This guest house was just as described. Very clean, excellent location! Sitting on the screened in porch was the best, even during a hurricane. We didn’t have the best weather, but still enjoyed our stay very much. Thank goodness it didn’t rain during the football game. I would definitely stay again.

We were vacationing with our 2 daughters and their families who were staying at a different location. There were 11 of us altogether. The charming guest house was perfect to return to after busy, active days. It was comfortable , welcoming, well equipped and immaculate. Thank you Jeff for sharing your guest house with us. Jeff’s guesthouse is absolutely gorgeous. Jeff was so helpful and kind. He met us at checkin and helped us get inside and showed us around. The space is incredibly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We rented kayaks from Jeff and enjoyed exploring the cove and surrounding areas. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watching the wildlife. The night before we left, Jeff blew the leaves off the area where we loaded up which was a pleasant surprise. We can’t wait to come back. The space is incredibly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We rented kayaks from Jeff and enjoyed exploring the cove and surrounding areas. Jeff is a fantastic host! He greeted us upon arrival and was very helpful. Although this coach house is above the garage and near the main house, you have complete privacy. It is perfect for a couple’s getaway. We brought our own kayaks, but Jeff had some available to rent for below market price. We were able to use their dock, located in a private cove on Lake Norman. We really enjoyed kayaking on the lake! The view from the rental facing the lake is quite lovely! We liked sitting on the screened in porch. Our only complaint is that the porch does not have a door. Despite the citronella candle provided, the mosquitoes still got onto the porch in the evenings. The place was very clean. We used the grill a couple of times and were able to eat many meals from the rental with the full fridge, oven, and toaster, etc. It was nice to have a desk as I had to (unfortunately) log in to work a few times. The Internet is a decent speed, but a bit slower when 2 people are on since you share with the host. We would definitely come back- I picked the place and my husband said he was quite pleased with my choice.

Very comfortable accommodations, easy check-in with good instructions and we had such a relaxing time away from home.

Wonderful quiet lakefront location on Lake Norman. Great view from screen porch. Accommodations were exceptional. Well appointed in every way. Everything you neeed is there. Thoughtful and instructions were detailed for use while there. As stated wuiet part of the lake. Would prefer a more central/busy oart of the lake.

It was everything plus more than we expected

This place is awesome! I was looking for a hotel room and found this cute little cabin on Lake Norman. The cabin is super cute, clean, spacious, and comfortable. It has everything I would need to stay there long term! The owner is friendly and assessable. I walked down to the dock and enjoyed the water everyday I was there. Hope to stay here again! Way better than a hotel. Close to shopping and eating.

I have to begin my review by saying that I am extremely picky. I have lots of allergies, so I can't comfortably stay just anywhere. This Lake Norman guest house was extremely clean and comfortable, with no unusual smells to set off my allergies. Jeff, the host, is very accommodating, and was graciously willing to help us with late check-in. He even loaned us a phone charger when we forgot ours. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return ourselves.

My husband & I enjoyed this guest house on Lake Norman. It was a peaceful home base while in the midst of house/job hunting in NC. Jeff & his son met welcomed us on arrival & helped with our bags. Check in/out was simple. He was always available to answer questions & able to help us with anything we needed. We loved the screened porch, for both hanging in & dining. We barbecued most nights. The lake was lovely. There are lots of water sports available in the area. Wish we could have had time to do some. Would highly recommend this property to anybody looking to get away from there hectic lives. Thanks Jeff!

We stayed for four nights at this beautiful guest house. The lake view was beautiful, the accommodations were excellent and the owners prepared the home with care for every detail and more. We will likely stay here again especially as I owe the owner a ride on my boat. We highly recommend.

We are VRBO owners and rent frequently through VRBO when we travel. This was the best place we have ever stayed! It was extremely clean, well stocked and in the perfect location. Just cannot say enough good things about this guesthouse.

Excellent place for a quick get-a-way. The host was helpful and the accommodations were new and clean. The little extra's upon arrival were also a nice little touch. We will definitely be back. We LOVE THE LAKE!
