We rented this property for a bachelor trip/LSU game. Owner provided us with all of the information in a timely manner and the house was in great condition upon arrival. Will definitely look at booking again!

So adorable- pulling up it was instantly obvious we would have FUN! Everything you could need is at this property for a lake weekend. House was clean and inviting and slept all 8 of us with room left over! The ice machine on the dock was an absolute plus! My favorite part was probably all of the light in the trees and at boathouse. The family loved this stay and we will be back!

Upon arrival there was a cat litter box at the front door, bottom deck fridge so full we had to empty of someone’s left overs, both garbage cans over flowing at the road from the time we checked in until the day before we checked out! So we had no where for our garbage! The top deck of the dock was so nasty with cans and beer bottles we didn’t even use it! The tv was not covered when we arrived on it either. There was tooth paste splattered on the sink and mirror and the toilet was not clean. The sheets had not been changed from previous renters and floors dirty! Every dish we used had to be hand wash by us before we could use it, and they left a blender on top of microwave with old food blended in it. 2 cans of chewing tobacco laying in the floor of the bunk room along with a face mask. And broken fan and bean bag! And no one mentioned that a dog would be with us at the house the entire time and we couldn’t even eat on the porches without him in our face. This was so embarrassing bringing my in laws to for the first time!!! I’ve stayed at many vrbo and I’m a house cleaner for 3 homes and a church weekly, this was crazy.

This house is perfect for a family vacation. It had plenty of room, shallow water for the small kids, floats, kayaks, paddle boards and water mat all ready to use. They also had an ice machine on the dock which was great!! We will definitely be staying again. Thank you for sharing your home!

My Family had the Best time at this property the owners make sure you have everything you could possibly need. The beach is perfect if you have little swimmers and the dock is amazing for the bigger ones to jump off of. They have a hugh aqua lilly pad that was a big hit with the kids. The Doc is amazing we had such a good time out there. There is a fish feeder on the upper deck that goes off and attracts the fish and turtle's. At night there is a light under the water and you can watch the fish from above. You cannot go wrong with renting this property we will definately be back.

We had 12 adults and one baby stay at the lake house. There are only two bathrooms but it worked out for us. We did have to all get gussied up one morning during or stay but we started early with bathroom rotations and it worked out. The rest of the stay was total relaxation!! The downstairs is nice because it’s totally separate from the other part of the house. 2 very nice built in Queen size bunks down there with a double vanity and a separate room with the toilet and bathtub/shower. Upstairs was spacious enough for us. The bedrooms are small but you’re only sleeping there. The outside is wonderful!! There is a gas grill and a ceramic smoker (we didn’t either of these) and a black stone flat cooker which we did cook a large amount of burgers and hotdogs on. Saturday night our son invited some of his college friends over and my husband cooked a Low Country Boil. The guys had a great time visiting with us. Lots and lots of spaces for everyone to hang out outside. The upper deck at the boat house was a big hit!! There was only one issue we had but my son in law corrected it. The kitchen sink pipe came loose enough that water leaked into the floor. I would suggest the owners properly repair that before more renters stay. To summarize the stay I would say it has a cabin feel due to the size of the sleeping areas but it will work if you’re staying to enjoy the outside. The outside is what is great about this location with lots and lots of entertaining areas and lots and lots of space to park cars. The slough it’s on is great and the views are beautiful!! We would love to stay here again sometime!!!

The property was definitely meant to be enjoyed. They had all the amenities anyone could want on the lake including an amazing deck where we watched football.

Overall the stay was great. The downstairs bedroom need some air freshener. It smells a little old.

Lots of space. Many water activities for everyone. Great view. Highly recommended.

This was a wonderful family weekend. We loved everything about the property, house and lake.

Had no Wifi pretty much the entire stay - which was a plus and a negative, LOL. If you're going there to truly unplug and relax, it's great, but if you have to work, you're outta luck! Plus there's no cable in the house or on the boathouse, it's only Netflix, so if you have no Wifi, you can't watch any TV. Having the Wifi in the evening is nice for the TV or video games for the kiddos - which was just constantly going in and out. The downstairs bunk room was great for the kids, gave us some separation. The furnishings and flooring on the main level could definitely use some upgrading, but beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook. Also, the exterior furniture was nice but all the cushions were little dirty and could stand to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced. Owner provided a tube, and a big float mat which was super nice. All in all, great location, beautiful piece of property. We enjoyed our time!!!!!

We had a group out for a guys weekend and had an amazing time. The house was setup perfectly for 7-8 guys and the dock was amazing. We brought our own boats and spent almost all our time on the water or on the dock. Great accessibility for water activities and tons of space to enjoy the lake. Owner was great to work with and communicated well. We are already discussing our return trip.

The house is great for relaxing at the lake

What a great vacay. The property location was perfect! The slough is set back off the main water just enough so that we could enjoy the water next to the dock without any big waves. Can’t beat the view. Loved the boat house upper deck area several of us took naps up there. Bonfire area next to house was a great evening activity roasting marshmallows. We rented a pontoon boat from Harbor Pointe Marina, which is literally just around the slough from us. We brought our own jet ski and paddle board, and also used the house kayaks. Bring boat shoes for the walk to/from house. Plus you need them on the dock. We overpacked! Seriously, you only need swimsuits, coverups, and pjs. That’s it. Kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need. We grilled, baked, and microwaved. Bedrooms are a bit small, but you have to remember it’s a lake house you’re not in your room except to sleep. So it was fine. The downstairs built in bunk bed room was extremely spacious and the bathroom down there has a tub. One note, this room is only accessible by going outside. If you have teenagers it’s great. We used the washer/dryer several times and they worked perfectly. House is stocked with beach towels for the masses. WiFi worked great and was reachable even at the boat house area. Tv out there worked out perfectly, we set it to a country music station and relaxed on the floating dock. Only negatives: yard service came while we were all there trying to swim and relax- he was very loud and quite a bit of cut grass got in the water. But we understood he was on a set schedule, just impacted us for about an hour. Also, the walk to and from house is dirt and mulch - maybe getting pavers would be nice in the future. But again, it’s a lake house, we wore out boat shoes and it was fine. However, If you have serious ankle or knee issues that walk would be challenging. Overall, an amazing time. Would defiantly rent this house again.

First of all, let me say that the location of this property on the lake is wonderful! We had plenty of room to swim and play in the water without having to worry about other boats. Also, the dock and outside area of the home were our favorite parts. It was a great area to relax with lots of room for sitting and hanging out. In regards to the lake house itself, it was nice and roomy but could use some updating. Also, please know that the room with the four bunk beds is nice, but you can only access this area of the house by going "outside" of the main house. It was ok for the older children in our family, but if you have younger children, this is something to consider. Also, communication with the owner/property manager could be improved. It often took several days to get a response to questions that we had about the property.

First, this is an honest review from four families combined who travel extensively including one that owns rental property on the Gulf Coast. The pictures provided are very deceiving and outdated of this property. Other than the second level of the boat dock, there is clearly a lack of pride in the ownership of this house as it is very worn and dated inside and out. I am appalled a Builder and a Realtor would rent the property in this condition, especially with no smoke detectors. I do not recommend this property. Look elsewhere on Lake Martin.

Everything was in good working order. Check in/check out easy. Great location- quiet. Appreciated use of the water toys. Loved the boat house. Recommend using the public boat ramp on Hwy 34 instead of the one on the property. Also access to downstairs is outside- Just FYI. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

Had a great stay

Our group of 15 had a wonderful time! The little ones enjoyed playing in the shallow part of the water. The adults floated for hours. Our slough was quiet and private. The upper deck was our night time hangout. We brought a couple of box fans so it was very comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked and the living space was very comfy. Todd was great to work with. We've already booked for next year!

We totally enjoyed our stay. The outside areas are great. The grill area was wonderful though we had to do a lot of cleaning the area before using. I also resecured the single step off of the downstairs deck because it had been removed and there were exposed nails. We were disappointed in the condition of some of the furnishings which are very worn. The upstairs bunk bed ladder was broken on one side so I had to remove it so my granddaughter could safely go into the upper bunk. There was supposed to be a porta crib (which we needed) but it couldn’t be found. The glider on the upstairs house deck felt like it was going to fall apart so no one sat in it. Needs some care.

We enjoyed all the outdoor amenities of this property. The upper deck with TV was great for relaxing and watching the kids in the water. Catching fish off the dock was great fun for the younger ones and a duck hung out with us all week! Definitely recommend for outdoor family fun!

A great family place! Furnished with everything we could need--and then some. The Maui Mat and kayaks especially were big hits. A great slough--very little boat activity yet super close to big water. Plus, the Blue Creek area with many nearby amenities is the best spot on the lake. We'll be back!

We had the best time at Beaver Lodge!! Not only was it clean, convenient and everything we needed for a great weekend, the view and the privacy in the cove made it even better!!! The dock was the icing on the cake- the perfect place to enjoy the lake in November and watch the Iron Bowl. War Eagle!! We might have to come back every year after that win!

Very roomy accommodations for our large group! They had everything we needed and perfect for our auburn football weekend!

We had my boyfriend's 30th birthday there this past may. We had friends and family of all ages and everyone had a great time! We had so much fun he wants to go back every year, and I will gladly oblidge! The house slept plenty of people but the 2 story dock with bar area was AMAZING! it was also easy to laod, anchor and unload our jetskis. The owner was so helpful and flexible to accommodate our needs. I almost didn't want to write a review because it was so awesome we don't want it to be booked when we are ready to book our next trip!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Great location for going to an Auburn football game. We spent a great deal of time on the boat dock watching tv and visiting. We loved kayaking and playing horseshoes. The property owners were easy to contact and incredibly accommodating. Also loved being so close to Niffers on the Lake. We hope to say again next year!

This was an excellent choice for our Bachlorette party. The house was great but the deck was awesome! It was rainy so we stayed on the deck most of the time. Big and spacious, with plenty of nice furniture for lounging. By car, Its about 10 minutes away from gas stations, Restraunts, Bars and a marina to rent boats (Lakeside). It took us about 30 minutes to get to Chimney Rock on the Pontoon we rented from lakeside Marina. I recommend this place to anybody, whether you want to lounge on the deck or take to the water. Fun for the whole family. We had a wonderful weekend.
