I had a hole in the bedspread and there was a hole on the bathroom door

Everything if I would’ve known that the place needed so much renovations to it it was in a bad neighborhood I would never book this. We were just looking for a stop over before moving on but it was very sketchy area and we waited outside for 5 to 7 minutes before we were even let in to check in.

It's just a bit run down and not in a great area, but the owners were friendly and they took care of the rooms. It was sufficient for wat I needed which was a place to crash after a concert. Another bonus was heavy water flow in shower and even the toilet was super powered. The air conditioner also seemed super powered, my room got really cold, which I really appreciate.

I stayed here before going on a camping trip. I was able to walk with all my gear from Amtrak and then on to the car rental location. For me, the location was a plus and I was not afraid of the neighborhood. Most of the people living there were friendly and fun. The neighborhood is lower income but the night I was there it was quiet and restful outside. The best part of my stay was the Jamaican restaurant next to the hotel. This food is simply wonderful and dining in or doing take out is an option. There were several other excellent restaurants close by.

To be expected, the facilities needs some updating. I was disappointed that there was not coffee available, either in the room or in the lobby. Several walkable coffee places did not open until 8 a.m. which is usually when I start thinking about lunch.

Good location for my trip.

The lock didn't work on the door and I was given grief, not resolve on all three nights I stayed there.. Lied to about fixing it. Had to bang iny the office door several times and told tp go away until I waved the key. The room look liked it had a blood stain on the floor. Curtain wouldnt shut tight. The bed had a rip in it. No outletnear the bed. I had to shake the toilet handle to get it to stop running.
