My family and I spent a wonderful long weekend at this property over Labor Day and had so much fun. The proximity to sand and water made it so much more relaxing with kids, and the kitchen was stocked with every cooking item we might need. Plenty of towels, sand toys, and even the outdoor shower was just perfect. I highly recommend! The only downside to our stay was that we continued to find long black hairs throughout the house—in newly made beds, among stacks of clean dishes, and even in the dishwasher! The master bath floor was covered in hair and had clearly not been cleaned before our arrival (we actually vacuumed the bathroom ourselves), which put a bit of a damper on our stay, questioning how well the rest of the house had been cleaned. But overall (with perhaps a owner/cleaning company conversation that fixes this issue) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely visit again. Many thanks to the owner for allowing us to stay at her property.

This home is stunning....from the beautiful Lake Michigan views that greet you when you enter the living room, to the design and décor throughout the house. Everything is thoughtfully, tastefully and stylishly done, with a very relaxing and beachey color scheme. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen I've encountered in a vacation rental - by far! Great sound system and WiFi. The lower level had tons of beach towels, quality beach chairs and sun umbrellas and loads of toys to take down to the beautiful beach - that has no stairs, just a gentle sandy slope to your private paradise. This is a plus compared to so many beach rentals on Lake Michigan, that often involve many dozens of steps down to the water. The hot tub on the patio was a great perk, we especially enjoyed sitting in there with our morning coffee. Watching the magnificent sunsets from the lovely fire pit area was a daily highlight. We barely left the house because there simply was no need to do so. You will notice quality throughout the home, from the furnishings, mattresses and linens down to the smallest detail...like Bounty paper towels - not the flimsy cheap ones you so often get in rentals! Owners Paula and David were great to work with, very attentive and flexible. House Manager Rosa was always available and quickly responded to texts. Our family all agreed that it was one of the best homes we've rented, and we hope to return again many times in the coming years. What an amazing home and beautiful location! Our family had never traveled to Michigan before, we loved it so much and will definitely be coming back! The private beach was perfect for our kids to play, and the owner had so many fun beach toys, lily pad, kayak, paddle board etc for the older kiddos. Everyone had an amazing time!! Having stayed at Yelton Manor previously some years ago and having taken a day trip with the wife last fall to scout out properties, I was familiar with the area and the 301 N Shore property did not disappoint. Weather which you cannot control could have been better but the property had the space and amenities to make our stay enjoyable with the good and bad weather we encountered. The silver lining was that this past week was surprisingly quiet which allowed fairly easy access to everything we needed.A very memorable trip had by all!

For those who are seeking a COVID getaway while remote working or remote schooling, the wifi works great. There is a nice office with a desk and the bonus room over the garage had a large table that worked well for school work. We had a great time!

This house is also walking distance to town, the harbor, and parks. Overall, I highly recommend this house - it is the most well rounded with great amenities, inviting space and beautiful outdoor area.

This is our second family visit to this house, and we all love it! The house is beautifully decorated, the furniture is comfortable, the hot tub is relaxing, and the beach is perfect. Our grandkids have enjoyed the outdoor firepit, the toys, and the paddleboard, and kayak. Our entire family agrees that we will be back.

This place is just amazing! I can't even describe the incredible time that our group had here. We feel refreshed and rejuvenated! The house is perfect. The grounds are gorgeous. The appliances and everything inside the house are fantastic! I can't say enough good. The property owners are so easy to communicate with! Such great people!! Just amazing!!!

We came to this property in South Haven with our son, daughter-in-law, and three young adult grandchildren. I cant even begin to describe what a relaxing, beautiful property this is. The view, the beach, and having the kayak and paddleboard were just amazing. As my grandson would say, "It was awesome." The house is beautiful. Everything is high end: comfortable furniture and beds, thick towels, soft blankets, wonderful kitchen appliances, fantastic baths and showers, lots of televisions, huge hot tub, and great outdoor cooking area with a big grill and ice maker. All three outdoor sitting areas, one on each level, are comfortable with outstanding views. We loved our visit and hope to stay again soon.

Beautiful house right on the lake. Exceptional views from the bedrooms, main floor and a very fun deck/back yard area. Great place to relax and listen to the waves.

My husband and I rented this home for two weeks in August. The home is spacious and well maintained - the perfect setting for spending quality time with family. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The home is close to town - yet just far enough away to feel private and quiet. We would highly recommend this property.

The owners could not have been more friendly even giving us restaurant recommendations for our stay. Getting in and out of the house was very simple so that was another plus from the owners making our trip as great as possible. The entire trip and rental is worth it just to watch one sunset from the balcony, the beach, the deck, the fire pit or even the hot tub! The house was great for 9 adults (which we had), and would even be a great rental for kids because the beach is literally a 15 second walk from the house and there is another wing of a house that they could play games in. We all took walks along the beach and took jogs through the trails that are less than a mile away. It could not have been a better family weekend. I would highly suggest this house to other renters unless it was on a weekend that we want to rent again!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting and home. The view was breathtaking. Amenities, superb! We rented this home for a family get together and it was fantastic. The house itself is first class and the location is terrific. You are just steps away from a private beach and yet you can walk forever on the sand. The water is shallow, perfect for small children. The home has boogie boards,etc. and there is a great place to rent kayaks and paddle boards 1/2 block away. The kitchen is ultra modern and the grill worked great to cook on the deck watching the sunsets. The fire pit made it possible to have s' mores. Walking distance to town as well. You like shopping? Great stores downtown. You like golfing? Try Beeches golf Club or Hawkshead a few minutes away. How about picking raspberries and blackberries. Just minutes away as well. The home has a super big room above the garage for the kids and mucho TV's. The four bedrooms are spacious, especially the Master bedroom. Try the water jets in the shower for a great experience. I would highly recommend this property and we hope to return.
