Jill's place is WONDERFUL! Location can't be beat. She has everything you need for your stay, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys for every child. You just need to bring your clothes and get ready to enjoy the most wonderful time in Michigan City. The kitchen is also supplied with all you need. Washer and dryer is so nice to wash everything up after being at the beach. The place is roomy, nobody on top of each other. Stay here and you will not be dissatisfied .❤️

Amazing trip! Short walk to the beach. Quiet street. Parking spots provided was a must for us. Property was clean and had everything we could need to make a perfect trip. We will be returning for years to come!

This home was amazing!! Communication with the owner was easy and fast response. Home was clean and had everything for the beach. The walk to the beach was so close and easily a accessible due to the blue walking path. Hands down best place to rent for a beach weekend. Looking forward to rent again!!

When we got to the apartment it was so clean and spacious, everything you needed was available if you didn’t bring it. We had the top unit and we could see the lake from there it also had a balcony with chairs to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors. It was also less than a 5 min walk to the beach which was wonderful. Jill was also so helpful when we had any questions. Will definitely book again!

Overall we enjoyed our time and it is a perfect location for walking to the beach with little kids!

My family loved our stay here-it is literally a 5 minute walk from the beach. There are so many beach toys, towels and chairs to choose from in the basement. The unit we stayed in (upstairs) is even bigger than the photos showed. My two small children, husband, myself and mother all lived comfortably. It is very kid friendly and has a gorgeous patio. Jill was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be staying again!

We stayed upstairs and the rooms were big, clean and well kept. The balcony was nice and there was plenty of parking. The location was amazing! 1/2 block to the left or right and there is a path to the beach. The communication process was seamless and clear! Thank you for letting us stay for a quick trip with our college aged kids! Great times!

Everything was provided for, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, living room that we could watch the Olympics at night, and a hose to wash our feet when we return from the beach. What was scary it was I didn’t know that there was people living downstairs, using the shower and the washer dryer!!

Just a short walk to a less busy area on the beach! We had 8 total people and it didn’t feel cramped at all. Large rooms with plenty of amenities!

This property was awesome. Plenty of room for everyone. A short walk to the beach that was not crowded. Close to the zoo and parking for the lighthouse. Excellent communication with Jill, the property owner.

We have never been to Michigan City and this house was a perfect opportunity to experience the lake and the beach! A short walk to the beautiful sand made it a memorable trip with our littles. Jill is a great host and responds quickly to any questions.

Wonderful property!

Steps from the beach is right. We walked up the path every single day. Twice. The house was spotless and big enough for the five of us - plus Jill and Brad we’re giving a day between each guest for COVID. We all felt very safe here. A washer and drier in the basement was a HUGE plus for us too! Will stay again!

The vacation exceeded my expectations. The unit was clean and pleasant and the location can’t be beat. I had no idea how nice the area is and how wonderful the lake is. Water is clean with nothing to bite or sting you. Cancelled a Florida vacation and for this and I think it was a very good decision.

The house is in a great location for a short walk to the beach and a slightly longer walk to Washington Park. A cannot say enough good words about our host. Jill was informative and responsive and truly concerned that we enjoy the stay. Would definitely consider another stay.

Our family struggled between choosing staycation at our home in Chicago and going out of town for couple days due to the current health crisis. We made a decision to rent the property as it seemed like a safer option since it has access to the beach, in the past we stayed in hotels. The reality exceeded our expectations. The home is clean and lovely, fully stocked so there is no need to run to the store for some kitchen utensils and steps from a beautiful beach where social distancing was easy to practice. We felt safe, which allowed us to trully relax .

A perfect stay for a weekend together as sisters from 3 various locations. So clean. Jill had everything ready and we all loved the area.

We had a great time spending the week in this unit for a week. Two adults and 4 kids under 6 and this space was perfect. Only about a block walk to beach access. Very large bedrooms. Everything we needed to cook was there. Great variety of beach and water toys onsite. Nice shaded outdoor space. Easy communication with owner. Would recommend and would stay again. Thanks Jill!!

The location was perfect. It was a short walk to the beach where we had beautiful weather! They truly had anything you could possibly need. My kids loved to pick out a different beach toy each day from the huge basement stash! We took a daily walk to the pier, park, and splash pad. My kids' favorite room was the bunk bed room where they watched many of the DVDs stored there. Perfect family location!

Great location and proximity to the beach. Very spacious house. Owner has everything you need for beach life. It was a challenge to carry the kayak to the beach but my kids enjoyed it. I would stay there again!

My husband and our two kids and our friends and their two kids just returned from a wonderful mini vacation in Michigan City. This rental is absolutely perfect! We stayed on the main level and even with 4 adults and 4 kids there still seemed to be ample room to rest and relax. This place was nice, very clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen had every utensil imaginable, plenty of dishes and lots of pots and pans. There is a washer and dryer in the basement for which we were grateful to be able to wash our beach towels and swimsuits before making the drive home. If we weren't on the beach or eating, we could find our kiddos in the basement having a blast playing ping-pong. Don't worry about packing beach equipment because they have you covered... there are extra beach towels, life jackets, tons of beach toys and rafts and beach chairs, and even a couple of kayaks. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and we all feel it was definitely too short! My family and I don't vacation very often but we are hoping to make this trip again in the future. I communicated with the owner mostly by email and she was such a huge help, answering all my questions and even gave lots of suggestions. Jill, thank you so much for sharing your place with us! I think it's a gem and look forward to staying again sometime!

Our family of six enjoyed our stay at the house. We especially liked all the extras that were included for the beach. We used the kayaks, raft, beach chairs, and coolers. Loved the short walk to the beach. We were in the upstairs and enjoyed all our meals outside on the porch. The inside furnishings were comfortable too. Our kids loved playing ping pong in the basement and using the grill. We look forward to staying here again and have talked positively to our friends and family about the property. We met Jill and she was very nice and helpful.

This place was a lot more than we expected. We stayed in the bottom unit. It was clean and the bedrooms were big enough to sleep us 7 very comfortably. Everything you could possibly need is here. Beach toys, chairs, rafts, a kayak and lots of towels. The kitchen is fully equipped, there was even a crock pot but we didn't use it. We grilled every night. The washer and dryer was so convenient to wash the towels after a day at the beach. There's a tv in the family room and one in the bedroom that has a vcr player. There's a decent selection of movies and books. The title of this property is very appropriate, the beach is literally a 5 minute walk. There's a zoo about a mile away that's small (2.5 hours to walk through) that's great. We shopped at Meijer for groceries. The owner was always quick to respond to my questions. This was one of the most relaxing trips we've had considering there was 7 of us and 2 were babies. Oh, and the sheets were the softest sheets I've ever slept in. I'd definitely come back here again. Thank you Jill for thinking of everything.

A few moms and our kids (teenagers) went up for just two nights. Just fantastic. I don't give it 5 stars because it was super high end or anything. But...I give it 5 stars for the price, location and how well it was represented and so easy to deal with Jill, the owner. We were in the upstairs unit - and the kids were able to stay in the bunk room and the moms stayed in the other two bedrooms. Just perfect for what we needed. I will definitely try to stay here again! Everyone was super friendly and helpful and we had a great time. Thank you!

What a beautiful vacation home. The owners have thought of every detail! We stayed in the top unit where you could see Lake Michigan. Location, location, location!!!!! Loved the size and decor of the place. Every amenity available in the well stocked kitchen. The unit is immacutale. Being from Florida, it was so enjoyable to sleep with the windows open and the cool fresh air breezing throughout the room. As well, we loved the expansive deck, where after a long day at the beach, we would wind down and enjoy an evenig cocktail. The proximity to the beach is a one block, 3 minute walk over the dune where you sit in the (singing sand) and enjoy the panoramic views of the sunset with a backdrop of the lighthouse and Chicago skyline in the distance. A must see!!!!! Now after the sun has dropped below the horizon, you can see a blanket of stars over the lake. After we got back from the beach, we decided to venture out to one of the many local restaurants within a 10 minute drive. We also went to the zoo, which was within walking distance. Towards the end of our week stay, the weather was a little cooler, so we went horseback riding and to the apple orchards. Lots of fun activities in close proximity to this wonderful home. Everyone that we encountered on our vacation were very warm and friendly. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise!!! Will definitely be back, and highly recommend this place to our family and friends.

Our family stayed in the main floor unit and loved it! The owner was awesome about answering questions before our arrival. The condo was very clean and stocked with anything and everything you could think of. Short walk to the beach and centrally located to many Michigan City attractions. We will definitely be returning!

We just returned from a week at your lovely condo! We were nervous about the size from the pictures, but it had all the room we needed and we even had friends come from Fort Wayne and stay a couple of days! Plenty of room for everyone! The front porch was perfect for reading, eating a meal or playing board games. I have never stayed in beach house so well equipped with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc. What a nice surprise! I could go on and on, but the main point i want to make is this condo is wonderful! Enjoying our stay was so easy because of the thought and care you provided! Thank you so much! P.S. Ann is a gem!

We just returned from a short stay in the three-bedroom unit on the main floor. We were very comfortable with four adults and two young children, and we were especially happy with the super short walk to the beach. It was very nice to only lug our beach things and two kids about half a block before we climbed the dune to the shore. The owner was very kind, answering my many, many questions right away and made it easy to rent. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the house and very much appreciated the menus (good pizza recommendation!) on the cork board. We'd love to do this next summer too!
