fantastic property, well located and well maintained

It gave us a home feeling, the welcome pack had yummy cookies and flavored teas. The WiFi was superb. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom water/shower was nice and hot. Didn't get to enjoy the garden as it was always raining & wet. A special thanks to Juju who helped us in checking in.

The heating system in the rooms and hall could be improved or probably it was extremely cold and didn't work. The lighting in the rooms can be improved in winters there was only darkness all the time. A mirror in the hallway would help and a little more space / shelves in the cupboard of room 2 would help as well. We had difficulty in finding the apartment as our online check in form didn't go through and we didn't receive the house manual that had all the instructions.

we had problems with internet connnections for 2 whole days . The kids are young adults who had uni assignments hence they were having issues completing their work

Great sized apartment and very well equipped with everything you need. Great location and has a small garden too which was lovely to have in such a central spot. The staff were very nice and helpful prior to arriving too.

We had no control over the heating and we were cold one night. It would be good to even have a booster function since they do not let you amend the timings or switch it on outside of hours at all. They said you can contact them but it was late and too much hassle. Overall it was clean however, there was rubbish in the cabinet under the TV (an empty bottle of alcohol) and the recycling hadn't been emptied prior to our stay. Also, it was a basement apartment and just outside of the door accross from it was a broken wooden door/storage unit. It was hanging open with no way to close and it felt a little unsafe at night coming home as the external gate to enter had no lock either so anyone could have gotten in to it. This should be boarded up or a new door put in.

Specious. Extensively equipped kitchen. Easily accessible by bus or foot to the main tourist attractions. "honesty bar" of wine. Books and gamesin thr leaving room.

Uneasy staircase from street tevel to the basement level. Oven could be cleaner.

my 4th or 5th time staying here now. the location is excellent for getting around the city. The apartment is large and on the whole comfortable. I travel for work so possibly spend more time in the apartment than tourists exploring the sites.

ALTIDO are not interested in customer feedback. They bombard you with emails from the point of booking to check in. I was due to arrive on Sunday afternoon, but I arrived a day later than expected. on Sunday morning at 5.40am before check in was expected I received a call from ALTIDO asking me why there was loud noise coming from the apartment. I wouldn't know i am not due to check in until Sunday afternoon! Upon arrival to the property I was pleased to see the front courtyard area had been tided up and how much better it looked from my last review. However the back door to the garden area was wide open and had obviously been for sometime. the apartment was extremely cold as a result. Having stayed here a number of times I could see that everything seemed to be in place and that there were no signs of a break in. I informed ALTIDO immediately by message and also the fact that the toilet in the bathroom was dirty. I had to send over a picture to evidence this! during my stay I also found used tissue under the bed in the second bedroom and flight boarding passes under the rug in the main bedroom. all reported to ALTIDO who told me that they would remain in contact on the issues. i am yet to hear back. I would like to direct this to the owner of the property. Your apartment is perfect for visiting Edinburgh apart from some maintenance issues it really is a lovely home from home. The management company you use is poor and give the impression of excellent customer service until you require them to act. Please consider using an alternantive managemnt company.

Very Spacious clean superb location well equipped Really comfortable beds and beautiful scented sheets. Nice outdoor space at the rear of the property.

Heating went off in the night cold enough to wake me up and could not put it back on as sign saying please do not touch heating locked. No coffee pods or explanation of which pods machine uses.
