This is the first time I've stayed at Blue Jay, on the "quiet side" of the lake, although the lake has been an important part of my family for decades. It provided the meditative, nature-loving solitude that I was looking for to recharge. I booked late, taking the last few days in August, and wish my stay had been longer.

This place is great. Very clean and supplied. It comfortably fit 8 of us plus our two dogs. Huge kitchen table for everyone to sit at. We loved the lakefront area. Fire pit and pavilion, a dock, paddle boat. Plus kayak and floaties provided. All you need to bring is towels, blankets and food! We loved it here!

This was our second year in the Blue Jay and it was perfect. Very well equipped cabin and the owner is great at getting back to you if you have questions while there. So many new things added this year to. I would highly recomend the Blue Jay.

My family and I had so much fun. The bluejay is adorable. The kitchen and living room are large enough for a big family to hang out in on a rainy day for some board game fun. My kids didn't complain once about having no wifi. Fishing in the morning, boating all day then relaxing around either of the fire pits all evening.

My 14 year old daughter and 3 of her pals just had a busy softball season, followed up by volleyball camp. Its hard to get to far away with all of our busy schedules. A few days sitting near the lake and watching the fire was just what they needed. They also took some walks to Happi Jax, the Anchor, and Lincan. We seen some neat wildlife at the damn and on the dock. Highky recommend the Blue Jay

From the beautiful location to the exceptional customer service, this place is amazing. The cabin is clearly well loved and well cared for - the family's love for the place is clear and shows in all the details. So relaxing, so quiet, and such a great week.

The Blue Jay at Lake Canadohta was a great home that will sleep 8 comfortably. Although there was only 2 of us and we ate all our meals out, all the amenities were available so you didn't need to go out at all. Very clean and felt at home right away. Just about everything you need is right along the lake. Either campfires at the house or down by the lake. Highly recommend The Blue Jay.

We had a lovely time at the Blue Jay! The weather was crisp but sunny. The stars at night were spectacular! We had campfires at night at the house and during the day at the lake. We purchased wood from VanTassels Timberland bait shop. Very reasonable! Hope to return!

It was very nice. We were going to get a hotel room in Titusville for the time there, but all the rooms were booked. So we tried this route and we definitely would stay here again. Very roomy, nice big kitchen. Nice living room area. Bedrooms were spacious. Very clean. Thanks again.

We loved it here and plan on coming back. It was clean, easy to find, there was so much room for everyone and lots of things to do. The owner was easy to get a hold of and very responsive if we had questions. Would highly recommend! It was perfect for our family. Thanks so much!

We have rented the Blue Jay several times. That in itself is a great review and compliment to the rental and owner. We find the home to me comfortable for our family ages 3-68! Love the new dock, furnishings and firepit! Great getaway!

The cabin is bigger than we thought. It allowed privacy for everyone. Having 3 bedrooms was wonderful. At first, we thought having the gazebo a slight walk away was weird, but we actually loved walking to it and having a dock to float next to. The only thing we suggested was to have a picnic table by the cabin, in case you don't want to take food to the gazebo. Brandon responded immediately to any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you.

This was a good place for us to stay because there was a lot to do we went to Grove city shopping, we went out to eat a few times, and we enjoyed the fire pit. We are going to build one when we get home.

My husband & I believe the Blue Jay is a very nice property & fit all our expectations. Brandan promptly answered any questions we had. Welcome package explained everything. Spacious rooms with updated appliances. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at The Blue Jay. The house is very spacious including a large, updated kitchen stocked with essentials needed for cooking. The 3 bedrooms all had comfortable mattresses. Having 2 bathrooms each with a shower was very convenient to have in a rental lake house. We loved the detached lakefront area which was just a quick 30 second walk from the house. The gazebo made for a great place to sit when it rained, or if you needed to get out of the sun. Private dock and fire pit right on the lake shore made for a great evenings and star watching. The check in/out process could not have been easier. The host Brandan was very responsive when contacted and you can tell he takes pride in his rental. We look forward to renting The Blue Jay again!

Another great year at the blue jay! This was our third year renting this cottage for our family to join at to continue our 30+ years of meeting at the lake. Thanks Brandon for your hospitality once again. The cottage looked and worked great and we also met some of the neighbors as well this year. Looking forward to next year already!

We gathered in town to celebrate my mom's 80th BD. She stayed on this same street since she was a child. The property has a great kitchen with everything anyone would need and the gas grill served our purposes very well. The outdoor space cannot be matched at any other lake property. The house has a great flow and since we had a variety of ages there were many options for "hang-out" spots. The neighbors were very welcoming and friendly. Bravo to the Blue Jay....

We loved the gazebo by the lake the only problem was the large amount (about 10) of carpenter bees buzzing around. Not a host problem but it was annoying. The dock was the best place to fish and our kids caught blue gills, bass and perch. We would definitely go back. The owner was easy to contact and fast to reply. The only drawback of the property if you have younger kids is the location of the dock/lakefront to the cottage. You cannot see the lakefront from the cottage or see the cottage if you are at the dock. This wasn’t too much of a problem for us because our kids are a little older but if you have younger children it just requires you to make the little walk up the hill to the cottage with them or stay at the lakefront when they are there. We had a great time and thanks for a beautiful cottage!

We loved the peacefulness of the area despite the tree removal process across the street. Everyone we met was friendly. We lost track of time on a few occasions, which is a wonderful thing.
