the staff at reception were so friendly and helpful! in addition the dorm rooms are very nice and there’s a good view of the mountains from the communal area

i believe that there were only two showers on the property, so at peak shower times it’s a bit of a hassle

No air conditioning. Room was too hot to sleep in. Tolmin has the same high temperatures every summer so they should have proper air conditioning in place.

I loved a staff approach we were on a festival and is difficult to handle people like this they did.pillows were super comfy

The location is perfect for in Tolmin. Everything is easily reachable and perfect connection for going with busses.

The hostel room was a sauna. There might be an AC, but even with an outside temp of 28 it cant manage it. Which made sleeping quite difficult with a room that was about 30°C. My bed didnt have a plug that could be used, with the risk of another bunk hitting the cable in the night. The beds are also quite bad, since I woke up with a soar back.

At least drinks were cheap

The room has not even had doors. It was a walk through for two other rooms. The room was also crowded with beds. Space between beds was so small you had problems to climb to the upper bed. Windows wouldn't open, just a very small ac, which didn't affect at all. Bathrooms not clean

The room was hot, there was no air conditioning. The lady in charge was obnoxiously rude because I was late for check out. That’s no way to treat a guest.

Kitchen facilities, common place was nice, flexible with late checkout

I liked the location, the staff, the kitchen is nice and with everything you need, the living room is air-conditioned and has a nice view of the center, there is a bar downstairs for drinks and coffee, it also has ice cream, I recommend it.

More toilets needed,too many people for only two bathrooms and two toilets at the entrance,we managed this is just a suggestion.

Good location and bathroom seemed clean. Decent shower. Cafe downstairs is good for doing work and relaxing. Young girl working in cafe was nice.

Too many beds crammed into the dorm room (12 beds/6 bunkbeds) and also additional rooms that are accessed through the dorm and all using the same bathroom so you feel like you are being packed together like cattle. Too hot in the room. Paper thin walls. Hostel staff were not welcoming or friendly (apart from young blonde girl working in cafe). No curtains so you will likely wake up at 6am. You are just a body to fill a bed. You get much better value for your money by paying a couple euros more and staying down the road in a nicer hostel.

The stuff (the best people ever!), the town is secure, almost no people. Big place. Very comfortable. There is air-conditioning. The fact that there is not too much people make it very pleasant and quiet (ideal to work). I like that a lot. The kitchen is very well equipped. You have markets near the hostel.

The common room has no door. The walls are so thin to here what is going on next to you. There is no curtains so light come in very early in the morning. You can barely open the windows in the common dorm. When the bar is open at night you can hear the noise, laughs and smell the cigarettes.

This is one of the more affordable options in Tolmin so it's a suitable budget pick. It had a nice shared kitchen and common area that seemed to be well-maintained. There is a lively bar/restaurant downstairs. And it is in a central location in town.

You can get far better value at other hostels throughout Slovenia. We paid approximately the same as we did for hostels/guesthouses in other towns and cities, yet, here our room was an unfinished plywood box that barely fit the bed within it and was not within reach of Wifi.

The private room of 4 people was big enough, with a valcony and a bar opened until 00.00. The staff was nice and the check in very quickly. The towers and slipers are free.

Very few shower and bathroom for all the people

Private room was very comfortable. Bed was comfortable, toilets were very clean. Location is good.

Smoke from the bar downstairs comes up to the room via the windows.

Everything was excellent, staff very friendly, good atmosphere in the hostel, kitchen with everything in it, comfy beds and everything clean. I'm very scared of spiders and there were non. I am very pleased. Thank you

Location, kitchen available and a living room area to hangout

The bathroom was in a bad shape: toilet moved as it was separated from the floor (seemed like a hazard), dirty showers, no toilet paper and the bathrooms lights didn't always work. The check-in wasn't smooth and there was no reception available for check-out early in the morning.

The kitchen is very well equipped. Some staff is very friendly, and they have a bar downstairs. The guy from the bar was very friendly.

Not all staff are friendly, it really depends on the person. The manager doesn't explain the guideline of the hostel, only shows you the room. The door is locked during night, so leaving the hostel is not possible.

It needs more bathrooms.

Great location right in the center of town. Shared room was perfectly comfortable, multiple bathrooms and lockers was nice. There IS a kitchen, with a hob, stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, kettle, etc.
