This is a great place to relax and unwind. it is quiet and in a beautiful park like location.

The cottage is beautifully presented - the decor and furnishings are lovely and the kitchen has everything we needed. Julia, our host, left us home made granola, baking , jams and fresh fruit, which was so thoughtful . The grounds are beautiful and it was wonderful. It was such a pleasure to be there.Everything about the place was fantastic . I couldn’t recommend it more highly .

The host is so lovely and accomodating. Easy access to the cottage!. It is set in the most beautiful garden surroundings, you wake up to birds singing. The cottage is big, fabulous kitchen, a beautiful bathroom with toiletries (honesty could have been in a five star hotel) and the bed is super comfortable. Lots of room to move around and huge sofa also. It is close to Matakana shops, wineries, the Sculptureum etc.. Loved this place and hope to be back. The host has gone out of her way to make you feel at home..really appreciated.

Great for a base to explore so many things and places in the area. Can recommend Matakana market, the Sculpturium, Anchor Bay, Port Wells. Peaceful and lovely outlook from the holiday home. Had everything we needed. Good local info provided.

Could have done with a bit more food as a welcome. Only Jam and milk. Paint on windows needs to be scraped off for a better finish.
