From start to finish this was a terrific experience. From the first email, the owner, Oscar, communicated quickly and helpfully, and in person is utterly charming. The villa is superb. Traditionally furnished, it is immaculately clean and fresh, with welcome drinks, fruit , coffee and water - such boon when you are tired from travelling! The outside spaces are fantastic - thoughtfully designed so that there is a sunny or shady spot to sit in at all times of the day. There are so many lovely extras, that it would take almost the whole review to describe them, but the bathrooms - particularly the master bathroom - are wonderful, and the towels big and fluffy... 5 star hotel quality. The beds were all very comfortable, with a change of sheets provided. We have rented many villas in Tenerife and Lanzarote, and this is easily the best. It really felt like a home from home for us, and we have already booked a return visit and recommended it to our friends.

Everything is more than perfect in this villa. It is exactly like the pictures and something really has been done to make everything look in the best order. We loved the outdoor furniture and spent most of all days by the pool and the unique sun lounger. It is quiet and peaceful yet only a 15-20 minute walk into town and restaurants. We went to the supermarket every morning to buy fresh bread. Note that there are no adjoining bathrooms for the bedrooms, but since we were only a single couple, this was no problem. Oscar was the perfect host and we got both wine and pastries, as well as a thorough walk-through of the villa on arrival. We can only give our warmest recommendations for this villa.

The property was excellent as were the gardens and facilities! The owner Oscar was brilliant, very helpful and friendly. My only minor comments are the hot water took just a bit of time to come through, but when it did it was hot.

He even showed us were the local supermarket was! It had everything, bikes and a jacuzzi, to bbq charcoal and washing up liquid and not forgetting the wine and fruit on arrival!! It catered for both adults and teenagers perfectly. I would definitely recommend, not only because of the high class accommodation but also the personal service you get from Oscar, you won’t be disappointed

The pictures don't fully reflect what a nice villa this is. It has everything you need. Very clean. Lots of additional unadvertised extras from the owner. Oscar was very helpful. I've stayed in a few villas in Lanazarote and this is up at the top of the list. Would go back and would definitely recommend.

This villa is absolute perfection, perfect location, everything you could possibly wish for and more in a holiday villa. Our every need was catered for and we enjoyed a beautiful week at this stunning property. Oscar is a top guy, and goes above and beyond for your every need. The Delfin villa is just fantastic for a family holiday. Three super comfortable bedrooms together with the pool & loungers, jacuzzi, connected TV's and games make it a luxurious place to relax. The location is great, 15 mins walk to 'town', a short drive to Papagaya beaches. Oscar welcomed us and had arranged some lovely treats at the villa which were much appreciated. He accommodated a couple of our requests which again was a great help. Thoroughly recommended.

We have been coming to Playa Blanca for 25 years and believe me this villa is simply the best. Oscar the owner has the most beautiful villa you can imagine. Pool fantastic, kids pool. Villa has everything from fantastic kitchen, lounge, three bedrooms, smart tv, Xbox, air conditioning etc.etc Oscar is the perfect owner. Villa delfin is perfect, near town but in a very quiet location. Both the villa & grounds are spacious, really well looked after. Oscar the owner was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It was a real pleasure to stay here & enjoy the comfort & excellent facilities provided. Already planning our next stay! Thankyou Oscar.

This is truly a villa designed with thought and care- it was extremely clean a d had everything and more than expected in a holiday villa . My husband and I spent a week with my daughter son in law and grandchdren aged r and 5 .Oscar the owner went about everything and beyond to make our stay a.amazing from wine and fruit on arrival and even appropriate robes for the children!! I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here there is a lovely town by the Sea with good restaurants and shops and a lovely Marina all a 15 min walk. We loved it so much we have already booked a week next September!

Just back from a 2 week break to this amazing villa. Oscar was so welcoming and helpfull and the villa has everything you would need for your stay. From a welcome bottle of wine and fruit to dressing gowns for the kids, even tailored to their ages. I cannot recommend this villa high enough. Oscar was there to greet us, and take us to the shopping centre, waiting for us to shop and return back. The pool is cleaned regularly, and you wont even know oscar has been. Plentyfull supply of towels, kitchen equipment, glasses etc. An absolutely fantastic break. Thank you once again Oscar for your hospitality.

We stayed at villa delfin for 2 weeks and we're delighted with the quality of the villa, the pools and the facilities here. it is very clean and there is everything that you would need, we were so impressed. We stayed with our 3 year old daughter and some friends and there was more than enough room for us. Also there were pool inflatables so my daughter was very happy! Oscar made our stay so comfortable, he is so helpful. As we were landing late he went and bought some food and water. Also our flight home was late in the afternoon and as there were no guest arriving until the next day Oscar let us stay until we were picked up which made our last day so much more relaxing. The villa is around 15 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Unless you are thinking of exploring the island you really don't need a car as a taxi to and from town will cost you around 3 euros. A visit to the marina is a must and we found the whole of playa blanca to be a lovely resort. Thank you Oscar for a lovely stay, so sad to leave but am sure we will be back to stay soon.

We were welcomed on our arrival by Oscar, who was more than helpful and gave us a tour of the local area and great recommendations for places to visit. It seemed that nothing would have been too much trouble for him, his personal touches and friendliness made our stay that much more special. The villa is spacious and very comfortable with plenty of private outdoor space to swim, relax or play. Though not on the doorstep, Playa Blanca is a pleasant stroll away with many seafront bars and restaurants. We had a wonderful two week holiday and would definitely recommend this villa to couples or families looking for a peaceful and relaxing break.

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Villa Delfin with our 3 children. The villa was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, very well equipped with everything we needed and Oscar the owner made the stay all the more perfect by adding personal touches throughout our stay and was always available for any help you may need. The pool and garden area was also perfect and was regularly cleaned throughout our stay. The villa was well situated in a peaceful location but still within a couple of minutes drive from the main town, although we had a car for the duration of our stay which was beneficial. The Marina Rubicon is a must, with a visit to 'Little Italy' restaurant for a lovely meal or Lani's grill to feed the fish. The Flamingo Beach is much quieter than the Dorada beach with lovely clear water and good beach bars for lunch. Rancho Texas is a great fun night out which we all enjoyed. Overall we have had a fantastic holiday and I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to others. Thank you Oscar!

First off the property is absolutely lovely, everything thought of down to the last detail. Oscar the owner is also fabulous - I nicer gentleman you will not know. During our stay Oscar greeted us personally at the villa (although our flight was quite late arriving). Showed us around the villa and talked through operation of everything left no stone unturned (the Lovely fruit platter with accompanying white wine & the bottle of bubbly preloaded in the ice bucket next to the jacuzzi were awesome touches!) and then as we had arrived late Oscar was kind enough to take us down to the supermarket before it closed to get essential provisions for early the next day (Pointing out all points of interest along the way - even the best place to get ice cream for the kids!). Oscar's help-fullness and generosity did not end here. As hew was aware it was my partners 40th birthday whilst at his villa he dropped off a lovely gift also. Further to this bicycles were provided which was ideal for getting the morning croissants in. Everything in the villa was to a very high standard, Comfortable with a lovely rustic appearance inside, and huge well organised spaces outside to making the entire villa a wonderful place to relax whilst having a feeling of home to it. There is no doubt in our minds as a family that we will visit Oscar again in the future as both the Villa & the owner made our holiday a great one to remember!. You need not look any further. If you are looking for affordable luxury, outstanding cleanliness, superb facilities and a personal touch that goes above and beyond, then Villa Delpin is for you. We have just returned from Villa Delpin and have immediately booked again; it was that impressive! The villa is situated in a quiet residential area; a 20 minute walk into Playa centre or a quick (3-4 euro taxi). It is not overlooked at all and feels extremely safe with the electronic main gate and alarm system, not that safety is something to be concerned about! The outside space is impressively large, as is the inside. What makes this villa different is the personal touch. Fruit, wine, chocolates and a personal welcome from Oscar upon arrival; regular pool cleaning, more wine and chocolates later in the stay and the comfort of knowing you can contact Oscar at any time for anything. For us, it was this that made this holiday stand out above others! Visit Asiatico restaurant for an exquisite meal and The Old Mill Irish bar (Wed/sat has an extraordinary guitarist name Gary......a very funny Gordie Lad). Go to Orzola for amazing scenery and Rubicon Marina and Puerto Del Carmen (old part) for fabulous food also. Two weeks spent here felt far too short. Thank you Oscar and see you next year. Our stay at villa delfin was super! Emailing with Oscar went very good, i had a lot of extra questions before we left and i always got an answer very quickly. When we arrived everything was very clean, there was a botlle of wine in the fridge and lots of fresh fruit on the table. There were maaaany towels to use, also for pool and beach. The outside terrace is fantastic, and so are the 2 pools. Only one litlle remark about the kitchen: no bowls to eat cereals or yoghurt. But that is just a small detail. We enjoyed our stay very much and you can trust Oscar 100%!

We had a great stay of 6 nights in the villa. Before we arrived I emailed a lot with Oscar and he always replied the same day and answered patiently all my questions ;). We were welcomed with a botlle of wine, al lot of fresh fruit and sweets for the kids. During our stay there was a litlle problem with the electricity but when we called he directly came to the villa to help us out and fix the problem. There were toys for the children to play outside and also to take to the beach, there were maaaaaany towels to use, the bed outside was fantastic, the litlle pool was great for our kids (age 3 and 5), and the terrace furniture was very nice. I have only one litlle remark: there are not so many plates and no bowls (for cereals for example). After our stay we left for an other house in the hills, but we were actually very sorry to leave! There was no comparison with villa delfin... Villa Delfin is in a quiet neighbourhood, no noise at all, we didn't see or hear our neighbours. I recommend hiring a car, that's the easiest way to go to the shop and beaches. If you stay in Villa Delfin, you will not regret it! Thanks Oscar for a great stay! Our 2nd visit to this wonderful villa a few improvements if that's possible from our first visit oscar is always looking to make your stay the best ever villa now has a pool table more comfy furniture on the chill terrace and air con planned for all rooms during next year we had wonderful weather and made full use of the beautiful swimming pool looked after so well by oscar the only problem is trying to rebook as it is now so popular we have managed to secure another holiday for sept 2015 it's just a shame we have to wait a hole year to be back at villa delfin again thank you oscar for another lovely stay

Villa Delfin is astonishingly perfect. Where to start with the superlatives?! It is spacious, comfortable, beautifully presented, very clean, well equipped with everything you may need and more (wifi, dishwasher, table football, bbq, beach towels ...) and expertly managed by the extremely helpful owner Oscar. The pools are amazing (and again very clean) and the view of the volcanos is superb. It is also entirely private and the beautiful outside spaces are not overlooked. We would not hesitate to recommend it. Oscar even provided a range of age appropriate toys to keep our 3 and 5 year old entertained in and out of the pool. He also arranged for us to have a room for the day at a nearby hotel at no extra cost when a late checkout was not possible. As our flight was not until the evening this was very much appreciated. Playa Blanca is a lovely place - perfect for kids with safe beaches, a great choice of places to eat and close to places to visit such as the camel station, Rancho Texas and the lava fields etc. We will most definitely be coming back!
