Great place to stay, had everything we needed, and host were great. Fishing was good too, caught lots of bass and panfish.

We have stayed in this cabin 3 times now as a family (2 children, my wife, and my parents). It is really a lovely cabin on a nice little lake. The kitchen is well appointed with dishes, cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. The location is about 15-20 minutes from Hayward. Nice and quiet/serene, but still close to town if you need anything. Fishing on the lake is decent. We caught mainly bluegill with a few small bass and a few smaller pike. We have also rented a pontoon on nearby Round Lake which is a very nice, very large lake with great fishing. The hosts are really fantastic. They live in the cabin next door and are so kind. They let us use their coffee grinder, loaned us some powdered sugar to save a trip into town, and even helped us look for the kids who had gotten a little adventurous out in the kayaks and we couldn't see them on the main part of the lake. Doug and Gloria are really just so friendly and accommodating and want to make sure you have a good time. Highly recommend this cabin (just not when we want it again)!

This was our 7th year staying at Doug & Gloria's cabin for our annual family gathering (6 adults&4 kiddos). Every year the cabin is very clean, well-stocked, and well-maintained. Doug & Gloria provide excellent communication and are extremely accommodating. They live next to property. They go above and beyond in every aspect of host. This wouldn't be our 7th year if it wasn't a great place with kind and caring hosts. Looking forward to year 8!

This house is beautifully appointed. Beds were comfortable. View is awesome. And I bet in summer it would be grand fun. We only slept and rested there during our fall family reunion.

This cabin is beautiful and inviting! You could not ask for anything more! Doug and Gloria have thought of everything a person would ever need when they furnished this cabin. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat, pool table, fire pit and sat on the dock listening and watching the loons. Sure did not want to go home. Thank you Doug and Gloria for sharing your amazing cabin! This was our second visit and we will be back!!

Relaxing R&R time on quiet lake with kayaking and bird watching (mostly loons). Awesome. This was our second visit, highly recommend, but brought our own shade (umbrellas) for the dock.

My husband ended up working late so we made it there a day late and the owners refunded us for that night out of the kindness of their hearts! The cabin was incredibly beautiful. Super clean. And the decor gave you a homey feeling in the north woods! I’m still in awe about it. Our boys had a great time fishing off the dock and the owners let us play with all their toys. I honestly couldn’t be happier and have no negatives at all! I highly recommend

The views from the home are lovely, and the lake is beautiful. Fishing overall is average, although my husband did land a 40" musky! The kids enjoyed swimming from the dock as well as the sandbar. The cabin feels remote, yet is within 10-15 minutes of a Walmart for any needed or forgotten items. Doug and Gloria are awesome - available for any questions and warm/welcoming. I highly recommend this cabin :)

Have stayed here for several years. Always some improvements from the prior year. Home is always in tip top shape. We will be renting again next year.

Our group had 6 adults and 2 kids and this cabin was the perfect set up! The hosts were so helpful and thought of every detail to make our trip so relaxing!!! We booked for next summer already and we just left!

It's comfortable. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need for cooking. We were there with 2 other couples. The place is large enough that we didn't feel like we were tripping over each other. There's a lot to do within driving distance. Great restaurants close by. Or if you wish just a great place to hang out and relax. The lake is beautiful. There is amazing wildlife to see. It's a place we will return to again.

We had campfires at with firewood provided. There was kayaks and a paddle boat for our family to use. Everything was perfect. Thanks Doug and Gloria!!!

My husband, myself, and my friends family stayed at the lake house and had a great time! We fished, used the paddleboat, and played pool. It was a bit cold and windy so we weren't able to use the screen porch as much as we would have liked but you can't predict the weather in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. I would recommend this property to anyone who needs some time to relax. The basement was perfect for the 4 teen/tween girls because they had their own bathroom, bedroom, and TV.

We loved the cabin was tucked away and secluded, yet close to Doug & Gloria for any needs. Doug was so very attentive making sure we were comfortable and answered any questions we had. very nice place ,roomy and comfy. Did not like that there were homes right next to us on both sides. We were told at 5 p.m. to turn the radio down even though a sign said quiet time was 10 p.m. Would not go there again because of that fact
