It was fantastic stay at Fox hill. Hosts were amazing and very helpful. We went there with our 1 year old daughter and host made sure that our stay is comfortable and pleasant.

Very clean. Wifi is good. We saw the beautiful sunset at the road, just 1 minute away from foxhill. The host is very friendly. Knowing that it will be hard to get a grab in the early morning to catch our flight, the host drove us to the airport and the price is very friendly! Fast response. The hosts have some cat. They are lovely. Shampoo and shower gel provided. If we want to eat at the restaurant, we will need to book 1 day in advance, since the host wants to make ingredients fresh.

Kitchen is not inside the house. However it's actually very close to the house, just 1 minute walk.

Rustic fasilities in the nature. Every morning we were woked up by birds. It was very convenient to hire a car from the hotel owner. nice swimming pool and breakfast

The malay style house was very nostalgic. Everything was perfect. The house was clean and the staff/ownerr was generous. He even offered us to upgrade to larger house (as we have quite big family) with no charge. The location also near to the airport and close to a nice restaurants in Langkawi. Would love to stay again if we are in Langkawi.

Ezani and Ann are wonderful hosts, and made us really feel at home. The pool was lovely, the food excellent and the accommodation comfortable and clean.

Foxhill is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking to get away from the touristy, commercial resorts on the island. It’s located inland among beautiful scenery and as it’s quite central, it’s just a short car ride to all the main sights and best beaches. There were so many good things about the place itself, I can’t list them all. The wooden houses were in a traditional Malay style with a veranda to relax on and were clean and tidy. The kids loved the swimming pool, looking at the wildlife and playing with the two pet cats, Bugs and Flops, who were so friendly and gentle. The garden was a relaxing place to chill with covered outdoor seating dotted around. Breakfast was a mix of delicious Malaysian food like roti canai, noodles and kuih, and toast, cereal, fruit and yogurt. But what made the place particularly special were the owners, Ann and Ezani. They were so kind and hospitable, always keen to make sure we were comfortable and to help us with anything or provide information. We were celebrating my father’s birthday and they were happy to help with getting a cake in and generally made him feel special. He loved it. We particularly recommend having evening meals here. Ann is very modest about her cooking and says that she just makes simple home-cooked food but she’s actually an incredible cook. We ate out at restaurants a couple of times but after that all we wanted to do was eat at Foxhill as the food was so much better, fresh and reasonably priced. We can’t recommend Foxhill enough - it’s a wonderful place. Thank you, Ann and Ezani, for making our trip to Langkawi very special.

some maintenance needs to happen around the pool - the shaded pagodas hold some broken furniture that could be cleared away as well as an old car.

A place we come as guests and leave as friends. Ezani and Ann are the best hosts. They must have well traveled themselves that they have thought through every single tiny details. The place has everything we need for a comfortable stay. We wished we could stay longer.
