I traveled with three teens so it was nice to let them have the main living space to stay up late watching TV. I took the adjoining suite with the porch. So lovely! Plus the views were amazing!

Everything was great! There were far more amenities available than we used with our small party and two-night stay.

Nice place in a good location. The hot tub is secure from wind which is great, also cosy terrace with outdoor fireplace.

Cozy cabin a short distance from the city. Three bedrooms, one of them in a separate building, giving additional privacy if needed. Half covered hot tub so you can enjoy a soak in all weathers. Nice patio with an outside stove where we roasted some marshmallows. Kitchen stocked with most basic utensils, including a drip coffee maker (beans and pre-ground) and a Dolce Gusto capsule machine. Host easily accessible if we had any questions.

No WiFi. The tub smelled and no chlorine tablets available, no toilet paper, or a regular coffee machine. The pans were almost unusable and only half of the hob worked. Barbecue not only oily and dirty but on its last days. According to the rental description, there were to be 2 sofa beds that were nowhere to be seen, in addition, the previous guests had left a face cream so there is clearly limited traffic from host between guests. This is topped with an accusing and confusing phone call from the host, which he asks what went on and that the house was not in order. I asked what could be wrong, since we cleaned and left it like we got it. Apparently there was a loose screw in the toilet seat, the hose in the shower was also loose and some chair was falling apart in the sunroom. Which is obviously stuff that is prevented with regular maintenance, and not damage caused by guests. Not great.

Nice house in a very calm environment. Beautiful vista and good location near the touristic areas of the south of Iceland (geysir). A hot tub was available for us to relax after a day of hiking in the neighbourhood. We had all the modern équipement and a full featured kitchen with a dolce gusto coffee machine (that would have been nice to have that information before to buy caps upon our arrival) there is a spacious dining room and we loved the game room too. I recommend staying here !

View was great. Very modern and clean.

Trap wasn’t working in the bathroom so the house smelled like an outhouse. The stench was overwhelming.
