Amazing view. Wonderful yard. Plenty of room in the 2 bedroom 2 bath. Very quiet area. Short walk to private beach area. Short walk to general store in town. Could use a few upgraded amenities.

House was booked in the early 2024. The day of our vacation while traveling we were informed that we could not go to property due to plumbing issues. Vacasa moved us to another house. We were supposed to enjoy an ocean view and instead were stuck in the sand dunes. We were disappointed in our stay and will not book this house again.

Waking up to the ocean at your backdoor.... incredible! IMHO,The furniture could use an update.

Amazing views - especially from the top deck. Lots of deck chairs & blankets. Hot tub is great! Smooth & easy interactions with property management. House is somewhat dated, reasonably well-stocked, very clean & has some nice upgrades. Neighbors on each side, but the house has a very secluded, romantic feel. Location is remote & on a quiet street. Get your groceries in Fort Bragg. Pantry was sparsely stocked but adequate, showers were small but adequate. Plenty of bathroom towels, beds were comfy & warm. Kitchen layout is a bit funky & the kitchen lighting could certainly be updated: The days we stayed were dark & rainy. At times we needed a flashlight in the kitchen to see well during daylight hours. (I suspect if was bright & sunny out we'd have had no problems). We had good wine, good coffee & good attitudes, so we loved our stay!

This place is a nice place to getaway! It is about 25-30 minutes from Fort Bragg. The only thing that could change that to a longer duration is if you have to wait at the construction light that is on the hill. They had a landslide there that they have been working on for years. The home is perfect for a small family. It has two rooms and one bathroom upstairs. The downstairs has one bathroom. (Caution for the downstairs bath. Every time we go there, there is inevitably a black widow spider.) The view is amazing, especially since they repaired/replaced the windows downstairs! I would rate this property 5 stars if the owners would do some upgrades. The sofas in the living area sink very low. If you are bringing an older person with you or if you have a back issue, it is very difficult to sit in and get out of, even for my young teenagers. If the owners would replace the pans it would be good... definitely bring your own frying pan. The one they have is really warped and unusable. If they put a screen on the sliding door downstairs that would be a bonus so you could leave the door open and enjoy the fresh sea air! Also, if they would take better care of the bug problem in the home. That would be super appreciated. This rental is a lovely place to rent because the view. Nothing like having the ocean right in the backyard.

Best part about this place is sitting in the hot tub enjoying to spatular view of the ocean.
