Great location for the beach and walking distance to the shops and restaurants

The location of Sunshine Cove really made our vacation. It’s a nice, quiet street, so close to the beach, and an easy walk to restaurants. Tess was very timely with all communications. The accommodations were okay. Although there was no loose/surface dirt, the walls, doors, and baseboards were dirty. The kitchen is small, with nice appliances, minimal drink ware (glad we had our own), chintzy silverware, enough pots/pans, 2 sizes of crockpots! (this in a small kitchen) - overall enough to survive. The bathroom is tiny, but plenty of 1-ply TP, soap, and towels. The bed is comfortable- too big for the room, but it works. Plenty of drawer space in bedroom & some closet space. Living area strangely setup. Furniture too far from TV, or at a strange angle. Pool area/tiki were nice. To get there you walk out the front door and around the side, to the back of the house. Sometimes a little awkward sharing with the neighbor. Our neighbor was very nice, but did use the tiki as his smoking lounge. Nice having a washer/dryer. Wi-Fi not strong enough to work reliably at the pool. Much of the outdoor/beach furniture is weathered, as well as the bikes & beach carts. But the location of this place makes up for the minimal accommodations!

We got in a couple hours early which was nice! Walked to a coffee shop each morning, packed a cooler(provided) with ice from backyard icemaker and headed to the beach. We found a chaise and umbrella rental place on the beach which was more comfortable than low beach chairs. Very relaxing stay. Recommend Shuckers and Hoosiers in Paradise for meals!! There's also a beach bar that had entertainment !!

I rented the whole house for me and my spouse to stay on one side and my daughter and her husband to stay on the other side. It was perfect for us to be together and each family have our own space. The pool and outdoor area were definitely the best features of the property. The house is smaller than I expected with too much furniture for the space. The showers are tiny. The cabinets were not very well stocked and what is there is poor quality. We enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach. It is about a mile to times square pier so easily walkable for us, but might not be for everyone.

Very clean house and pool. My husband and I stayed on one side of the duplex and our friends stayed on the other, so we had the pool to ourselves. Some of kitchen items were a little mixed (no scissors on one side, barely any utensils/cups on the other) so if no one is staying on the other side you might not have everything you need. There was only one umbrella for the beach for both sides to share. Overall a very nice stay! Tess was very helpful in answering a couple questions before we booked. She was very responsive during our stay as well.

Overall good experience, easy booking and great communication with the owner

We had a great time at this property. The house and pool were exactly as advertized. The walk to the beach took 2 mins and everything we needed was at the house. We would definately rent this house again.

Love the place, ac in room can be replaced

Place was just the right size for 2 adults and our dog. Had all supplies we needed. Air conditioners in the 2 rooms kept the place at the right temp. for us. Only wish is that the shower had been bigger. Didn’t get warm enough water for 1 shower but we survived.. Bathroom sink pressure was almost always low but that worked out in the end too. Pool, ice maker, outdoor fridge, bicycles, beach tent, cooler, and wagon were great bonuses! We wouldn’t have survived on the beach without that tent!!! Thanks for a great gem of a place to stay!

We really enjoyed the time we spent at Fort Myers Beach. Our rental was located close to the beach and excellent nearby restaurants. At the same time, its location on a dead-end street limited traffic to a minimum. The pool and tiki bar out back were icing on the cake. Thank you, Tess! John and Coleen Schmillen

Comfortable

We loved our stay here! The location was excellent .. so close to the action yet quiet ... the back pool area is great with the outdoor fridge, freezer and washer and dryer.... loved playing cards on the outdoor bar area ... bed was comfy❤️ We hope you come back again next year with our friends so we can share the duplex with them!

This place has it all. Great for a family. Our family rented both sides of the duplex. Adjoining doors were helpful. Grandkids loved the pool and we were a short trek to the beach. Best of both worlds. Tess was an awesome host. We will definitely rent from her again, if we can find one of her properties available!

One needs to be aware that the home is a duplex and there are other guests next to you that you cannot predict. This can be a plus and or negative. We had a great time.

Super accommodation just minutes from the beach and local eateries along the drive. --- having a private pool and no others to contend with was very relaxing.. Pluses include a several bikes to use as well as a washer and dryer. The housing is well equiped for eating in outdoor sites during the pandemic tho many local restaurants have outdoor accommodations. Totally enjoyed the relaxing site with wifi and cable TV for the Packer games (LOL) Uber was easy for trip to the airport....booked in advance.. Tess rocks.. would definitely stay here again!!!

When we arrived shower had not been cleaned, TV remotes in main room did not work, top of frig very dirty, I turned on vent over stove a ton of stuff came flying out lucky I had nothing cooking on top, last 2 days no hot water, the cupboard over stove very dirtyI feel like should have some money back couldn't even take a shower b4 we left.

This property was close to the beach restaurants and bars . This duplex is just thre houses down from the shamrock but very quiet neighborhood had a great time staying here

Our stay was wonderful. The house is small but PERFECT for a family of 4. We loved everything about it. We LOVED the pool & outdoor tiki bar. The location was perfect to everything, easy walk to the main area of restaurants but just far enough that it’s quiet & away from the hustle & bustle! The beach access was SO nice & such an easy walk! Having the wagon, cooler, umbrella & beach needs were so great! Tess was so easy to get ahold of & great to work with. We can’t wait to return next year & maybe rent the whole house for more family! Great home & vacation place!

Perfect location

Tess is the best....always available...everything you need is there.

A month went so quickly our first time staying here. Loved walking everywhere and could come back from the beach in 3 minutes. The neighbors on this street are so welcoming and we felt very safe walking our little dog everywhere. The shower is small but overlooked this due to how close we were to Times Square. Tess is so friendly and responds quickly to any questions.

I recommend rent both sides with two families and you will have a blast😀

Very clean, great location, excellent pool area

The unit we stayed in is clean and comfortable, the pool, Tiki Bar and out door furnishings are great. The location is perfect, only 1/2 a block to the beach and within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

Very close to the beach in a nice area. Duplex was clean and the pool was wonderful. The only complaint we had was the shower was very small and the ceilings are low. My family(except for me) are between 5'8"-6'3". Tess was very kind and worked with us with our arrival/departure dates.
