Really enjoyed our stay here in Fredericksburg! The house was great and just as described and shown in the pictures. Definitely walkable to downtown but we ended up driving each time because it was our first time in Fredericksburg and we headed down 290 after we were done in downtown each time. The hot tub was great after our days of exploring. We would definitely stay here again when visiting!

This was my second stay at the Love Shack. It never disappoints. The whole experience was wonderful and you can't be the location. Absolutely loved having coffee outside by the fire pit on the cool, crisp mornings. Doing the same in the evening but sipping on a nice glass of wine from a local winery. Will be back!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Love Shack. It was peaceful and quiet in the evenings. However, the blinds in the living room can be seen through from outside of the property as well as in the kitchen. The side door that's facing a busy street is only a sheer curtain and can also be seen through. Not exactly the ideal place to have privacy with your spouse.

This property was so cute and cozy; we enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoors despite the rain and cold weather. It was perfect for two couples. Great property, and would stay there again for sure.

Planned a last minute birthday celebration for a friend and was so happy to find this house available. This house was perfect! It is in a quiet neighborhood, not too far from Main Street. Very clean. Nicely decorated, had a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and all the amenities that we needed. The backyard was very nice and spacious...a perfect place to relax with a glass of wine after a day of shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again!

Cute house in a quiet neighborhood with a great location. Enjoyed breakfast on the porch and evenings in the cozy back yard. Home away from home with everything you could need within reach. Walking distance to downtown Fredericksburg for great food, shopping and fun. Enjoyed driving through the rolling hills and getting out to see nature. Loved our visit and hope to return soon.

We loved “The Love Shack”!
My best friend and I planned a girls trip to Fredericksburg and The Love Shack was just perfect for two adults needing a retreat from the real world! Checking in was simple and convenient. We found the house to be very comfortable and sparkling clean. The backyard is wonderful! We didn’t use the hot tub but enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings with coffee and in the evenings with a glass of wine. The beds were comfortable and the home had everything we could have wanted. We didn’t walk to town but you definitely could if you wanted to! We would absolutely stay here again!

The house was so cute and had everything we needed. Close enough to Main Street to walk and neighborhood is nice and quiet. Outdoor hot tub was a nice touch and backyard is a nice oasis. Access to a washer and dryer would have been nice but not that necessary for a short weekend stay. Would definitely recommend!

Relaxing Anniversary Weekend
My husband and I stayed at the property for our anniversary weekend. The house was in a perfect location to easily walk to Main Street and close to great restaurants. When we arrived thee hosts had a bottle of wine for us to celebrate our anniversary and had the hot tub warmed up! Great hospitality. We had a great stay.

Great property in a great location and neighborhood. No washer dryer access so bring extra towels. Other than that it was perfect. The home and property were very clean.

House was lovely. As described, clean, airy and bright. It was the perfect homebase for our week-long vacation in the hill country to explore Fredericksburg and surrounding areas. Huge backyard (and hot tub) especially nice. Kitchen had all we needed to cook meals. Excellent home away from home!
