Apartamento acolhedor, ótima localização 👌🏽

Location super good

It was so easy to find opposite the bus station and next to the fharmacy . We were met by Danielle who explained everything. The apartment was spotlessly clean, everything was modern and even the windows were all double glazed and electric blinds so no sound from the traffic nearby. The double bed was too firm for us but that is a personal choice, but two singles in the second befroom were very comfortable. The supermarket was just a short walk so very convenient. The mini train from the bus station was convenient every 30 minutes to take us to the main tourist spots even though they were only about 20 minutes walk from the Apartment. The apartment is on the second floor but has a lift as well. When we left Danielle helped us with our luggage to the bus station which was so nice. We also found it was easy to get the bus direct, non stop from Lisbon which was so cheap even has wi fi. So we were very pleased with everything about the apartment and we’re sorry to leave.

There was nothing that we didn’t like, we did make just one simple suggestion to have a non slip mat in the shower but that is hardly worth mentioning as we use a towel. We asked Danielle for a bread knife as it was difficult to cut fresh bread, and Danielle brought us a new one the same day so every thing in the kitchen is really complete

The location was walking distance to the Sanctuary, so beautiful and serene especially at night or first thing in the morning. I loved the sounds of the bells ringing, or the singing floating through the air. The convenience of having a grocery store (Pingo Doce) around the corner was fantastic! Daniel was an extraordinary host. He checked in with us, before our arrival in Fatima and was very accommodating, even when we showed up later than expected. Daniel went to meet us at a restaurant nearby and introduced himself, making sure that we had received his messages through WhatsApp. He also checked in with us daily to see if there was anything we needed, always attentive to our comfort. When we mentioned a few items, that we felt would be useful in the kitchen, he went out and bought them for our use. Thank you, Daniel for being such a great host!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The only real disappointment was that the elevator wasn't working, so getting to the 2nd floor was challenging for me because I have difficulty going up stairs. A personal recommendation would be to get softer pillows in the bedroom. I had to sleep without one, because the ones on the beds were too hard.

The apartment was spacious, and everything we needed was there. The proprietor came around and spent a long time chatting with us. He was incredibly charming and sweet. He loves what he does, and it showed. I would definitely return.

The comfort level was very high. No glitches. The host was very, very helpful too.

There is nothing to say in this regard. The place is more attractive than the picture on booking.com, so I would recommend that the picture be changed so that it reflect how nice the apartment is.
