Overall great stay with a good amount of space. Our rental included both floors. Upstairs - larger master, twin bunk room, queen room with en-suite, queen “pass through room” The pass-through room give you access to the backyard which is shared. Downstairs has smaller master, 4 twins bunk room with en-suite, one queen with en-suite and another queen bedroom. Very nice bathroom to bedroom set ups. Laundry both up and down. Both kitchens were well stocked. Parking for 4-5 cars. The big win to this property is the beach and all the goodies available to use. The beach is a short walk (even with babies) and the house provides wagons, towels, toys, small boards etc. we didn’t need to add a thing to enjoy our time at the beach. When we reached out to the owner with a concern it was handled immediately even when it was out of owners control.

The booking was exactly what we thought we were getting. Really enjoyed getting to stay here with plenty of beds so the whole party slept comfortably. The place was mostly clean when we got there. The beach is a 5 minute walk away so it is very well located.

We had a great time. We rented both units and it was walking distance to downtown Encinitas. All around fantastic place.

We had the best time staying in this home. The location cannot be beat! You are so close to the beach as well as our favorite places to eat on the 101. We walked everywhere! The home itself is perfect for families. We had kids at all ages and it was so nice to have the bunk rooms as well as plenty of bedrooms for couples. Loved that we had two family rooms as well-kids could watch a movie in one, adults in the other! The home has two fabulous patios that were basically added living spaces-we loved it out there. Tons of towels, two wagons, and beach toys as well. None of us wanted to leave. Rebecca was wonderful to work with and we can’t wait to book again!

This property was perfect for our party. The location was great, the beach provided hours of entertainment, and the town was close and very walkable. Everyone of our guests was extremely happy with the place. The nice, big, well equipped kitchen was the center of lots of great meals.

We had a great time at this duplex. We go on an annual family vacation and need a large space to accommodate our large group of adults and children (ranging from infant to 7 years old). It is really difficult to find a place big enough, but this place delivered. All the adults had their own bedroom and bathroom and even the kids had their own rooms. There were also toys and wagons for the kids to use and it made traveling to much easier. It was a close walk to the beach (even with 8 kids) and we walked to 2 separate playgrounds the kids loved. I would definitely recommend for large families looking for kid friendly accommodations!

We had an amazing Thanksgiving at Rebecca’s incredible house in Encinitas. Steps to Moonlight beach and a mile from Beacons with tons of space. I hope to come back!

The property was excellent, and in such a great location! Walking distance to the beach, and to great restaurants and bars in downtown Encinitas. The place was clean, had plenty of amenities, and was perfect for a large group. Highly recommend!

This is a great location for a large family. Walking distance to the beach and downtown areas. Only reason for overall 4 stars is the lack of some kitchen items-only 1 set of hot mitts for the 2 kitchens and no dish towels that we could find. Also, the knives are horrible and there aren't many coffee cups. Otherwise fantastic and many beach amenities are provided-kids' sand buckets, boogie board, chairs, and beach towels.

Our group found Rebecca and her Moonlight Beach VRBO a wonderful experience! The place was clean, beautifully updated with a lot of beach equipment available for us to use! Rebecca was available and responded quickly to any concerns we had. I would highly recommend staying here!

Our family had a great time, quick walk to the beach, great food like NAPIZZA and shopping. The property comes with a couple chairs so you don’t have to over pack there. Only complaint is really the train but the noise isn’t even terrible would definitely recommend.

We had multiple families celebrating Christmas together in San Diego and we really enjoyed the duplex aspect since we had two babies with us. It let the families with the young children have a quiet separate space and adults that stayed up later had another place to hang out. The location can't be beat. It was great to make a cup of coffee and walk down to the beach to drink it in the morning. We also walked all throughout the neighborhoods, the main street in Encinitas as well as up and down Moonlight Beach and Swami's. The inside of the house is newly renovated and everything was very clean. Everyone had beds that were comfy, no one needed to sleep on a sofa or air mattress and they provided Pack n' Plays for infants, which was appreciated! The exterior of the house could use some love for the price point: ie loose carpeting on the stairs to the upper unit which people slipped on, cushions on patio furniture were dirty and completely torn to the stuffing and we weren't able to sit on them. But all in all, we had a wonderful stay. Rebecca was great to work with--always quick to respond and easy to get in touch with. This is by far the best option for large groups this close to the beach. I would highly recommend this rental!

Disappointed one bathroom didn't work but it was a very close walk to the beach. Wonderful weather!!

This was a great place to stay and Rebecca was very, very responsive and accommodating. I am staying again in a couple of months!

We had a wonderful time with our family! The inside of the house was spectacular. Only negative thing I can say is the railing on the outside stairs is rusting away and we almost had a family member fall down the stairs because of it. The cement on the stairs is also crumbling away. So as long as people stay off the back stairs All is perfect ☺️

All 16 of us had a wonderful time. The only disappointment was the dining table and the benches instead of chairs. Chairs would’ve been more comfortable. We all spent most of our time downstairs and spent a lot of time sitting at the table. The outside of the building could use some trees or color or landscaping to look more impressive. It is really a great place to stay and highly recommend it to others

We travelled as a group of 16 (5 adults, 11 children) and had a great stay. The property is perfect for large groups having many separate bedrooms including a couple of 'bunk bed' rooms. There are large living areas and kitchens, as well as private garden spaces. The property also has off-road parking space for about 4 cars. The property is just a few minutes walk from the beach, and a few minutes drive from the main roads. The owner, Rebecca, is very helpful and pleasant and resolved a minor problem we had in the same day that we contacted her. All in all we had a fantastic stay and I can definitely recommend this property.

Overall we had a great experience, as we rented both the bottom flat and the top flat for a one week family vacation of 16 adults & kids. The interior of each home was clean and modern, and the patio is more spacious on the bottom unit than for the top unit. Parking is very easy for large SUVs and trucks, and the location/walk to Moonlight Beach is approx. 7-10 minutes depending on your urgency. Overall a great experience for a large group wanting to be in Encinitas.
