.
Just a pleasant 15-20 minute walk along the riverbank to the centre of town.
The bathroom was a bit small, though it was perfectly clean and modern, and had all that was needed.
Being a back room, the view wasn't great, but we only used the room for sleeping in, so not a problem.
Really, there was nothing to fault.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable beds, on site parking, and excellent breakfast. Owner was so nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

No manned reception after 6pm but this was communicated clearly and in a very friendly manner in advance. Clear instructions received in advance about how to retrieve key for car parking and key for room. All worked out as described without fault upon arrival at 7pm. Comfortable and quiet room. Hotel is within comfortable walking distance of the centre of Cochem. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. No problem with delaying check-out until 12 noon.

The room was very spacious with nice modern amenities, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The building looks traditional and is very cute, the breakfast room overlooks the river and offers a great view. The breakfast is very rich and with fresh croissants, bread, many different cheese types and fresh fruit. The personnel is extremely nice and helpful and we really felt well taken care of. Nice plus: we could check-in earlier and chocolate was available in the hall in the evening. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone!

A great stay, the hotel was immaculate and had lots of personal touches that made you feel at home. You could see the pride of ownership. The room was comfy and exceptionally clean. Claudia at the front desk was fantastic, she was so friendly and kind and answered every question. We walked into town along the Mosel River and there is a grocery store next door. The breakfast was great with all the options you could want. Highly recommend this hotel.

The property was very convenient, staff super helpful and friendly and the breakfast was fresh with a lot of variety. A grocery located right next door was helpful for buying water and snacks and such an easy (1km) walk into the central town.
At night, the property felt far from restaurants and services and so that was when the location felt less convenient.

Having to pay for parking space seem like a ripoff because its hotel own parking also parking seem to be free behind the hotel bilding because there is a supermarkt call Lidl.

great breakfast, great views, really helpful staff (gave local food recommendations), comfortable beds, very clean, handy little supermarket next door! Animal park (with a surprise waterpark attached) was a great day out. Cochem schwimmbad was great for the kids!
