We chose a very cold weekend in January to stay, but it was such a beautiful view of the lake with snow all around. I definitely recommend this place to stay. Stan was a great host with an awesome property! I do recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise from the living room, dining room, or patios. It was breathtaking!

Great location. Nice grounds/lake access. Washer/dryer was very convenient. We had a nice fire in the pit by the lake. We’d do it again!

This property is great! Nice location on the lake with access to kayaks, paddle boards, and a boat for rental. We loved everything. Short drive to the store, and close to downtown. Stan was very responsive and accommodating. This spot is pet friendly, and we will definitely book again and bring our dogs. Stay here!!

It is sometimes hard to find lake rentals that allow dogs. This one fit the bill. Easy lake access for the dogs down steps to the lake from the lawn. We all enjoyed swimming off the dock. Beautiful views from both balconies. Kitchen had everything we needed. The house was in a great location and we enjoyed our weekend away from the rat race.

House was just as expected from the listing and others reviews. Stan was great and very responsive! Kitchen has everything you need (minus a colander for pasta but no biggie). We rented the boat and spent some time on the water. Grocery store is right down the road. The German restaurant in downtown Hot Springs is amazing along with Lost Creek Grill. Dont waste your money at the Back Porch Grill. We really enjoyed the house. We had 2 adults, 3 teenagers and a child and it was plenty of room for us! I can see where the stairs and backyard might be an issue for somone with mobility issues but for us it was fine!

We both enjoyed our stay at Stan’s lake house. Beds were comfy, ac worked great, kitchen well stocked, and view was beautiful. Communication with Stan was always prompt & he was very accommodating with our needs. Beautiful lake & river ♥️

It is an amazing house and host as well! The place was perfect for our family if 3 and the boat was especially nice to have and use as we wished. Can’t wait to return! Stan is wonderful and responds quickly. The only thing is the stairs in the house are very narrow and steep going downstairs so you have to be careful - it would not be easy for older people to get down. Otherwise it is great and the beds are very comfy!

Wow, we had so much fun at Stan's home. Incredible view and access to the lake! The home had everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen (two kitchens), two lovely decks, a boat to rent on property and a very responsive host. The location of the home was ideal, being minutes away from the grocery store and restaurants, but felt like we were in a remote setting. Cannot provide enough positive feedback on Stan, since he always responded quickly and was so nice!

Stan was very responsive throughout the week. We rented his pontoon and it made all the difference to be out in the lake. There are some great sand bars to hang out on and restaurants along the water! The stairs inside and the steep walk to the water may be difficult for older folks since I was struggling LOL. You can see the neighboring properties as they are closer to the water however it really did not bother any of us much. Great place at an affordable price!

Stan was a great host. He was exceptionally responsive. Everything turned out okay. The top floor shower would not get hot, but my husband was able fix that. We didn’t have sheets for the pullout sofa, but we made it work with blankets for the kids. The lake water was too cold to enjoy as we expected, but the view was lovely. The steepness of the property to the lake didn’t bother us at all. The debris near the dock was gross, but not much you can do with spring lake trash. The neighbors dog harassed us a bit, but he was all bark. Neighborhood is a bit run down.

Stayed early March before the lake was filled. Enjoyed the 2nd story deck that overlooks the lake. For anyone with mobility issues take note that the back yard is steep and the stairs into the house and to the first floor inside the house are awkward. The house has a well stocked kitchen with any pot, pan, or appliance you may need. Stan was an exceptional host and answered all my questions promptly.

Our party of four adults (and two furry babies) truly enjoyed our stay at Stan’s property! The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed, allowing for the opportunity to cook all of our meals on site, and we LOVED the view of the lake.

This was a great property for our family to get away for a week. The owner is amazing to work with and the lake view was the relaxation we were looking for.

Well stocked kitchen, cozy home with a beautiful view of the river. Very relaxing! Cooked steaks on the grill, deck was perfect. There are some steep steps to the home and the steps to the lower level were steep and narrow. Other then that we had a wonderfuel time.

We had a very relaxing stay. The house is in a great area, right on the lake! It was clean and comfortable. Can't wait to come back when it's warmer to enjoy more of the water activities, but the fall foliage was gorgeous! The owner was very accommodating and easy to contact. Will definitely recommend!

My wife and I loved our stay at Stan’s place. First off, Stan was very easy to work with and communication was stellar throughout our stay. The house isn’t fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The view was nice. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on location was that the house sits back a ways from the lake and two other homes to the left and right are closer to the lake, so you do see them in your view from the back porch. It’s not bad, just something to be aware of if you’re looking for more privacy. The location of the house within the Hot Springs area was great with pretty much everything you would want to do and see within 15-30 minute drive. There is a Harp’s grocery store 2 miles away, which was convenient. If you like Mexican food, try Trejo's Mexican Restaurant across the street from Harps. We loved having the option for renting the pontoon boat with the house, which we did and enjoyed a full day on the lake. Our timing was perfect as we only saw a dozen other boats on the lake that day and the weather was perfect. We cruised to Fisherman’s Wharf, docked the boat, and ordered lunch. There are several good restaurants on the lake where you can do this for lunch or dinner. Stan recommended a stop at “Sunset Cove Marina & Resort” to fuel up the boat, and that was a fun experience itself …go there and you’ll see what I mean, have a free popsicle and get a special autographed map of the lake! We spent a day at Garvan Woodland Gardens (about 25 minutes away) and highly recommended a visit. Be sure to allow plenty of time for a long stroll through the gardens and don’t miss seeing Anthony Chapel. If you have kids, the children’s garden area treehouse and rock gardens will be a hit.

Had a great time on the lake with my family. Good communication and easy-going. Very flexible with check-in and checkout times. Really enjoy the boat. Would highly recommend to others.
