Fabulous stay in this wonderful apartment. Couldn’t fault it, would loved to have stayed longer. Would highly recommend.

Overall my family enjoyed our stay in this apartment. What we liked best was, of course, the view! Aside from that, the indoor furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, including a dishwasher. The beds were fairly comfortable and the linens decent. Nice washer and dryer for clothes. And the location relative to the main entertainment district of Menaggio, and in particular the Ferry station, was quite good. However, some things you may want to know, that the listing itself probably doesn’t tell you: - The parking space/garage is very small. If you have anything larger than a compact car, prepare for a difficult task to get the vehicle in the space without hitting a concrete pillar. Don’t even think about trying to get a large SUV (Chevy Tahoe, Land Rover, etc.) in there! - There are numerous steps to climb in order to reach the apartment from the road below. So if you have poor mobility or other health problems, I would think twice about this. There is another way to avoid the steps, but it would be a much longer walk in most cases, up/down a steep road. - There are other units in this building, and lots of signs about keeping quiet. So if your group tends to make a lot of noise, maybe not the best fit!

The property was perfect for me and my 2 girlfriends. We each had our own room. The back is more suitable for kids and therefore, we used the pullout sofa in the front. This place could also be great for 2 families with kids. A little confusing of getting to and in the property. However, once figuring that out, it was easy. Close to town and easy to walk around, especially once you see path to cross street. Definitely need to be careful crossing the road. Loved it and would stay here again!

The view was amazing. The place it’s self was, O. K. I would not go back to same property as it wasn’t very clean and I ended up spending a day cleaning and making beds. Zero starters as well. Even a roll of paper towels would have been nice. Just not a good experience there for us. Make sure you get full instructions on washer and dryer, and lights in the house.

The home is beautiful and well appointed. The location could not be more beautiful. It was easy to get around the town. The staff was very responsive when the electricity went out one night due to a storm.

Mennagio is incredible and this property was beautiful. I could not get enough of the view off the balcony. The house had everything we needed for a family of 5 to be comfortable. I would go back tomorrow if I could.

Plenty of room . A few stairs to climb but doable. View outside phenomenal. Dryer did not work. Check in a bit difficult with no parking. Would recommend.

The rental was as described and the view was incredible. Staying in Menaggio is very convenient since there are frequent ferries to Bellagio, Varenna, etc. Stayed with a group of 3 couples. The bunk bed room worked but wasn’t ideal.

Our group of friends had a wonderful stay in this property. We really enjoyed the incredible view, the state of the art bathrooms, new kitchen appliances, nice washer and dryer, comfortable furniture inside and out, plenty of closet space and electrical outlets, quiet and safe neighborhood, and lovely welcome basket. Also the property managers are very responsive, answered all questions, came over to show us how to operate the dryer and the TV and quickly resolved a few minor drain clogs. The only inconvenience was that we could not run more than one major appliance at a time without blowing a fuse. No big deal, we just were careful with the oven, microwave, dryer, and hair dryer not to run them at the same time. There are plenty of standing fans in the apartment and you will need them since there is no air conditioning. One surprising thing is that they only supply one roll of toilet paper per bathroom- even though we stayed for 16 days. The previous reviews prepared us for the walk uphill to the apartment, but we are in good shape, it was worth it to enjoy the beautiful view, and we appreciated the exercise! We will definitely come back!

The property is as advertised. The pictures are accurate. The parking spot is for a small car only! I had amis sized car and could not park! The management was No help! Parking in Menaggio is a nightmare in general and when I could not park my car in the slot provided, I was told I could look for a spot in town. Impossible!!!! Overall not a bad property but I would think twice if you have anything but a very small car!

Die Wohnung ist groß und hat eine atemberaubende Aussicht von der Terasse. Menaggio kann von hier aus zu Fuß super erkundet werden. Aber das Kinderzimmer ist eine Zumutung. Es dient im Winterhalbjahr offensichtlich als Abstellkammer (5 Ventilatoren, 2 alte zusammengerollte Teppiche, ein Paravent, 2 Staubsauger, Wischutensilien, Decken & Co.). Das Doppelstockett ist nicht schön und nur das untere ist nutzbar. Das obere wackelt viel zu sehr für Kinder, die älter als 6 Jahre sind. Ein Kind musste im Wohnzimmer schlafen. Ein Teil der Wohnung ist offensichtlich saniert und in Ordnung. In einem der Bäder gibt es praktisch keine Ablagen und eine der Duschen ist nicht nutzbar, da der Duschkopf nicht dicht ist. Der Duschvorhang war teilweise abgerissen und schon mehrfach provisorisch repariert. Das Licht am Spiegel funktioniert nicht, genauso wie einige Steckdosen. Zuletzt ist auch der Geschirrspüler kaum nutzbar, da nicht mehr in der Küchenzeile verankert. In vollem Zustand kippt der Geschirrspüler heraus. Wir waren mit einem VW-Bus angereist. Für diesen ist der zur Wohnung gehörende Parkplatz so gut wie nicht nutzbar, da zu eng. Wir haben mit den Anwohnern getauscht (sehr nett, Danke). Wir haben trotzdem in der Wohnung zu sechst eine schöne Woche verbracht. Man kann die Zeit genießen. Allerdings ist für diesen Qualitätszustand der Preis deutlich zu hoch. Wir hatten auch einen Stromausfall, allerdings wurde uns vom Vermieter hier prompt und sehr kompetent geholfen. Die oben aufgeführten Mängel haben wir dem Vermieter am Folgetag der Anreise mitgeteilt und bis heute keine Antwort erhalten. Das ist unprofessionell und enttäuschend.

We were a family of 5 plus my Mother-in-Law. This was the perfect size place for us! Kitchen was well stocked with every pot/pan you ever need! The place was great and open so we could cook and chat at the same time. The stove could use some repair, as the gas took ages to turn on, and the dishwasher was a little tricky to close. But, the property mgmt folks addressed the dishwasher immediately and send someone to fix it so that we could use it. The location is really perfect - five minute walk to the ferry and small grocery store. We would definitely come back again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Apartment laid out well and with all amenities needed. Would, absolutely, book this specific property again. In fact, my wife would like to own it!

What an incredible property! This rental was better than expected- especially the view! Check in was smooth- the Lake Como staff was pleasant and accommodating. They answered many questions for us about things to do in the local area. We loved being able to walk to town and there was a nice little market to buy groceries to cook at home. We had many meals on the deck while we enjoyed the view. We also loved being so close to the ferry. We were able to have dinner in Bellagio one evening and catch the last ferry back. We had a wonderful stay!

The rooms are large and well furnished, beds comfortable and management is nice. You Are better off with a car. The walk is uphill and steep. I’d go back in an start as it is heaven on earth.

July 2018 Amazing apartment with mountain, town and lake views! The apartment was in a great location, walking distance from the town which was great because we did not come with a car (we came by ferry!). There was more than enough room for the 7 of us and we really enjoyed spending time on the large patio with breathtaking views. Although there is no air conditioning in the apartment there were plenty of fans to keep us cool in July. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. The area feels very safe, private and quiet. The town of Menaggio was perfect for us to explore and we were able to find everything we needed in the two grocery stores. The staff at Happy Holiday Homes was very professional and helpful during our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone! Stephanie, USA

We hung out on the patio most of the time we were at the house. There were 7 of us staying here and there was plenty of room. The pictures are out of date because almost ALL of the furniture has been updated, as well as the bathrooms being remodeled (I would recommend that the property managers update this and add more pictures of the views from the balcony). There is also a queen bed instead of the sofa bed in the one picture of the bedroom in the office and the bunk bedroom actually only has 3 beds, not 4 as pictured. The location was great! Mennagio was a short walk from the apartment which was convenient because we didnt have a car. There were plenty of restaurants and things to do in town and if you wanted to leave Mennagio the ferry station was just down the hill, a 10 minute walk. There was no air conditioning which was not a problem because there were plenty of fans in every room. Also, we did not find a hairdryer on the property so I suggest you bring one if this is important to you. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to the area.

Mater bathroom is renovated and wonderful. The 2nd bathroom is also nice but lacks a shower curtain - so the whole bathroom will become wet after a shower. Living room and dining room are large and well designed and include large TV with satellite. 5-minute walk to town and restaurants. We will certainly stay there again.Majid, UK

May 2017 The views from the terrace are stunning! The location is a short walk into the main square and the lido. Daniel and his team were attentive and any questions we had were answered in a prompt fashion. I wouldn't hesitate to rent properties managed by Daniel the next time we are in Lake Como. July 2016 Enjoyed our stay. View from balcony was amazing. Bed in Master bedroom was great. Kitchen was good and well equipped. Glad there were ice cube trays in freezer. The condo was spacious. Wifi worked well. Very happy. Staff in your office were great. The drive to Lake Lugano was nice, also the drive to Mont Bre. July 2016 Our visit to Menaggio was breathtaking. We arrived at Bella Menaggio Terrazzo, and was pleased with the apartment, it looked as it does on the website. The views are stunning, and well worth the walk up the hill. We arrived with 3 motorcycles and the space allocated to us was ample, and covered and most importantly, it was secure. Menaggio is a lovely place and we didn't have any favourite places to eat, they were all good. A trip on the lake is a must to visit over places and the Lido is worth a visit too. I would definitely recommend the place and staff at Happy Homes were efficient and really helpful. Trevor, UK

My husband, myself, daughter and her 2 young children stayed for 2 weeks in this wonderful apartment and would return in a heart beat! The apartment is large, comfortable and has an outstanding view of the lake and mountains. It is minutes from town center and the ferries. WE LOVED IT!!!

Thanks for a wonderful Bella Menaggio Terrazzo, we had a great time. The space and terrace and view were fantastic. Picking up and dropping the keys was very easy. The information you gave was very helpful. The only issue was fans, which were given when we asked. We will definitely be back again.
