Property is excellent, everything is new and clean, swimming pool is great and also the sauna area. The owner is very nice and helpful. breakfast is excellent too!

This is a beautiful property run by a lovely couple. The rooms are very large, well appointed and clean. The bathrooms are deluxe. The breakfast is expansive and wonderful and the service is attentive. The grounds are fantastic and although you'll probably stay in Domblans because its close to Chateau Chalon, the town of Domblans itself is also very nice. We can't wait to come back.

Beautiful location with modern, quality facilities and very tastefully decorated. A lovely pool, large garden and very comfortable room. A delicious French breakfast efficiently served on the terrace with locally sourced cheese and ham, and home made preserves, brioche and cake. Very charming and friendly owners running a family business and keen to help with advice on areas to visit and restaurants to experience.

A small fridge in room would be helpful for summer travellers however there was a useful communal one.

We travel a lot in the world, it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Attention to the smallest details. I wish we could have stayed longer... Just perfect!

Warm and friendly host, delicate interior, fresh and newly renovated old vinyard. Spacious room(we had the room with the balcony), nice pool and hottub, and a big garden for kids to play in. Breakfast was excellent. Quite unique place.

Fantastic place to stay. We stayed with three small kids and it was superb. Room set up for families is a big plus, with two bedrooms in the one room. Breakfast was outstanding and the multitude of local produce was great to sample. The place and location are second to none, the memories of the children staying in a french chateau will live with them.

This is a beautiful location and a wonderful place to stay. The host was very helpful, he upgraded our room, rang and made reservations at local restaurants and talked us through lots of places we could visit while in the area. Really first class place and host.

The breakfast arrangements are one to one which we suspect is a Covid legacy. But the host was doing everything he could to make us feel safe.

The breakfast was lovely. The room was very clean and as per the pictures and description. It was only an overnight stop with the kids while driving to Alps but would definitely consider staying longer and exploring the area.

The property was very conveniently located, the rooms were very large and lovely. The host was exceptionally helpful and breakfast was amazing!

Beautiful house and big and nicely decorated rooms

Besides the house being an old mansion of the 17th century this place is absolutely wonderful. Located in the heart of the Jura, a magnificent stretch of natural reserve with unmatched beauty in every season, especially autumn with the beautiful orange/red hue, this place is downright amazing. The staff is made up of the two owners, a couple, who are hospitality guru's in heart and soul. They have carefully selected the products they serve at breakfast from local producers or they make it 'à la maison'! The bread, cakes and pastries are absolutely delicious. Besides the expertise, they are simply extremely friendly and amicable, perfect hosts. That said, they are even considering adding more facilities to their house. I cannot stress enough that this is an amazing place, I will most definitely return. We celebrated our friends 60th birthday and he was happy as could be. If you're even not sure what to do, don't worry, the hosts know everything and will set you up, you can go on a limb and just arrive.

No restaurants within walking distance, would have been nice to eat at hotel (this might have been due to COVID). However, host called around and made us a reservation at a local restaurant. Also would be good to have a small bar area to have an evening drink...

Very nice and helpful Hosts and English spoken. Large bathroom and the rainfall shower was great. Tea and coffee making equipment in the room and milk was provided by the owner. Very relaxed atmosphere, breakfast OK and the heated towel rail works great. Seperate toilet.

The bathroom albeit large has twin sinks, but they're designed without a plug! For privacy you need to close the large curtains which means you have to close out the light. Wardrobe is just a hanging frame/rail and the TV only has French channels

all was perfect and the rooms are greatly renovated

The location was just what we needed. The accommodation was adequate. However on arrival we were told that breakfast could not be served before 8.45am because the host was very tired and worked too hard to do it earlier. We were told not to use any cream on our face or bodies before going to sleep in the beds incase it got on the sheets.

We think the host should be sympathetic to the fact that for in paying this premium rate for an accommodation, they should be willing to serve breakfast sooner than 8.45am. In the end we had to ask them to leave some things out for us and we managed breakfast ourselves. For such an expensive cost, this was certainly not adequate. If you are travelling and want breakfast earlier than 8.45am this is not the place for you. We have stayed in many places before and never experienced such a thing. Also the main staircase had loose banisters which were incredible dangerous for anyone to loose. We had our amputee son with us and had to take extra care. The host did not tell us of this danger, we discovered for ourselves when our son nearly fell and through the staircase. Again for the cost charged a danger such as this should be rectified immediately.

After a day on the road- the pool and a bottle of Crema was welcome. The hosts are very attentive and the rooms are very comfortable. Nice breakfast by the pool and then off for another day on the road. Wish we could have enjoyed the place longer

Just loved everything about Le49. I truly hope to go hack and spend more time. The owners were amazing and so very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous, with local produce and freshly baked goods. Our room and our friends room was just simply the most beautiful and comfortable rooms I have stayed in..absolutely 5star. Thank you for a wonderful stay I truly hope to return.

Very nice and well decorated b&b in a good position near Chateau Chalon, Arbois... The owners are very kind and receive their guests with a lot of hospitality including an explanation what to see and visit in the region. Rooms are spacious with a nice bathroom. Very good breakfast. 'Everything is possible attitude' from the owners, they deserve a lot of credits for this.
