Quiet side of the island. We loved the location and enjoyed our walks to get morning coffee and to starfish point. A quick drive to rum point for a relaxing day on the beach. The pool and condo was awesome. Just what we were looking for. We saw lots of starfish and fish on the dock right outside the condo. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us!

We stayed for 3 nights prior to our flight to Little Cayman. Everything was great. Comfy bed, warm private pool in a screened in porch which we used every night. Kitchen is fully equipped but we chose to eat out at Kaibo just a short walk away on our first night, Tukkas on our 2nd and Over the Edge on our 3rd for breakfast and dinner. Rented a mustang convertible from Marshall’s for fun touring. Wish we could have returned for a week after Little Cayman but it was booked. Quiet neighbourhood, beachfront and enjoyed watching the boats go by. Hope to return.

Beautiful private perfect vacation away from the crowds

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the home is very clean, quiet, comfortable, attractive, and very nicely appointed. The location is perfect for anyone hoping to enjoy the most tranquil and unspoiled area of Grand Cayman. Our only minor disappointment is that we were unable to enjoy the private pool because it is so well shaded from the sun that it never warmed up enough to get in. There were no notes/instructions in the house about a pool heater; if there is one, having that information along with other notes left for tenants would be a good addition.

Great Quiet, Beautiful! Had a Great Time

We arrived shortly after 3:00 on the first day of our rental. The key wasn’t in the lockbox, and the door was locked. I started to phone the property managers when my husband decided to ring the bell. An HVAC worker was inside working on the AC. He said he was told we were not checking in until the following day. There was zero communication from the property manager that someone would be in the unit. Obviously we want the AC to be functioning, but would have appreciated a heads up that the unit wasn’t ready. He was there approximately an hour. His boss called us to say he was going to call the property managers to have housekeeping come back to finish cleaning the unit. Two housekeepers arrived at different times to finish cleaning (putting the bedroom back together, drop off toilet paper and paper towels) after he left. The floors were not clean and didn’t look like they had been mopped thoroughly in awhile. The table on the patio only has three chairs - two of which are cracked/broken and the third one is close to being broken, too, as there is a crack where the seat of the chair connects to the frame. If the unit is intended to sleep four, then just know there aren’t four chairs for the table’s height that you will be able to sit around. And the counter in the kitchen only has three stools. The unit has potential, but needs a refresh from the linens, to furniture to appliances (toaster didn’t have a handle and floor fan in bedroom was broken).

The Pools #1 is amazing. We enjoyed the pool and the beach area. Very Private. The kitchen is stocked and the bed is comfy. The beach chairs were a huge plus. We saw Star Fish right out front. "Over the Edge" is a great near by restaurant. This place does not disappoint. We can't wait to come back!

A/C wasn’t working at check in. No good channels on living room television. No handle on bbq grill. Toaster looked 30 years old. No baking sheet for oven. Fan in bedroom didn’t work.

This home was the perfect getaway for my husband and I to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! The home was immaculate and so private, it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. The location is perfect...so quiet but plenty of restaurants nearby. We took a water taxi out of Kaibo to Camana Bay and an excursion to Stingray City. Super easy and convenient!! The private pool was an amzing plus, I would recommend this home to anyone thats wants a relaxing time away from the hostle and bustle!

Place wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival. Had mold in bathroom, and sand in house. Sink in bathroom didn’t drain properly. Man from company came to house before our checkout time and just walked in.

This property is on The North Sound. Nice Condo, nice little beach area but the water on this side is full of seaweed. That was the only disappointment about the property. The pin drop and address The Pools #1 did not take us to the property. Ask for a street address when booking.

We loved staying at pool1. It’s a perfect place to go if your just looking to relax and unwind.

We loved the fact it was quiet and private!

This was our second time at the Pools. The warm private pool (don't forget to request it) the peaceful gorgeous surroundings and sunrises, the beautiful back roads and Starfish point for walks are just perfect. Rum Point is now open for outdoor dining from 11:30 until a half hour before sunset while they finish renovations. The little grocery store Chisolms and Over the Edge Restaurant is convenient and of course Kaibo a block away. We toured Crystal Caves about a10 minutes drive. That was interesting. Didn't get to our favorite Tukkas on the East side but Mimi's Dive bar was very nice right on the water. Just enjoying the double kayak and warm pool was awesome. There was a little issue with tiny ants but management is wonderful, friendly and everything is taken care of the same day. Loved it!!!

We cannot wait to return. The condo is at the end and very private. Paradise begins out the back door. We enjoyed the Kayak and the paddle boards. The ocean is 20 steps from the back stairs. The water is so beautiful. We found a giant red starfish approximately 17 inches wide in the backyard. A very nice place to drink and dine on the beach is a 2 minute walk out the back door. The condo is lovely and very clean.

We really liked this quaint, comfortable little unit. It had everything we needed to stay for 5 days. It was on the beach, close to starfish point park and beach. You must have a car if you want to sightsee, eat at restaurants or go to the main tourist area. We just wanted a quiet, romantic spot to relax and unwind and be away from the city. If that's what you want, this is the perfect spot.

Private, relaxing. As advertised. Highly recommend this condo.

Really enjoyed this property for 4 nights over Christmas. The condo is as advertised, we rotated between the patio chairs, the pool, and the water each day. Recommend a stingray city/snorkel tour. We are able to work remotely so I checked the wifi speeds and it appears suitable for work and zoom calls. I know the point is to disconnect but if you can spend even more time there why not?! The condo itself if pretty nice, there are some signs of age but nothing too bad. The area will require a car but we did our homework beforehand. We ate dinner at Kaibo and drove to Over the Edge for Lunch one day. It will be even nicer when more of Rum Point opens up. Just a note, there is plant life in the water in this area, did not matter to me but your pristine sandy beaches and blue water are not necessarily at this part of the island. That being said, water is clear and clean, lots of starfish. Saw more by the condo than at Starfish Point. It's a bit of a shame this place is so booked up for Spring already as we are looking to make it back to this area.

This is a lovely property if you want peace and quiet and plan to stay in for most of your vacation.

Quiet and relaxing, unit had everything we needed.

Perfect! The condo exceeded our expectations. The location was great, especially being the end unit. Having our own pool to swim in at the end of the day was very nice. Being away from the crowds of Seven Mile Beach was the best decision we made. If you're looking for relaxing, quiet, and no crowds, stay on on the north side. We scuba dived, and swam with the stingrays, with the host-recommended company Ocean Frontiers. They were awesome. The condo did not disappoint and we would definitely stay here again.

This was probably THE most amazing vacation experience of our lifetime. #1 at The Pools far exceeded our expectations. SO private, SO quiet, SO exquisitely beautiful. The house was stocked with more "extras" than we could have imagined. It felt like home, if only for a week. We chose this property for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was its remoteness from crowds and tourists. We were able explore the ENTIRE island from our little nest. Our hosts Thelda and Gigi were only a text away when we had a question. The processes of finding, entering, utilizing, and leaving were effortless. The only problem we had was in leaving, we cried because we knew an amazing life's chapter drew to a close :-(... In summary, just SPECTACULAR!!!

We are seniors who like to find the gem in the quiet location. We found it here. Comfortable with amenities. Private pool, use of kayaks, water out the back door. We appreciated the grill and comfortable bed! A short walk to starfish point. We loved the North side of Grand Cayman.

We celebrated our anniversary here during the last week of October. The North Side/Cayman Kai area is beautiful and peaceful. It was low season, so not many condos were occupied, which means we got the beach to ourselves. The condo was immaculately clean, and had basically everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable. The only lacking elements were perhaps in the kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. There are plenty of stovetop pans, but nothing for the oven. Every day we awoke to the sunrise and hot, sunny weather. What I want to clarify, because we were definitely surprised, is that this condo is on the south side of the peninsula that juts out into the sound. The written description says Bodden Town (it's nowhere near Bodden Town) and the pinpoint on the map indicate it is closer to Rum Point. We loved the location, but it's not where we thought it was. Like everyone else mentions, there is sea grass on the private beach. It's also full of starfish, jellyfish and the occasional stingray or tarpon. We loved it. Every morning, we took the kayak over to Starfish Point to swim and read before the tour boats arrived. There are no starfish in the point, but plenty in front of the condo. The island is still reopening, so a lot of restaurants and tours were closed. Kaibo was only open one night during our stay. Rum Point is completely closed. We would love to return, hopefully when everything opens again. Also, our favorite excursion was through Cayman Kayaks. Definitely book the bioluminescent kayak trip through them. It was magical. The whole week was wonderful and restful. We're so grateful for the use of the condo. Thanks again!

Property was great! Awesome views and privacy. Fun to watch boats go in and out of the yatch club. Enjoyed the Kyak and pool!

We had the best time and the house was perfect! We would absolutely come back.

Very quiet and comfortable

Loved this property, it is footsteps from the ocean. Host provided a kayak which was a short trip around the corner to Starfish Point and was walking distance to an amazing restaurant.
