House and amenities as described. Located on a nice section of the lake with minimal boat traffic. We enjoyed swimming every day in the clean, weedless water. The kayaks and equipment worked nicely for the 4 of us. The screened porch was a pleasure. While as others have mentioned it is a trip to the bathroom at night, the hallway is well lit and we made it work with 2 couples. A special place.

We loved this place and plan to come back! We loved that it was right on the water. It was perfect for our trip.

Located literally on Saranac Lake, the property location cannot be beat. In between Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake, it is easy to get to both. We dined in Saranac and had a great time. Close by hiking is world class. The house is a little funky, but worked well. The only downside for me (63 y/o male) was the downstairs bathroom location for the middle of the night sojourn. Other than that all was good! Cheers!

We were awestruck when we arrived at Panther cottage. the location right on the lake is breath-taking and the cottage itself is gorgeous. The cabin is appointed perfectly- lovely rustic furniture and furnishings, yet simple and uncluttered. The beds are comfortable. One bedroom faces the lake, and one faces the beautiful cliff behind the house with floor to ceiling windows. The host, Jackie, was very responsive to any questions we raised via email. Internet service was good in the house, cell service was pretty non-existant. The cabin is close to both towns of Tupper Lake and Saranac Lake, with hundreds of trails close by. No lack of things to do. We enjoyed the Wild Center (especially the Forest Music walk), and we kayaked every day with the boats kept on the property. The lake is very clean and we must return so we can explore more of this area!

My friend & I really enjoyed the Cabin, its had everything we needed. Great view & the loon cry's are a bonus!

What a wonderful stay we had at Panther Cottage! The house was exactly how it appears in the pictures. Very clean and a great location as far as traveling to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. We enjoyed sitting out on the dock in the evening and especially enjoyed the beautiful sunrise. Would highly recommend a week stay at Panther Cottage!

This place is pure magic - it’s quiet location on the lake, it’s right on the water, and is it’s perfect size for our family. We spent most of our trip sitting on the dock, kayaking or swimming. We saw humming birds, deer, loons and otters! I will forever remember waking in bed to the amazing sunrise and hearing the loons wail. Can’t wait until next year where we will most certainly be booking again. It was our best family vacation ever!

Our annual fishing trip was fantastic, in large part due to the ease and enjoyment of staying at Panther Cottage.

Panther Cottage was wonderful. It was the perfect getaway for our fall Adirondack adventure. The cottage was clean and super cute. This late in the season we had almost the entire end of the lake to ourselves. Misty Adirondack sunrises will keep us coming back.

We are back home after the most amazing week at your cottage!! It might be one of the best vacations we have ever had! Loved everything about the cottage- location, loons on the lake (6 of them every morning fishing and preening in front of us), coffee on the screened in porch, wine on the dock, hiking mountains, canoeing . And by the way, the drive was a breeze - no issue at all going up or down! Thank you for sharing such a special spot !

We can summarize this cottage and this location in one word: magical. This is one of the most serene places we've ever had a chance to visit and the cottage was perfect for our needs. If it were my own home, I wouldn't change a thing. And being on the lake was spectacular. One in our party is a professional nature photographer. He shared that he had never seen as many stars in the sky as he did on his first night there. I got up at midnight the next night to share the experience. As I looked at the stars, I was treated to two piercing loon calls. Magical. We would all like to come back to this beautiful spot and highly recommend it.

Active family of four, with two teens, took full advantage of kayaks and dock! Beds were comfortable, linens were so soft and cozy, kitchen had plenty of pots/plate ware/spices/condiments ( no oven other than small toaster oven- we used grill ), and a GORGEOUS view of lake from dock, from screened in deck, kitchen, and master bedroom!! It was sooo peaceful!

Well appointed Adirondack cottage. Dishes, furniture, cooking pots were high grade. Beds were very comfortable. Fishing was most enjoyable. We would return.

We had a fantastic time at Saranac Lake. We loved the cottage so much we spent every minute possible on the lake. I think my kids swam and boated five hours straight. The lake was quiet and felt like our own private spot. The cabin was so clean that it felt brand new. The boats and all extras (life vests, grill, landscaping) were useful and enhanced the whole experience. A great intro to the Adirondacks.

Great set up very simple,clean and great view of the lake. Such a peaceful place and beds are great.

We love this place and want to come back. It is right on the lake, beautifully refinished inside, wonderful porch, the upstairs bedroom has a great view out of ~10 windows looking out over the lake. Linens and kitchen equipment the nicest I've seen, even the knives had been sharpened. Only drawback: range top but no stove so forget about making brownies. We grilled all our dinners anyway. The driveway is 4WD in the autumn when leaves are slippery but you can park at the top and walk down.

A perfect getaway to enjoy the lakes and mountains. Whether grilling outside, kayaking or enjoying the sunrises from the screened in porch, the cottage was ideal for our family of four.

We loved our week at Panther Cottage. The beds are very comfortable, you have everything you need in the kitchen (no oven, but we didn't need one), and the lake is beautiful. Really appreciated the canoe and kayaks, and the lake was very quiet the last week of August, a motor boat or two, but almost nobody out on the lake so the boating was great. A bit removed from the town of Saranac Lake, but the quiet and peace were what we needed. A well cared for cheerful place on a wonderful lake.

We enjoyed our stay at Jackie's cottage on Upper Saranac Lake. In fact we enjoyed our stay so much that we didn't want to leave! The cottage itself is the perfect size for about 2-3 people. It's well equipped and well appointed with tasteful cottage decor. It is also immaculate. We made ample use of the screened in porch which has a dining area as well as a sitting area for reading. The living room has Wifi and Netflix for a rainy day or at the end of the day. The cottage itself is situated right along the water with a dock for the boats. We made use of the kayaks and the Canoe. It's easy to make it around a good portion of the lake when the water is calm in the morning... there are plenty of islands and inlets to explore. You can also relax on the dock in one of the Adirondack chairs provided. Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake aren't far to pick up additional groceries if need be. Perfect situation and we wished we could have stayed longer. Enjoy the peace and serenity of the lake.

Lovely location. Quality decor. Very clean and well organized.

The cottage was as beautiful as was described. It was very clean & the wood burning stove made it very cozy. There was an amazing view of the lake out the front & a beautiful view of the woods (which were snowy) out of the back through windows from cathedral ceiling to floor. We didn't attempt to bring our Jeep down the steep driveway as it was covered with wet leaves when we came & proceeded to snow the next few days, but the walk was great exercise! We spent a week at this amazing cottage on Upper Saranac Lake. It had been a bucket list trip for us for years. The cottage had everything we needed. Updated kitchen, cozy living room, comfortable bedrooms and a nice deck right on the lake. We spent our days sunning on the deck, swimming in the lake and paddling around in the provided kayaks and canoe. Our evenings were spent by the fire pit looking at the stars and listening to the sounds of the Loons. It was one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever had.
