The location is in the hear of UofA - as close to the venue as possible, walking distance 5 minutes max. The most affordable accommodation at UofA I should say. All-you-can-eat in the same building at a very affordable price and lots of other food options around. Large rooms which are 3*+ IMHO with the fridge and great toiletries. Comfortable beds, medium-size TV... what else one might want?

I'm okay with that, but some might find the iron doors and physical keys (including one for the entrance into the hotel area after hours) a bit of a dorm-style. Weekend nights you have to show your key at the entrance since there is some sort of paid events for the students which they are trying to sneak to without paying, etc. That said the rooms are 3*+ at least, so it's just an interesting flavour for me, and FYI if you are a snob - there is no bell boy here, sorry ;-)

The staff were all fantastic! Especially the dining hall staff!
