Hidden gem in the center of Uchaud with very friendly hosts. Silent and clean. Typical french breakfast and in the evening a delicious fresh cooked three-course menu. Enough parking places.

Carole, the owner (or one of the owners?) was superb. Service at top level and always with a smile! We had a portable fridge that needed 240 V and we placed in one of their rooms during the night. Breakfast was very good. Another great thing for travelers with a car, is that you enter a private courtyard where your car is 100% secure! Definitely to recommend to all travelers!!

Not much to do in the village. Lot of activities however in surroundings (min 30 minutes drive). A bit more variety in the breakfast would be nice. A pool in the garden would make it a perfect place to stay!

We loved the warm welcome by Carole and her family, and were surprised by the peace and quiet at the hotel. The garden is truly lovely, wide and green with big trees. The air smelled like fresh figs (we were there around end of July) and the room was spacious and comfortable. I strongly advise this hotel for travelling with kids and animals: I was travelling from Italy to Spain with my 3 year old son and a dog puppy, and they both loved the wide spaces and peaceful atmosphere. Furthermore the hotel was lovely to prepare a dinner for my son who has severe food allergies, so that we arrived from a day of car travel and did not need to leave the hotel at all - it was great to have such a good rest to prepare for driving some long hours the following day as well. I really enjoyed staying here and I would be more than happy to come back in the future.

I would have enjoyed some wholemeal toasted bread for breakfast alongside classical baguette - but it is just a small detail, homemade jam and cake were lovely.
