Loved the space and accessibility to the beach. Lynn and The Captain are really great people.

This beach house is in a perfect location and stocked with everything you need to go to the beach! The house was clean and ready for us to make some great family memories. The beds were also very comfortable.

This property was perfect for our families beach vacation. The location of the beach right across the street and the use of the wagon and lawn chairs and sand toys made it super easy to enjoy the beach with ease. The grocery store was just a few blocks away, so it was easy to walk to the market for supplies. Also you could catch the free bus right outside to go anywhere on the islsnd! My favorite part was the porch swing with a view of the ocean and plenty of opportunities for people watching. The owner was super nice and helpful as well. We had a blast! Definitely recommend!!

Our stay was wonderful! Lynn met us as we pulled in the driveway and we had a short visit. This property is well maintained and in a great location. We will definitely recommend this property and we hope to stay there again in the future!

This place is very nice. Nice porch with swing. Very close to beach. Stocked with everything you could need. Comfortable beds. Clean. Communication is excellent. Second stay here and will be back. Quiet and ideal if you have a pet. Appreciate so much that they are dog friendly. 5 star!!

We really enjoyed our visit. Lynn and the Captain were great. We walked the beach daily - public access is right across the road. Loved the covered porch and being able to see the ocean a bit. The place was clean with all the amenities you would expect, including beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, and more. The beds and pillows were excellent. Thanks Lynn!

Lynn was there at the property when we arrived to greet us and show us around. The location was perfect with just a short walk to the beach!

Situated across the street from the pedestrian beach access, the view and the sound of the surf was wonderful. The accommodations were excellent - furnishings, appliances, etc were definitely above average. The property manager is exceptional - she bent over backwards to ensure we had an ideal stay.

I would highly recommend this place. It was easy to find and good location just across the street from the beach. The host greeted us as we arrived and gave us recommendations.

This is the 4th or 5th time back to this property. That should be enough to say that we enjoy staying there.

Perfect family getaway housing. I recommend this location if you want a casual experience away from the crowd. My husband, kids (11 & 14), and I flew into Harlingen Airport and rented a car. Car rental was not much more expensive than the airport shuttle. We arrived around lunch time, and text Lynn for lunch recommendations. She let us know when cleaning was done which got us into the rental an hour earlier. Lynn is so nice and welcoming. All the positive things said about her in other posts are very true. The home location is perfect with a guaranteed off street parking spot. There are two rentals upstairs, and we stayed in the south side. We could see the water and feel the breeze from the front porch. Access to towels, beach gear, umbrella, chairs, cooler (big and small one), and boogie boards were part of why booked, and it was so great to have those at our fingertips. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off. The beach access is right across the street, and allowed several stress free beach visits. The kids would also walk back to the house to grab a drink or snack or take a break. Great place and awesome experience.

This is a wonderful home on the second story with the owner living below. Everything is provided that you will need both in the home and on the beach, which is only a few steps away. a nice, quiet section of the beach area without a lot of traffic noise. We stayed for a week and will be back on our next vacation.

This location was amazing and Lynn (owner) was the best !!!!! We arrived a little earlier than we planned due to flights and car rental. Lynn was great and gave a us a call when the property was ready so we could check in about 1-2 hours before the listed time. Literally the perfect location, walk right across the street to the ocean. You could walk to everything you absolutely need, but may need a ride or rental to get to other things like the dolphin tours etc depending on what you want to do. All the things we needed for the beach were provided, which was fantastic as we flew in, and brought carry ons only. Would stay again if we visit South Pardre. The location was quiet as well which was a bonus, we all slept well while visiting!!

Everything was very clean and Lynn and Captain Kevin were very helpful and informative. They gave us all the best spots to go to and helped us out with knowing what activities would be the best for us. I would highly recommend staying.

Lynn & Cpt. Kevin are awesome and their place is a gem! Condo and amenities were perfect and so was the location. Highly recommend staying there and be sure to go out bay fishing with Cpt. Kevin. He was great with our kids and made sure we caught fish (red fish we landed tasted amazing!). We’ll be back for sure, thanks!

Will definitely book this place again if I ever go back. The place is so nice and convenient to the beach and nothing on the island is over 10 mins to get to. We didn’t have to bring anything because they had umbrellas, wagons and beach toys on site. The people were friendly and helpful and never bothered us about anything. Well worth the money compared to a hotel.

My family stayed a week and loved being here. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach. The beach access is nice as it's not as crowded as some of the others with parking lots or hotels feeding the beach. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The property managers we very friendly and helpful, with great suggestions on what to do. We loved our stay, and we plan to repeat it the next time we return to the island.

This property was a true gem and Lynn was a lovely host! We brought our pups with us to stay and we loved this spot. It was across the street from a beach access point and had all the amenities we could need or want. It was a great location that is close to restaurants and hot spots. Lynn even called us on the way to make sure we avoided a route that was closed that day due to heavy rains. The only note for those looking to stay - there are two units upstairs (north and south), this was unclear when we booked but didn’t impact our stay at all. We still had more than enough room. We loved it here and will look to book in the future for our next trip to South Padre. Thank you, Lynn, for contributing to our wonderful stay!

We enjoyed this property so much! It had everything we needed, close to the beach and the hosts were awesome! We went with Capt. Kevin on his fishing boat, which was an amazing experience. Can't wait to return!

Accommodations are on the second floor with a large porch providing a view of the gulf. Cross the street and follow the public access through the dunes to the broad sand beach. Host lives on ground floor, is a year round resident of South Padre Island, and is available by phone to answer any questions about SPI services, attractions, activities, etc. Host’s guide to restaurants, grocery stores, services, etc. is in your accommodation for easy reference. We enjoyed the laid back vibe of the entire island and the many pleasant people we encountered during our stay. a g
