This 1 bedroom apartment is full of interesting art. It is clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic. The warehouse district has amazing restaurants and art galleries. Safe and easy to walk through the area. You can walk or take a taxi ($7), bus or street car to the Quarter or Garden District. Excellent place to stay. Matilde was helpful and friendly.

Absolutely lovely to have been able to wander in the French Quarter as often as our hearts desired, thanks to the proximity of the condo. Yet, it was equally lovely to be away from the party noise and cheers, surrounded by delightful lofts and historically charming buildings. The artsy feel of the condo with high ceilings and tasteful works of art fit perfectly in that decor. The neighborhood is very clean and safe (as is the access to the condo building). Air exchanger/conditioning was a bit noisy, as can be Magazine street by night when you open the windows. And we would've appreciated more appropriate kitchen attire to cook meals "at home"; which was our intent when we rented the flat with a kitchen. But there is no doubt that Matilde and Gustavo were warm, kind, caring, accommodating, available, welcoming and attentive; which was crucial to our level of appreciation of this colorful, vibrant and absolutely mesmerizing city. Oh by the way, check out the Saturday morning Farmer's Market in the nearby parking lot....best bread we've ever tasted!

The condo was conveniently located and an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go, including the river, French Quarter and wonderful restaurants. No vehicle needed. Lovely decor, including original artwork by the owners, and all the comforts of home. Matilde and Gustovo are the most gracious of hosts and went out of their way to make our stay exceptional.
