We had a wonderful experience in the Garni Hotel. The owner, Joseffine, was very welcoming, friendly, and polite. She upgraded our room and helped us plan our visit according to the weather, which was very helpful and saved our day. She also gave us free bus tickets which were valid for 7 days. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is renovated/new. The breakfast was good and the WiFi worked well. There was also a parking area which is really a must.

Wonderful stay in very comfortable room, our host Josefina made the stay excellent. Room was extremely clean and was cleaned every day. We will for sure come back!

The accommodations were very nice. Quiet location. The view from our balcony was spectacular! Great breakfast and the host was helpful and extremely pleasant. It was a pleasure staying and very hard to leave. Several hikes available right from the door and a bus service that allowed access to the whole area.

We had a wonderful stay at Garni Halali. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and the shower in particular was brilliant. Our hostess was incredibly kind and accomodating. I am coeliac and she purchased gluten free items so I could fully enjoy the breakfasts. It was great to feel so looked after and we really enjoyed our stay.

Owner Josefine of Garni Halali was very friendly and welcoming. She gave us recommendations for the area and she was always in for a chat. We have not often experienced such an involved owner before, very nice. The location of Garni Halali is perfect, just a few minutes drive from the centre of Ortisei up the mountain. The views are great, also from our balcony. You can easily take a bus down to the city centre, or walk there (just take into account the bus runs until 6 PM - after that it’s an uphill walk of 20 minutes. Josefine prepares a delicious buffet breakfast with a lot of choice, such a fresh bread and tasty cakes. The rooms are very tidy, the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is great. We would a 100% come back again.

Everything! The hotel was very cute and clean, the bed was comfortable and the spa shower was amazing! The breakfast spread was also pretty impressive and we enjoyed eating that every day. The owner was very kind and helpful and was always available when we had questions. Plus, the owner upgraded us to a room with a balcony free of charge since the room was empty! We had a fabulous time here and would certainly come back if we ever get the chance!

It's located in a lovely, quiet location with an amazing view of the hills and mountains. The room was spotless and everything was so clean. The shower was spacious and powerful. The breakfast was satisfying enough - I loved the crunchy bread and strong coffee. The balcony from our room had an amazing view of hills and mountains.

There wasn't anything I disliked.

Breakfast was extensive and good. Hotel is up a big hill so be prepared to walk or to rely on the bus. But it’s a beautiful location with an excellent view, comfy rooms, and great hospitality.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and Josefine, the owner, was incredibly kind & helpful - she helped us map out our hikes at breakfast! Garni Halali is quiet and peaceful but very close to great hikes including the Alpe de Suisi & Seceda. Plus, only a short walk to the village of Ortisei or you can jump on the bus which runs quite regularly just outside of the hotel. A lovely experience for our first time in the Dolomites, we will definitely be back!

We stayed 12 nights at Garni Halal. The location is peaceful and beautiful. The hotel located on a hill overlooking Ortisei. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel so car is not necessary. The bus runs between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. And bus tickets are free. A taxi from Ortisei to the hotel is about 15 euros. We liked the peacefulness and the great view. Room was always clean and bed was very good to sleep. And bathroom was good size and modern too. Josefine the owner of the hotel is really nice and we got good advice from her. She is very helpful. I recommend this hotel. The location is perfect if you want to use the Val Gardena card.

All went well. But if something has to be said, a minibar in the room would be good. However, we were able to use the hotel's fridge, so everything went well.

We had a wonderful stay here, the owner is so kind & helpful, and truly dedicated to hospitality. We appreciated the varied and fresh breakfast (especially the tasty cakes!), the large balcony with breath-taking views (and a little rack for drying laundry!), and the spotlessly clean room (where making the bed is a work of art!). It's a great spot, nice to be out of the bustle of central Ortisei but still easy to get to the centre by bus or even walking.

Our stay here was great! The lady who runs the place is very friendly and always there to help with tips! the breakfast every morning was delicious and always with fresh baked pastries.

Great view comfortable and clean.

Our stay in Garni Halali was really great! We got many good tips from the hostess for sightseeing, bike rental, roads and hiking around Val Gardena, which was the main point during our holiday here. The room was very nice and clean, not too hot despite the heat outside. The location of the accommodation was outside the main village but it wasn't that bad - the view was excellent! You really feel like home here :).

Cozy place with great view. Very friendly owners! Everything is clean. Parking is available. Bus station just in front of the house. Definitely will come back next year.
