Lovely stay, as always. The flat’s been recently refurbished and is now even more comfortable than it was.

We loved the apartment with so much space and the underfloor heating in both bathrooms was really nice. The balkony is very big with a nice view in the sun. The kitchen is very well equiped and you‘ll find everything you need. You can walk to the beach and on this way you wil find a lot of restaurants. We would come back! Thanks for a really great stay :)

The property was very clean and well furnished but on our arrival, there was no sky tv, parasol or hairdryer but all were resolved by Jaoa who was very helpful. A bit of a problem negotiating two flights of stairs with heavy suitcases but altogether a very nice property and would recommend it

Very nice, well equipped and spacious apartment 5 mins walk from the 'centre' of Burgau. Communal pool 2 mins walk, virtually empty all the time we were there. Bar / restaurant next to the pool. Hired a car for a few days and really enjoyed exploring many of the nearby beaches and villages and also up into the mountains which was well worth the hour or so drive. Burgau is wonderful - tiny little village with stunning beach and very big/strong waves (we didn't go in the sea very often here, we used the nearby Cabanas beach which was a bit calmer. But we spent many house sat in one of the bars watching the surfers and brave swimmers. Good choice of restaurants in and around the town, all very reasonable and all COVID-cautious. The small shops have all you need but we did go to the supermarket in Luz for a few extras. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to quarantine announcement. Friendly and prompt responses from the owner and the agent in resort - very easy to deal with. Would happily go back.

My home from home...

The apartment was exactly as expected. Stephen had contacted us prior to our stay to warn us of a crack in the bath but with 2 showers, this wasn’t a problem. It served as a perfect base for us for the week. I would suggest the possible addition of a hair dryer, if I had to be picky about something but accept that a lot of people bring their own. We will most probably return and can already feel the sun on that balcony!

Stayed here before so knew what to expect. Lovely apartment close by to beach and restaurants. Has everything you need... only one small thing- the one lounger available is getting a little shabby, and a second one would be nice. Apart from that it is the perfect accommodation!

Could do with more oven dishes as I like to cook on holiday. A set of oven gloves would also be useful./ Only 1 sun lounger available. Having a shower over the bath was a bit difficult. Bath unstable and depending on where you stood you felt as if you could go through the bath.. Initial teething problems when TV stopped working and no hair dryer were sorted out promptly by local agents who were very helpful.. DEspite negative comments we enjoyed our holiday in this apartment.

Grreat Been coming to burgua for nearly 20 years and love it . The appartment was clean and tidy and a welcoming pack of bread butter and milk was a nice touch.Had breakfast on balcony every morning before our trips to beach on returning had our drinks there as balcony still in sun.All our meals out where excellent and surfing on Friday night was a joy to watch from bar on hill. Weather was in the 80s all week shorts weather , I would recommend using this excellent for a lovely relaxing week or 2 ..

I’ve had such an amazing time I’ve booked for next year! Will miss the view from the master bedroom window each morning!

I loved my week in this flat. The furnishings are of a very high standard and the apartment is spotless. The location is ideal, just a short walk into the centre of Burgau and the accompanying access to the pool area across the road is a definite bonus. I'm already looking forward to my next stay here in September!

Good location and the apartment was superb. Very clean and lots of space for 4 people including an en suite and 2nd bathroom. fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Would definitely book the same apartment again.

Lovely balcony, which gets the sun all day.

I am a frequent visitor to Burgau and this apartment is ideally placed being a short walk to the beach and bars and restaurants but in a quiet location.Stephen was quick to answer questions and help with booking and we were met by his representative who explained about appliances and everything but as we were there a short while we didn’t use anything except the Wifi which was fast and reliable ( I had a bit of work to do! )It was spacious and well kitted out and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The patio gets the sun all day so ideal for breakfast outside or a sundowner although if you go regularly you will find Ruis bar is ideal for that and for very inexpensive and very large G and T ‘s!!! Overall I would return as I could not fault this apartment but as mentioned by another reviewer before me, I can see it may be useful to have an option of a welcome pack if arriving on a late flight as you can from Manchester but at other times the supermarket and local shop sell everything you would ever need and are only a few minutes walk away.

Very relaxing perfect break

Lovely stay at the apartment. Rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. We travelled in a fairly off peak time over Easter and the complex was very quiet. Didn’t make use of the pool as it would have been a bit too cold at that point! Within short walking distance of the town centre where there are some lovely restaurants and only a short drive to Praia de Luz. We would be happy to return!

Very well kitted out with modern furniture and good kitchen appliances. Made use of sun loungers on the lovely terrace which attracted the sun all day. Location was perfect as just a pleasant stroll to beach and great beach bar which is worth visiting Burgau for!

We had a lovely stay in burgau,beautiful village ideal for any relaxing break,the apartment was within 5 minutes walk from the beach and had everything you want for a comfortable home from home stay.

We loved our stay in burgau. It's far enough from them tourist chaos but close enough to sustain great restaurants and shops. Steve's apartment made our stay perfect. I can't recommend it highly enough.
