We had the most fantastic week in Locorotondo staying at Trullo Maudi. The house is magnificent and has everything you could wish for. The garden and pool are beautiful. The pool is so nice to swim in and even though it was still a little cold we really appreciated the water which was so much nicer than chlorinated pools. The garden is very private and spacious and we really enjoyed it all. Comfy beds, nice bbq, lots of great outdoor seating areas, this place has it all. It is easy to walk into locorotondo and we did so every day we least once. There is an excellent bakery only few hundred meters from the house where we had lots of nice coffee and pastries. Nice restaurants close by and good options for takeaway as well. Maud is fantastic host and was very helpful and communicative throughout our stay. Cant recommended this place enough, we hope to return. Thanks Maud x

"This villa is our pride and our joy" is the personal introduction of the detailed and well illustrated welcome package that we have received from the owner right before our arrival. Nothing describes it better than what you find: a beautiful Trulli style villa in a generously property. Everything is well designed and in very good condition, the communication was very personal and reliable. The beauty of the region around Locorotondo and Martina Franca needs no further explanation. For my family and me it was an unforgettable stay.

We stayed at this gorgeous villa for a week and it was a perfect break in a lovely spot. There was plenty of contact with the owner at all times and she was always available for any questions - we came late in the evening and everything was organized for us, including basics in the fridge. There were six of us and plenty of space with three bedrooms with AC and two lovely bathrooms. The living area was great to lounge in and there was a dining table indoors and one outdoors as well as an outdoor area to sit in. The pool was magnificent - clean and it is a saltwater pool which was lovely. The villa is very private and there are olive and fig trees all around. We didn’t have a car and it was a 10 minute walk into Locorotondo which is a gorgeous town with lots of restaurants and places to have a glass of wine. We will definitely come back next time we are in Puglia and we all highly recommend this trullo villa!

The villa is absolutely sensational, a great mix of traditional and modern. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable, bathrooms and showers clean and contemporary. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, cutlery, plates and dishes you may need. Even though the July temperatures were around 35C, the inside of the villa remained cool - we did not need to use the AC in the bedrooms. The gardens are huge, with olive trees and shrubs surrounding an absolutely marvellous swimming pool that was used more or less constantly! It’s a 15 minute walk into Locorotondo town, featuring a beautiful car-free old section with many great restaurants, cafes and bars. The nearby towns of Alberobello, Martina Franca and Cisternino all definitely worth a visit, being less than half an hour’s drive. It’s also only around 30 minutes to the sea, with some lovely beaches. Maud is a superb host, answering any questions we had instantly and leaving many recommendations to enhance our stay. All in all, highly recommended for a relaxing, but interesting family holiday. During our 11 day stay, we honestly can’t think of anything that could have made our holiday better - apart from an extra week!

La maison est magnifique, et très fonctionnelle. Elle est idéalement placée par rapport à la ville de Locorotondo mais aussi pour des visites vers les pouilles du sud (Alberobello, ...). Maud est à l'écoute et très disponible.

La signora Maude e' stata sin dall'inizio gentilissima. La villa è comodissima per 7 persone con tre comode stanze e due bagni, un ampio salotto ed ha un parco con alberi da fico buonissimi e molte altre piante splendide. Fantastica la piscina, rara da queste parti. In poco tempo si arriva in tutti i paesini vicini, ed al mare. A due passi c'e' un ottimo bar pasticceria e ci sono molti supermercati. Maude e' stata gentilissima quando il vento forte della notte ha rotto l'ombrellone in piscina che noi non avevamo chiuso e non ha voluto essere rimborsata. Direi che consiglio fortemente questa villa con trulli ad una famiglia o anche due come eravamo noi. Grazie Mude.

Belle maison très confortable, bien équipée, piscine très agréable dans un beau jardin bien entretenu, propriétaire très réactive et sympathique. Charmants villages à proximité. La mer Adriatique a quelques Kms.

Huis is top! Goed verzorgd, compleet ingericht en prima bedden. Prachtig gelegen in natuur, centraal gelegen tegen Locorotondo aan. Mooi zwembad met zonnestoelen en heerlijke schaduwplekken.

Soggiorno piacevole in un immobile bello e funzionale Consigliato

Wir waren Mitte August mit 6 Personen (3 Generationen) und unserem Hund in diesem wunderschönen Haus - rundum alles perfekt!! Wir haben uns von der ersten Stunde an wohl gefühlt !! Eine Oase der Ruhe vor allem in der Zeit um Ferragosto - der Pool ein Traum !! Enza und Ihre Tochter Tiziana (Nachbarn) sind ebenfalls äusserst hilfsbereit! Der schriftliche Kontakt mit Maud , der Besitzerin, war sehr angenehm!! Wir kommen gerne wieder - nächstes mal aber länger!!!

We couldn't have wished for a better place. We spent a week with two families with young kids in this amazing place and enjoyed every single moment. It's a beautiful well-maintained house with everything you'll need, from A/C to an actual wood fired pizza oven. The pool was the right temperature and was very clean, the beds along side the pool made it feel like a little place in heaven. As we were traveling with young children, it was convenient that you could actually block the entrance to the pool to avoid the kids from running in the water. The villa is located on a short walk from Locorotondo , but is also close to some other great little towns. It's easy to get to Ostuni, Alberobello, and even the beach. You've got great restaurants, vineyards and olive oil farms close to the house, so there's a lot to do for everyone! If you're looking for a great place to spend your holidays, with a pool, bbq, pizza oven, air-conditioning, private parking space for 8 cars, and a well equipped kitchen in a beautiful area, look no further and enjoy your holiday in this beautifully renovated trulli. Thanks again to the great host for being so responsive and welcoming!

We loved staying here! We most enjoyed spending time on the patio off the kitchen which is shady and has gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. There is a large table so we ate all our meals there, too. The saltwater pool was great. Host was easy to get in touch with and very friendly. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials and all the cooking pots, etc. we needed. The only drawback was that only one of the bedrooms really had effective air-conditioning. That one was nice and cold! However, with fans the others were comfortable enough. Would definitely recommend this place!

De woning is sfeervol, smaakvol en van alle gemakken voorzien. Authentieke details zijn bewaard gebleven, maar de nodige voorzieningen voor een comfortabel verblijf zijn ook getroffen. Er zijn drie grotere slaapkamers, één is iets kleiner, maar biedt nog steeds plaats voor twee personen en er zijn twee spikplinternieuwe badkamers. De keuken heeft een gezellig barretje en is volledig ingericht. Ook buiten is het een heerlijkheid. Een fijne, verlichte tuin met rondom het huis diverse terrassen vanwaar je uitzicht hebt op de kathedraal van Locorontondo. Het zwembad is prachtig, voorzien van ligbedden en een leuke picknickhoek. Naast het -aan de keuken grenzende- overdekte terras is een ruime buitenkeuken met stoere BBQ. De oprit tussen de olijfbomen is charmant en er is ruim plaats voor meedere auto's. Het huis en de tuin zijn goed afsluitbaar. Het huis leent zich geweldig voor een verblijf met vrienden of bijvoorbeeld twee families met kinderen. Een echte aanrader!

Wij hebben met 4 mannen dit huis gehuurd om te trainen voor de triathlon. Lokaal (perfecte) fietsen gehuurd. Dit huis gekozen omdat het op loopafstand is van een leuk dorp en een goede uitvalsbasis is om hard te lopen en te fietsen in de mooie omgeving en in zee te zwemmen. Het huis was eigenlijk perfect voor het doel wat wij voor ogen hadden. 4 mannen konden goed separaat slapen in nieuwe comfortabele bedden. De rest van het huis was compleet ingericht met kwalitatief goede spullen. Ook het zwembad was nieuw met een ruim terras rondom het zwembad met goede voorzieningen ( ligbedden, douche etc ). Samen een zeer goede tijd gehad. Daarnaast waren de verhuurders ook nog eens aardig. Aanrader dus!

Prachtige grote Trulli villa, helemaal gerestaureerd en gemoderniseerd met behoud van authentieke details. Ideaal voor gezinnen met grote slaapkamers, 2 badkamers en 2 terrassen. Veel privacy door grote tuin en vlakbij Locorotondo en andere pittorekse dorpjes in de omgeving van het prachtige Puglia. Perfect geholpen door de eigenaresse Maud en haar waarneemster. Een aanrader voor iedereen die wil genieten van een echte Italiaans Trulli woonhuis met alle moderne gemakken.

Een fantastisch huis! Schoon, gezellig, warm en uitnodigend. Werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien en in en mooie staat gerestaureerd. Heel bijzonder om een een Trulli vakantie te vieren. De bedden liggen heerlijk en de douches zijn perfect. In de nabije omgeving is een grote supermarkt en het mooie plaatsje locorotondo ligt op 5 auto minuten rijden.. We zijn een beetje verliefd geworden op Puglia en als we hier weer naar toe gaan, willen we niet anders dan dit huis.. Maud de Nederlandse eigenaar en haar waarneemster in Puglia doen er werkelijk alles aan om je verblijf goed te laten verlopen. Hartelijk dank daarvoor😀😀😀😀

We hebben het fantastisch gehad! Locorotondo is idyllisch en Puglia biedt de ideale mix van cultuur, activiteiten en strand. Het zeer ruime en comfortabele huis is daarin een heerlijk rustpunt. Het proeft alsof je even inwoner bent van de regio doordat je in een echt Trulli huis bent, maar dan compleet voorzien van alle gemakken van thuis met voor iedereen een lekker plekje. Verse vijgen en ander fruit pluk je lekker uit eigen tuin, vonden de kinderen erg leuk om te doen! Overal merk je aan dat het de bedoeling is om je er lekker te voelen en er nergens op beknibbeld wordt. Bijna alles is nieuw (inclusief bedden en matrassen), maar het is zo gebouwd en ingericht dat wij ons er meteen thuis voelden. Wij gaan zeer waarschijnlijk nog eens terug in de toekomst en raden het van harte aan.
