Great place to stay for 2 people if you are in Rossland. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything you can ask for and the place itself is modern and updated. The place was spotless and the hosts also added a little extra to make us welcome such as a box of cookies from the local bakery and coffee from the local roastery. Super friendly and very considerate hosts. We also parked in the heated garage and had ample space to store our skiing gear. Would definitely stay here again!

Our host(s) went above and beyond to make our stay in 'the loft' extra special. Cathy has thought of everything you could possibly need to make 'the loft' feel like home and generously treated us to local goodies upon our arrival. Very well appointed, spotlessly clean and all COVID protocols followed to keep us and her community safe.

Beautiful suite. Cathy was an excellent host- really appreciated all the extra little touches -the only downside was lack of outdoor patio space to appreciate the magnificent valley view. Overall highly recommended.

My husband and I had an amazing stay here. It was extremely clean, modern and had great mountain views. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. We were traveling with our mountain bikes and were able to store them in their garage and felt that very safe and secure there. The bed was comfortable, everything we needed to cook was in the kitchen. Will definitely come back and highly recommend!

What a gem! We were delighted to spend a (sadly, too short) weekend at the KC loft. It is stunning here! The studio is brand new and done with impeccable taste and attention to detail. Cathy is a terrific host and made us right at home before leaving us our privacy. And the view! Morning sunrise over the valley and mountain range are amazing. Close to downtown yet so quiet it feels far from everything and everybody. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect place for a couple. Owners very helpful. Kitchen had full complement of cooking utensils. We plan on returning to the area and will rent this unit again.

This place was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. Cathy was an amazing host, making sure we had everything we needed and even allowed us to check in early/check out late. Cathy thought of absolutely everything and stocked items not necessarily expected which made our visit perfect. It's a short 5-10 min walk to groceries and a quick 5 min drive to Red Mountain. When we go back to Rossland, we'll be booking this place again.

There is so much positive to say about the rental property: Cathy and Julian were helpful and knew so much about the area. The location was great: close to town and a short travel to ski resort. The unit was well equipped and the kitchen fully functional with high end, virtually new appliances (Miele washer/drier, Miele dishwasher, and oven). On the negative side, the unit had no view but there were windows with good natural lighting. Because the unit was above the garage, snow build up on the roof mostly obstructed any potential view. Because the unit was located above the garage, there was a short walk up to the door, which would be problematic for someone unable to do stairs. The place very well sound insulated. Heating was by baseboard steam heat which was quiet and efficient. This is a great spot for a two person quiet getaway. We would be happy to stay here if we return to Rossland again.

The accommodations are quiet, quite comfortable and very clean. the kitchen is well equipped with lots of cookware and dishes. The appliances are all quite new. The property owners are very pleasant, and always available to help out if needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at KC Loft! Additionally, Cathy and Julian were incredibly gracious and helpful hosts. The loft is essentially brand new, beautiful and well cared for. The space was perfect for two people - very well appointed and comfortable. Everything you'll need for your stay has been thoughtfully provided (including a parking space in the garage!) The location is very close to town and the ski area. Although we were in town when there were enormous snow banks, the view from the property is gorgeous. I highly recommend the KC Loft for anyone traveling to Rossland or Red Mt. Resort. We'll be back!

Cathy and her husband Julian are the perfect hosts- they greeted us warmly, showed us the property and were kind enough to salt and shovel every morning. The apartment is absolutely perfect- clean, modern, full of all necessary amenities and very charming. We loved our stay and the proximity to Red Mountain (~10 minutes) was excellent. We would highly recommend this property to friends and family. We hope to return some day!

It was great to stay in a property where the owner has paid so much attention to the detail. Everything had a place and was so well presented. The property was located close to the main streets of Rossland and a short drive to Red Mountain. Highly recommended.

While the weather didn't exactly co-operate, once we found our way to the loft (with Cathy's timely assistance), we were very happy with the space. The heated garage is a bonus, even though it wasn't particularly cold, it was rainy, and having a dry spot to set things out of the car before schlepping them up the stairs to the loft was very helpful. I also liked not having to worry about losing the key! Code lock is awesome. Once the owners get the landscaping done, I can easily imagine enjoying the morning sunshine, sitting outside at a little table, enjoying the view over my tea. Area is very quiet and there are a wide variety of entertaining outdoor activities available from the doorstep but, as we were a little under the weather, we found the hills somewhat daunting but enjoyed driving out to explore the surrounding attractions. Next time, we will definitely do some hiking and get to some of the day use huts that have been established by a local outdoor group. All in all, a lovely, restful experience in a beautiful corner of BC.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at KC Loft! It's a beautifully appointed rental suite located just a few minutes from the heart of Rossland. The suite had everything we could need and more! The owners were lovely and very helpful and had lots of advice about the local area. We skied a day at Red Mountain and loved how close it was to the suite. There are also a ton of snowshoe / hiking trails just a few short blocks from KC Loft. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed staying at the KC LOFT in Rossland. CATHY has loads of information about local spots of interest. A private entrance is provided to the KC LOFT and PROTECTION for your car IN THE GARAGE. Red Mountain is an easy drive. A mere 5 minutes away. We found the ROCK CUT Restaurant near RED MOUNTAIN to have excellent food in an inviting atmosphere. There's some parking right up by the restaurant, so you don't have to park in the secondary lot near the highway. Also is the Rusty Steamshovel down town has good food and service. I would say that the Rossland Brewery is a must stop for a PINT and a little local flavor. Happy hour starts at 4:30 -5:30 in the bar upstairs at Red Mountain. My wife and I had a great time skiing Red Mountain BC. The lifts are a little slow, but the snow and terrain were exceptional. Cathy and Julian made our stay memorable. Would recommend this spot. We had a fantastic week staying at the KC Loft and skiing Red Mountain. The loft seemed much larger to us than it appeared on the pictures - it had beautiful high ceilings and a spacious living space and bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with brand-new kitchenware and appliances. We really enjoyed cooking our meals and taking advantage of the popcorn maker! Cathy and Julian were excellent hosts and very welcoming. They daily shoveled the drive from snow and allowed us to park in their garage. Overall, it was a great choice and we had a perfect stay!
