Great communication from Prajun leading up to our arrival. Transport arranged from Chitwan by Prajun was fantastic (prompt, excellent car and careful driving). Alas accommodation itself was certainly not "superior deluxe" standard.

Poor customer service: no help with bags to room (not even an offer of help) despite being 4 floors up and us both having 2 rucksacks each. No main reception area for guest house (this has to be completed at the bakery 2 doors down hill). Rooms accessed via passage way from the main street and remain accessible by the public 24h day (feeling unsafe). Room quality was very poor: carpet poor quality & dirty (matted) and did not fit the room with bare concrete exposed at edges, open sockets exposed on the wall, several plug sockets did not work, grimey kettle available for tea & coffee making (but no cups or water or teabags, coffee available). Windows were covered in mould and rotting. Bathroom was awful: you have to message Prajun for him to turn in the hot water and then again to turn it off. Blinds were covered in mould. Soap provided was dried out and looked dirty itself. So bad we chose not to use it and went unshowered for 2 days. Toilet seat broken. Glass shelf filthy with old soap scum. Breakfast was included at the bakery next door: mouldy butter served with my toast! We've never had to leave a review like this before (and have not done so easily but need to make all.parties aware). We are used to using basic accommodation throughout Asia, South America, Indonesia so are fully aware of the differences in standards. Hygiene is important and for this room to be described as superior deluxe is not valid. We cut our losses and left after 1 night cutting short our stay in Gorkha. Photos on booking.com and other sites clearly taken a long time ago!

The staff is really friendly and helpful and trying their best! The beds are quite stiff, which I dont mind, but I think is important to say.

I was the only one there at the moment, but in general I like to have privacy curtains at my bed in a dorm.

Clean room and comfy beds. Great location in Gorkha town centre. Overall, this was a great base to explore the area from. The property is great value for money and you get what you pay for. It isn’t a 5 star hotel but it serves its purpose really well.

Check-in was at the next door bakery. The staff spoke very little English so it was a bit difficult. Breakfast was included and we understood this was brought to the room. However we had to go to the bakery for it.

Great property. The people who run the B&B and run the adjoining cafe are wonderful people and incredibly helpful! One of the best places we’ve stayed.

Excellent quality bed/bedding, very clean throughout, quiet, nice hallway and balcony to sit, centre of town 2 minutes walk from the bus stop, easy to find. I had a bed in a dorm but I was on my own both nights I stayed.

No hot water ever, I tried for 2 days all day and night, just freezing cold. The dorm has no windows but an entire glass wall and door facing the hallway, zero privacy/security. No tea/hot water/drinking water. No staff around, no keys, whoever can access the building and the dorm, no atmosphere, the ower collects your money and that's it.
